Today is Alejandro’s fourth day surviving in this jungle. Even though he wants to get out as soon as possible, it seems he has grown liking in this place. He quickly adapted the nature of this jungle and got to know better of its environment. During these past few days, he has grown stronger and faster to the point that he can fight multiple monsters at once. His cautiousness level has also significantly increased. However, there is one thing that he is still having trouble…

  Am I mixing these ingredients the right way? It’s been hours and I still cannot create a perfect healing potion! If only Desiree is right here by my side… Gah! It’s useless to think that right now. I have to do this as soon as possible.

  Even though Alejandro has grown significantly since the past few days, it seems he is still having trouble when it comes to creating something. While he is trying his best creating a healing potion, Grimclaw and Jeanny Snowcrest can be seen lying unconscious besides him. Both of them are breathing heavily and sweating profusely. “Finally! I successfully created one healing potion! I’ll have to divide this one potion so that both of them can have it.” Alejandro then quickly poured half of the potion in to Grimclaw’s mouth first and also half in to Jeanny Snowcrest’s mouth.

  Why did the woman even faint in the first place? I did not even damage her, was it just because she was really afraid of me? That’s so foolish of her, she survived in this jungle for almost a week and yet she’s afraid of me? A fellow human being? I hope she wakes up as soon as possible so that she may help me creating more healing potions.

  Not long after, Jeanny Snowcrest woke up with a sound of a rumbling stomach. She was confused at first but then she remembered all of the things that happened before she fainted. She then slowly approached Alejandro with a pale face. “Please, mister. Give me something to eat… I haven’t eaten for the past two days.” Jeanny begs to Alejandro.

  Oh. So that’s why she fainted earlier. Poor woman, I’ll give her a piece of cooked Sepcinas. “Here, eat all of it. After you’re done eating, help me create more healing potion.” Alejandro then gave her a huge part of cooked Sepcinas meat that looks delicious.

  She immediately started eating as if she was a wild dog that has not been fed for a month. Alejandro was just standing menacingly and is currently watching her eat as if the world will end tomorrow. Suddenly, he felt a scratch on his left leg, he looked down and sees his companion, Grimclaw. The silver Zagnagros seems to be healed as its wounds are slowly fading away. Grimclaw looks up at his master with sad eyes, telling its master that he wants food right now. Of course, Alejandro understood it right away and also gave Grimclaw a bigger cooked creature meat. He did not give Grimclaw a cooked Sepcinas since he knows that monsters in this jungle does not like the taste of a Sepcinas meat. The meat that Alejandro gave was something different that he hunted earlier while both Grimclaw and Jeanny Snowcrest was still unconscious.

  “Eat up, Grimclaw. We’ll hunt more later before dinner.” Grimclaw proceeds to chew, bite and eats up the cooked meat. A buzzing sound interrupted Alejandro as he was about to continue mixing the ingredients of healing potion. He was the only one that can hear the buzzing sound since he is the only that has a high level cautiousness. He left his companions and followed the source of the buzzing sound. Alejandro then finally arrived to the source of the buzzing sound and he couldn’t believe as to what he is seeing right now.

  Oh no. This is dangerous! These insects are deadly! I thought I wouldn’t encounter them again; I believe they are called Killer Thunderbugs. They are small yet very fast that uses thunder magic that when one gets struck at, they will faint immediately and there is even a possibility of an instant death! There’s no other choice but to retreat around this area, I have to tell them as soon as possible.

  Just when Alejandro was about to go back to where his companions are at, the Killer Thunderbugs flies as fast as they can towards to Alejandro’s companions. The smell of the cooked meats is what they are after. Alejandro realized this quickly and immediately tightened his legs, making the veins around his calves visible and his thighs bigger, he then blasted off towards the flying Killer Thunderbugs. He was hoping he can catch up to the Killer Thunderbugs and slay them all, but it was useless as Alejandro’s fastest speed was not enough to catch up with the Killer Thunderbugs.

  Shit! I thought I can catch up with those Killer Thunderbugs! I made a grave mistake, however I still have another option.

  Alejandro inhales all the air around him and started to shout as loud as he can. “RUN!!!” Alejandro shouted at the top of his lungs and started to run towards the direction where the Killer Thunderbugs were heading at. “Come forth, Bavael!” Alejandro shouted while running and Bavael immediately woke up, sensing a great danger even he was asleep. “I am here, master.” Bavael replied. “I’ll throw you as far as I can in that direction, please find Grimclaw and the woman! Help them and slay all the Killer Thunderbugs! I’ll catch up in no time!” Alejandro explained the plan and did not waste any time as he started to strengthen his whole right arm and threw Bavael as far as he can.

  Even though Grimclaw is a strong wyvern, I know he doesn’t stand a chance with those Killer Thunderbugs, the same with Jeanny Snowcrest! Even with Jeanny’s ice attacks and Grimclaw’s fire breath, they will not be able to kill even one Killer Thunderbug! The fact that I cannot match the Killer Thunderbugs speed is enough to understand that they are the kind of insects not to underestimate!
