Gohan noticed two things when he woke up the next morning, first was the distinct ck of warmth by his side, second was that there was something sticking to his forehead, it looked like paper reaching up he found a sticky note, ‘Thank you, for st night, I guess I really needed to get that off my chest. I’ll be back ter this evening. Z.’

  Gohan smiled as he read the note before he put it away in the nearby nightstand, as he got up, got ready, had some breakfast, and head to his original b to pick up some of the less important research notes to bring to his new b. Going over everything took him most of the morning, since he had to make sure he didn’t bring any of Vanadis’s notes since he had told her that she could use his b for any projects she needed.

  Once he finished, he decided to hit the Gravity Room for a few hours, having little progress in his goals, as he stepped out of the Gravity Room, he received a message from Zangya letting him know that she was on her way. Gohan replied letting her know that he had just finished training and that he was going to take a quick shower before getting started on dinner and that she should let herself in with the keycard he gave her.

  After dinner, they went outside to sit on the balcony where Zangya pulled Gohan down pcing his head on her p, something that he found that he didn’t mind, “…Cooler wants to know if it’s alright for him to stop by in a few months to see how much stronger his men have become.” Zangya said.

  “…Sure, I don’t have a problem with that and I’m pretty sure Raditz, Piccolo and Tien won’t have a problem either, since that gives them a chance to spar with someone new. Although Vegeta might have something to say once he senses them approaching.” Gohan said, closing his eyes enjoying the feeling of Zangya running her fingers through his hair.

  “That’s right, he has some history with Cooler’s family.” Zangya said, “…Is there any way we can make things go smoothly?”

  “…I don’t have any ideas right now, but I can ask Bulma for some advice ter. I’m sure with her help we’ll come up with something.” Gohan sighed, “That feels good.”

  “Sounds good.” Zangya said, “…Oh! Cooler also said that he’ll bring the schematics and materials so you can build those healing chambers that you asked for and the other things you asked for.”

  “Oh, that’s great! Having those chambers will be helpful.” Gohan said, smiling.

  “Why did you ask for them if you can heal people and have those bean things?” Zangya asked.

  “Besides me the only other person who can heal is Dende and he lives all the way on the lookout plus the Senzu Beans take too long to grow. Which is why I want to build a few healing chamber’s so that we have another option just in case something happens.” Gohan answered.

  “I see… are you expecting any trouble?” Zangya asked.

  “…No, I’m not but it doesn’t hurt to be prepared...” Gohan answered, opening his eyes after a while. “Piccolo said he doesn’t have a problem with Cooler stopping by as long as this time his men prove to be a better challenge.”

  “I…when did you talk to him?” Zangya asked, looking into his eyes.

  “Just now.” Gohan answered.

  “H-how?” Zangya asked. “You didn’t use your phone.”

  “I can talk with him Telepathically.” Gohan answered.

  “Y-you can communicate telepathically!?” Zangya asked, her eyes widening with realization as Gohan nodded.

  “Yeah… well actually I’ve only talked with Piccolo. Oh! and my dad when he was alive.” Gohan answered, “Why?”

  “No-no reason it’s just now I know how he was able to talk with you while you were away training st year.” Zangya said shaking her head, “…Can you teach me?”

  “Sure!” Gohan said smiling at her.

  “Thank you.” Zangya said smiling back.

  “Yeah, no problem.” Gohan said, “When do you want to start?”

  “Let me talk with V, first I want to see if she wants to learn as well that way, we’ll have a way to communicate with each other, without having to rely on the phones.” Zangya answered.

  “Sounds good.” Gohan said, closing his eyes as Zangya resumed running her fingers through his hair.

  They eventually headed back inside to sleep where Zangya decided to sleep in the same bed as him leading to another restless night for him as she snuggled up to him wearing only her underwear.

  On Monday afternoon Gohan left for his meeting with the director of Orange Star after having breakfast with Zangya who left early saying that needed to talk with Bulma and Vanadis, she gave him a kiss before leaving. Gohan was taking his time as he walked towards the school until he was distracted by the sounds of gunfire and screaming from nearby, “What’s going on?” he muttered, running towards the sounds.

  Gohan found two police officers hiding behind their car while four men in ski masks fired at them, two crooks were carrying bags of what he assumed was filled with money based on the bank behind them. While another one was in the bed of the truck grabbing the bags from the other two and the st one was behind the truck firing at police who were arriving, “Ha! just try and stop us!” one of them shouted as they continued firing.

  “…I got plenty of time.” Gohan muttered gncing at the clock above the bank entrance, “I should probably transform so no one will recognize me.” He said gncing around to make sure no one was nearby.

  Gohan effortlessly transformed into a Super Saiyan and flew towards the gunmen where he quickly took out the two near the entrance of the bank with quick chops to the back of their necks, and then he took out the gunmen in the bed of the truck with another chop, drawing the attention of the st one who shouted at him as he started firing, “What!?...You bastard! Eat lead!”

  Gohan quickly caught each bullet fired at him with one hand until the gun ran out, “W-what!?” the man muttered, eyes wide in shock as Gohan let each bullet fall to into the bed of the truck, “T-that’s impossible…” he uttered as Gohan jumped off the truck delivering a kick to his face knocking him out.

  When the driver saw what happened he tried to drive away but Gohan quickly caught up, and grabbed the tailgate of the truck, stopping it in pce, the sudden stop made the driver hit his head knocking himself out. Gohan looked around and saw people coming out to see what happened, so he quickly vanished, reverted to base and continued his way to school for his meeting.

  “Well Mister Son, besides your change of address is there anything else you needed?” The Director asked.

  The Director of Orange Star High was an older man with white hair, mustache, and gsses, who just finished telling him about the rules, csses, and other things he needed to know before he started csses, “No, sir that’s it.” Gohan answered, shaking his head.

  “Very well, I should have enough time in my schedule to show you around.” The Director said, standing up. “Would you like that?”

  “Yes, sir lead the way.” Gohan said standing up as well.

  “Very well follow me.” The Director said walking towards the door and opening it to find a woman with blue eyes, blond hair tied in a bun, with her hand raised to knock on the door.

  “Ah! Director!” The woman excimed, pushing up a pair of green gsses, she was wearing a yellow shirt, and a long green skirt.

  “Ah, Miss Hamilton, what bring you by?” The Director asked.

  “I didn’t know you had a guest, Director.” Miss Hamilton said noticing Gohan.

  “Ah, right Miss Hamilton this is Son Gohan, he will be a part of your css in April.” The Director said gesturing towards him, “Mister Son this is Miss Hamilton she will be your English teacher.”

  “Please to meet you, Miss Hamilton.” Gohan greeted.

  “Please to meet you too.” Miss Hamilton greeted back, “I can come back ter if you are busy.”

  “No, it’s fine we just finished, and I was pnning on giving Mister Son a tour of the school.” The Director said, “Did you need something?”

  “Yes, may I have a moment of your time?” Miss Hamilton asked. “It’s about Miss Sa… one of our students most recent test scores.” She said, clearing her throat, her eyes going to Gohan then back to The Director.

  “…I see, I’m sorry but it looks like the tour will have to wait for another day if that is alright with you.” The Director said, turning to Gohan.

  “That’s fine, I can come by a different day.” Gohan said, nodding his head.

  “That sounds perfect, how does this Friday sound around the same time.” The Director asked, “I’ll be sure to have someone show you around, just in case I become busy again.”

  “Sounds great, see you Friday.” Gohan said, nodding at him, “It was nice to meet you, Miss Hamilton.”

  “Nice to meet you too Mister Son.” Miss Hamilton said, smiling at him.

  “Oh, before I forget here you go, your school badge.” The Director said, walking to his desk and handing him a badge with an orange star on it, “You’ll need to have this on you at all times once you start csses.”

  “Oh, Thank you. Have a good day.” Gohan said giving them both a small bow of his head, before leaving.

  “What a well-mannered boy.” Gohan heard Miss Hamilton say as she closed the door.

  “Yes, he is, and his test scores were some of the highest in...” Gohan heard The Director say as he walked away.

  While leaving the school he heard mutterings of a powerful golden fighter who stopped a bank robbery earlier, “Damn, rumors spread fast here, I hope that robbery was a one-time thing, I don’t want to draw to much attention to myself.” He muttered.

  When he got outside, he made his way towards where he heard some shouting and found some students outside pying baseball, and some other sports, that he didn’t recognize, “I should ask Yamcha for some tips on sports, the only reason I recognize baseball is because he pyed.” He muttered to himself, reaching into his pocket to take out dinocap with the motorcycle Launch had given him.

  The following days Gohan spent time going on small dates with Zangya who was doing everything she could to help him prepare for his date with Vanadis, Friday evening, “What are you pnning for your date with V, tonight?” Zangya asked, Friday morning.

  “We’re having a double date with 18 and Krillin.” Gohan answered as set the table.

  “Really, that’s a nice idea.” Zangya said.

  “Thanks, but I can’t take credit for it. 18 was the one who gave me the idea.” Gohan said, sitting down.

  “How did that happen?” Zangya asked.

  “I remembered that Vanadis wanted to talk to her about something, so I called 18 asking if they were busy tomorrow, and she told me that Krillin was going to take her out tomorrow, then she asked me why I wanted to know. I told her Vanadis wanted to talk with her, she asked why we didn’t stop by today and I told her we had a date tonight then she suggested we make it a double date. I didn’t see a problem with that and then I suggested that we have dinner here especially since Vanadis told me that she likes eating my cooking more than going out to eat and then after dinner they could step outside to talk while me and Krillin stayed in here.” Gohan expined.

  “Nice thinking.” Zangya said smiling at him, “But you know that now you have to take me out on a double date, right?”

  “Yeah, I do, I already have something pnned but I need to talk with them first.” Gohan said smiling back at her.

  “Good.” Zangya said as they began eating, “I’ll stay at your moms pce tonight.”

  “Why?” Gohan asked.

  “I want to give you and V, some space, tonight is all about you two.” Zangya said smiling at him.

  “…Oh, right.” Gohan said, scratching his cheek. “Oh, I need to get ready, for my meeting.” He said when he saw the time.

  “Ok, go ahead, I’ll handle the dishes.” Zangya said.

  “Thank you.” Gohan said, giving her a quick kiss before going to his room to change.

  Gohan was about to cross the street when, he was almost hit by a speeding car that ran the light, “W-what the hell?!” he excimed as two police cars passed by seconds ter.

  “Are you alright?” someone in a car near him asked.

  “Y-yeah.” Gohan called back.

  “That’s good. Man, this city is getting crazier.” the person said, before driving off.

  Gohan checked a nearby clock and saw he had time before his meeting, so he looked around, found an empty alley, where he transformed and flew off after the car. Which he found quickly because of the sound of gunfire. There were two people in the back seat leaning out of the open window firing at the police behind them, “Man, what’s up with this city? This is the second crime I’ve come across this week.” Gohan muttered from the air, “Oh, well better put a stop to this before someone gets hurt.”

  Gohan quickly flew down towards the car nding in front of it as the two gunmen stuck their heads back in his sudden appearance startled the driver making him stomp on his brakes as the tires screeched, the driver jerked the wheel hard causing the car to flip over but Gohan caught the car before anything worse could happen. Gohan shook the car a few times before setting it down as he disarmed and knocked out the three men inside the car before disappearing once the police had arrived.

  Gohan back in base form entered Orange Star and made his way to The Directors office where he found him waiting for him outside his office with a familiar face, “G-Gohan!?” Erasa shouted when she saw him.

  “Ms. Erasa please don’t shout.” The Director said staring at her.

  “S-sorry Director.” Erasa said quickly, “I was just surprised to see Gohan here.”

  “So, you two know each other, that’s great, saves us some time.” The Director said smiling at their nod.

  “Hello Director, Erasa.” Gohan said smiling at them.

  “Hello, Gohan, it’s good to see you again, like I told you Monday if I was busy today, I would have someone else show you around and Ms. Erasa volunteered.” The Director said, “Ms. Erasa I leave him in your hands.”

  “You can count on me Director.” Erasa said smiling at him.

  “Mr. Son, I’ll see you again in April.” The Director said, nodding at him.

  “Of, course thank you Director.” Gohan said, nodding back, as he went into his office, Gohan noticed Ms. Hamilton was in the office with a student before the door closed.

  “Come on Gohan.” Erasa said with a big smile on her face as she grabbed his arm and started leading him down the hall.

  “R-right.” Gohan said, carefully removing her hands from his arm, which made her frown before she smiled again and continued walking.

  Gohan followed her listening as she told him about the history of the school, where certain csses were, and about the extracurricurs they had, “…And here we are.” Erasa said smiling at him, they had finished the tour and were now standing by the water fountain, “I hope you liked the tour.”

  “Yeah, it was nice thank you, for taking time to show me around.” Gohan said smiling at her.

  “No, problem, I enjoyed spending time with you.” Erasa said smiling at him. “Although next time you should tell me about yourself.”

  “Sure, sounds nice.” Gohan said, reaching into his jacket for his dinocaps. “I’m sorry to cut this short but I’m having some people over and I need to get ready.”

  “Oh, ok… Wait!” Erasa said stopping him, “Let me message you, so that way you have my number for ter.” she said, quickly taking out her phone.

  “Alright. I got it.” Gohan said, tossing the dinocap and climbing onto his motorcycle, after receiving her message. “Wait! …how do you have my number?” Gohan asked, eyeing her.

  “Oh! your girlfriend… Z-Zangya?” Erasa said looking at him as he slowly nodded at her, “Zangya gave it to me when I helped her pick out some outfits the other day.”

  “S-she did?” Gohan asked, as Erasa nodded quickly, “…she didn’t say anything to me about that.”

  “You can ask her if you don’t believe me.” Erasa said, a little nervous.

  “I…” Gohan started saying.

  “Erasa!” someone called out interrupting them.

  Gohan turned towards the voice and saw a girl walking towards them, she had straight bck hair, with low pigtails ending at her chest, she was wearing a long white shirt that went past her waist, bck spandex shorts reaching her thighs, bck fingerless gloves, purples socks, bck and green boots and golden hair clips for her pigtails.

  “Hey, Videl!” Erasa said, smiling at the girl. “How did your meeting go?”

  “I don’t want to talk about it.” Videl said shaking her head. “Why are you out here?”

  “Oh ok.” Erasa said nodding, “The Director asked me to give our new cssmate a tour of the school

  “New cssmate?” Videl asked, eyebrow raised, finally noticing him.

  “Yeah, Videl this is Gohan, he’s going to be joining our css in April. Gohan this is Videl my best friend/sister.” Erasa said, giving her a side hug.

  “Nice to meet you.” Gohan said holding his hand out.

  Videl stared at him for a while before shaking his hand, “Yeah.” She said, not taking her eyes off him, making Gohan noticed that she had blue eyes as well.

  “…Is there something on my face?” Gohan asked, as she continued to stare at him.

  “What!?” Videl asked.

  “You’ve been staring at me for a while, I just thought there was something on my face since you were staring so much.” Gohan said.

  “…no sorry I just remembered something I heard earlier.” Videl said, still not taking her eyes off him.

  “R-right.” Gohan said slowly, “…I’ll see you around Erasa. Nice to meet you Videl.” He said, starting up the motorcycle.

  “Ok, bye Gohan!” Erasa said smiling at him.

  Videl didn’t answer as she continued staring at him, making him feel a little uncomfortable, Gohan turned around, and drove away.

  After getting home he talked with Zangya who told him before she left that she did give Erasa his number in the hopes that he could make some friends his age. Vanadis arrived a little ter and started helping him with dinner, before he left to give Krillin and 18 a tour.

  “Woah, this is a really nice pce!” Krillin said as they entered the dining area.

  “Yeah, Bulma doesn’t mess around.” Gohan said smiling at him and 18, “How have you guys been?”

  “We’ve been doing good, how about you two?” Krillin asked, scratching his hair, something Gohan was still trying to get used to.

  “Same, I’ve been keeping busy finishing some st-minute things for school, training and testing out an idea I have. While Vanadis has been busy helping Bulma with a secret project that they won’t tell me anything about.” Gohan answered.

  “I’ve told you it’s a surprise.” Vanadis said, bringing the food.

  “Yeah, I know but you guys won’t even give me a hint.” Gohan said, taking the food from her with a smile.

  “That’s because you’ll figure it out if we gave you a hint, so you’ll just have to be patient.” Vanadis said, shaking her head, with a smile. “What do you guys want to drink?”

  “What do you have?” Krillin asked, smiling at them.

  “Water, HeTap, juice, TFS soda, and milk.” Vanadis said.

  “I’ll take a HeTap.” Krillin said, sitting down.

  “Make it two.” 18 said, “So, Vanadis told me you also know how to cook.” she said, looking at Gohan.

  “Yeah, I thought it would be a good skill to learn, so I asked my mom and aunt to teach me.” Gohan answered.

  “Are you good?” 18 asked, sitting down.

  “I like to think I am.” Gohan chuckled, scratching the back of his head as he sat down.

  “Don’t mind him he’s a great cook, I would rather eat his food then go out to eat.” Vanadis said, smiling as she sat down next to him.

  “Really, I can’t wait to try it then.” Krillin said, smiling.

  “…Let’s dig in.” Gohan said, scratching his cheek.

  “This is really good.” Krillin said, after they took their first bite. 18 gave him a nod of approval.

  “Thanks.” Gohan said smiling at them.

  They continued eating while talking about what they’ve been up to, pns they had for the future. Once they finished eating, they went to the living room to talk some more, while 18 and Vanadis went outside to talk, “Hey, Krillin, do you know if Master Roshi is busy tomorrow?”

  “Master Roshi?” Krillin asked, looking at him, “I don’t think so, why?”

  “I want to stop by and ask him for some Martial Arts advice.” Gohan answered.

  “Oh, well, he’s never that busy but I’ll let you know.” Krillin said, nodding at him.

  “Thanks.” Gohan said.

  “Yeah, no problem. Oh, that reminds me of an interesting rumor I heard earlier while in the city earlier. Want to hear it?” Krillin asked.

  “Ok…about what?” Gohan asked.

  “About a certain powerful golden-haired fighter going around and stopping crime.” Krillin said smirking at him, “You wouldn’t happen to know anything about that would you.”

  “I…damn, I was hoping to avoid this.” Gohan said, shaking his head.

  “Haha, it’s alright Gohan it’s who you are, you see something bad happing and you just feel like you have to stop it.” Krillin said chuckling, “Although may I offer a piece of advice.”

  “…Yeah, go ahead.” Gohan said, chuckling.

  “Since I know, you will probably continue stopping crime, try and get a disguise or something because sooner or ter someone else may figure it out, the only reason I knew it was you is because I’ve known you since you were a kid.” Krillin said, smiling.

  “Yeah, I need to come up with something to hide my identity.” Gohan said nodding his head.

  “Don’t worry Gohan, I’m sure I can whip something up for you.” Vanadis said, walking back in with 18.

  “Thanks V.” Gohan said smiling at her.

  “No, problem.” Vanadis said, smiling back.

  “Are you guys done talking?” Krillin asked.

  “Yeah, we are.” 18 said nodding.

  “Ok, well, we should do this again sometime.” Krillin said, looking at them.

  “Yeah, that sounds great, right?” Gohan asked looking at Vanadis.

  “Yeah, I would like that too.” Vanadis said nodding her head.

  “Yes, it was nice but next time why don’t we use that pool of yours.” 18 said.

  “Sounds good.” Gohan said, with a nod.

  “Ok, see you guys ter.” Krillin said as he and 18 waved at them before flying away.

  “That was fun.” Gohan said looking at Vanadis.

  “Yeah, it was… can I stay the night here?” Vanadis asked.

  “Yeah, of course you don’t even have to ask V.” Gohan said smiling at her.

  “…Thank you.” Vanadis said, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek before heading to one of the spare bedrooms.

  Gohan woke up to find a message on his phone from Vanadis, ‘I had to head to the b, but I had a lot of fun st night. Give me a few days to come up with a proper disguise for you, you’ll have to come by ter so I can get your measurements. I left some breakfast for you in the kitchen. Have a good day.’

  Gohan smiled after reading the message, “How did I get so lucky.” He wondered out loud as he got ready and went to eat the breakfast Vanadis made for him.

  While doing the dishes he received a message from Krillin telling him that Master Roshi was free and would be expecting him, Gohan thanked him before heading out. When Gohan arrived, he found Master Roshi sitting outside on a wn chair drinking some coffee, “Good morning, Master Roshi.” He said nding.

  “Good morning, Gohan.” Master Roshi said smiling at him, “How have you been?”

  “I’ve been well. How have you been?” Gohan asked.

  “I’ve been good as well.” Master Roshi said, taking a sip of coffee, “Krillin told me you wanted to ask me something.” He said gesturing to the chair next to him.

  “Yes, I wanted to ask you for some advice.” Gohan said, sitting down.

  “Oh! advice on what?” Master Roshi asked.

  “Some advice on Ki manipution.” Gohan answered.

  “I see, go ahead I’m listening.” Master Roshi said, turning to look at him.

  “I’ve been trying to see if it’s possible to change the shape of a Ki attack after it’s been fired, for example changing a normal ball attack into a disk or something else after firing.” Gohan expined, “I already know you can change the direction of attacks, and make some attacks follow someone but I was wondering if it’s possible to manipute them further, after firing them.”

  “Hmm…it should be possible, as long as one has a deep understanding of Ki…” Master Roshi said stroking his beard, “What do you know about Ki?”

  “I…it’s a tent energy or life force inside every living being that lets us do all the incredible things we do.” Gohan answered.

  “…That’s more or less correct, Ki is an internal strength that we drawn on to help us break through the physical limits our body has, we need to overcome those barriers if we wish to get stronger. The more your Ki is increased the harder it can become to control; you need to maintain a proper bance between your body and spirt if you wish to have proper Ki control, because the stronger you becomes the rger your capacity for Ki becomes, which in turn affects your control.” Master Roshi expined.

  “…are you saying the stronger someone becomes the harder it will be for them to control their Ki, since their capacity grows as well.” Gohan summarized, looking at Master Roshi, who nodded.

  “That’s correct, 7 years ago you became the strongest person on the pnet, and I know you haven’t scked in your training since then, so your strength has only grown even more. Which in turn has made your Ki capacity rger throwing your control out of sync…you need to find that bance again, to gain proper control.” Master Roshi expined, “…let me ask you what your end goal is?”

  “I…what do you mean?” Gohan asked.

  “I mean, you’re already the strongest person on the pnet and maybe the universe why do you continue training?” Master Roshi asked, turning to look at him. “What are you trying to accomplish?”

  “I… want to be strong enough to protect the earth from any potential threats, I mean we were lucky that Cooler wasn’t exactly looking for revenge but who knows who or what else is out there and what their intentions towards us are… I have a feeling that this peace isn’t going to st long, and I want to be strong enough to protect everyone I care about, once it ends.” Gohan answered.

  “Hmm…I see…” Master Roshi said turning away from him after staring at him for a good while, “…you need to find the bance between your body and spirt again and once you find it, I believe you’ll find the answer you’re looking for.”

  “…how do I do that?” Gohan asked.

  “I can’t answer that for you, it’s different for everyone else.” Master Roshi said, standing up and stretching. “You need to find it yourself.”

  “I see…thank you Master Roshi.” Gohan said standing up too.

  “Of course, Gohan, that’s what Martial Art’s Masters are for.” Master Roshi said smiling at him. “May I offer you another piece of advice.”

  “Of course.” Gohan said nodding at him.

  “Don’t spend all your time training, take some time to rest and enjoy the simple things in life...” Master Roshi said, staring out at the ocean with his hands behind him, “Sometimes we find the solutions to our troubles when we take a step back and come back to it with a fresh mind.”

  “…of course, thank you Master Roshi… I pn on doing just that, I’m going to go home and spend some time with my family.” Gohan said smiling at Master Roshi,

  “That’s a great idea, give them my greetings.” Master Roshi said.

  “I will, Thank you, Master Roshi.” Gohan said, giving him a bow.

  “Of course, Gohan, have a nice day.” Master Roshi said to him.

  “You too, Goodbye Master Roshi.” Gohan said, waving at him before flying home.
