This is an intermission to inform my readers about the changes to Chapter 1.

  Hello readers, first, I would like to apologize for going quiet for a month or two, but that's not what this is about. This message is specifically for those who read Chapter 1 before 7/23/23. If you're reading this after that date, you can skip this intermission.

  For those who did read Chapter 1 before 7/23/23, I kindly request you to reread it as I have rewritten the entire chapter.

  You may be wondering why I did this. The reason is that upon rereading the original chapter, I noticed a major miscalculation on my end. I am by no means an expert on spaceships or room designs, but there was just no way for everything to fit inside the dimensions that I originally had for the ship.

  Firstly, the ship was only around 300 feet in length and width. Now, as I said, I'm no expert here, but with the later chapters coming out, it would make no sense, and the rooms were all smaller than a bedroom, which once again made no sense, so that was a big problem.

  Secondly, the objects in the rooms also had to be redesigned to fit the new room dimensions. I also felt that the rooms were too empty, and I went into too much detail telling you all the dimensions of everything. I realize that this could be compressed or left out to avoid just reading numbers.

  Thirdly, I personally believed that I could have done certain areas better, so that's what I did. Now, when you reread the chapter, you will notice it's a bit longer. Instead of 3k characters, it's now 4k characters. I apologize if that's not your style, so I will be placing a poll to see what you all prefer. I personally like the 4k character limit as it allows me to write more, but I can adjust accordingly based on your preferences.

  Now, please reread Chapter 1 and let me know what you think of it compared to the original.
