Perhaps Another world

Facing the blade with no fear I tilted a few centimeters away and charged my left hand with force backed with my weight.

  *Drip*

Blood flowed from his nose to his neck as he slumped below the dark concrete.

Turning from the remaining people I glared with a command, "Go back to your mommies, you wussies!"

The remaining people glared intently, but it seems their spirit was already broken.

They didn't try to fight back anymore, they were scared.

They were a total of five people, but only two of them remained.

I also didn't notice but somehow my right hand was somehow warm, or more precisely it was heating up.

I took a step into the dark alley, but blood only dripped besides me.

  "Ahh! It hurts!"

My voice cracked along the tense silence.

The people who had attacked me flinched ever so slightly from my remark.

I picked up the blade that was used against me, I didn't care whether they died from my attack.

I only defended myself, it wasn't my fault that they were going to die, they brought it to themselves.

Yes…Yes…it was them who started this.

  So why?

  Why is my grip trembling?

  Why is the blade shaking?

  Why am I crying?

Tears cascaded to my face as squeezed the blade firmly.

  "Please just go back!"

  I tried to only survive…

  I didn't want to suffer anymore…

I'm afraid that something may happen to me, again.

Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

  They were mumbling something.

  "Ahh!"

"So, this is it, you didn't want to live; the same as me"

"If only your group didn't attack me, you could have made it back to your family"

Blood flew all over as I struck the men left in Infront of me with the blade.

  "How many has it been?"

  "A few thousand?"

I already lost count; it was the same as breathing.

The alley was covered with blood, but I paid no attention to the extravagant details.

The sun was already rising and I could feel the heat increasing.

And my mind flashed with the years of suffering I endured.

  Kill.

  Survive.

  Kill.

  Survive.

My mind was filled with unsure thoughts.

Perhaps if hadn't drunk that night, then I wouldn't be having this kind of life.

I shook my head trying to wash my thoughts.

I peeled my face to my side, trying to examine the wound I got but only to be met by an empty arm.

It was hot but also nostalgic.

It was painful but also bearable.

  "I should leave"

I needed to get out of the alley, and I need to be fast.

It was only a matter of time before they noticed this mess.

I ran away from the scene and ran back to my little apartment.

I covered my right arm with the blazer I had from school.

  "I should skip today"

It wasn't because of my arm; I simply didn't have the energy to go to school.

"What a convenient thing the world has become, with only a thought and simply putting some keywords to a simple device, you can find almost anything you want with the latest information available"

I was back at my simple apartment, it wasn't particularly large or particularly small, it was just the right size.

Cobwebs hung out from the ceiling just because I hadn't cleaned my room.

My battered body lay squirming from my bed oozing blood through the sheets.

In my left arm was what people from this generation call a phone.

Since I only had an arm, I was struggling to put the words onto the search bar.

  *Sigh*

  [Murder Incident near me]

I entered the exact words into my phone with a few struggles.

It was already a few minutes when I left the scene, and as I expected they already noticed the events that had unfolded in the neighborhood.

I scrolled through the news with a blank expression.

It was me who was behind the incident so I had to check if they found a clue or something.

[In the dark alley of street ________XXXXX, a grim incident had unfolded with 5 men brutally murdered.

The scene where the terrifying events occurred is currently under investigation, more information will be updated later…]

Fortunately, neither my identity nor that man's identity had been revealed.

But I still needed to be careful.

My eyes slowly drifted along the puddle of blood from the sheets to the floor, along the drowsiness engulfing me, my phone fell from my grasp as my eyes twitched in and out burying any sense of thought lingering in me.

I was slowly getting dizzy and the pain was gradually intensifying.

  "Good Nig-"

And with that, the cold grip of sleepiness pulled me toward my reverie.

When I opened my eyes, I found myself in the middle of a large space of farmlands, Soothing my nerves with the breeze of summer lingering across my neck.

I was wearing I particular old style of clothing, similar to that of a commoner from ancient times.

  It was absolutely confusing.

  "Where am –"

I felt my sense of balance wavering.

As soon as the stability of my balance came back, I turned my eyes toward my arm.

The place where I'm currently standing at wasn't the only thing strange, my cut arm seemed to be still attached to my body.

  And I again repeated.

  "Where am I?"
