Chapter 11

“Failure is the root of success.” - Averick Tellings

  Chapter Eleven:

[This is recording 1: “Today, the subject awoke and peeked under the bed again. He then proceeded to freeze in pce for 20 minutes and 48 seconds, and then stood up and broke all 20 ptes in the room, causing us a loss of 15 meal cameras. This is interesting, and could possibly be progress. Review this recording and then give me a response that expins his motivations for doing such a thing. Good day and good luck.”]

[This is recording 1: “I have reviewed the recording and these are my findings: He has finally gone insane. His odd obsession with the legs of his bed is deluding his brain, and it caused him to act out, and break all of the most breakable things in the room, that being the ptes. Now, we have lost 15 cameras. This is a disaster, and progress has halted and perhaps even regressed. This is terrible.”]

[This is recording 2: “Another terrible thing has occurred. I have somehow lost the page of that book that you had entrusted to me. It may have possibly nded in the hands of a fellow colleague. This is terrible. I fully acknowledge my mistake.”]

[This is recording 2: “I have entrusted that page to you under the conditions that you do not lose it. You have lost it. Thus, you are hereby fired from this company and kicked out of this facility. I have informed the guards. Farewell. Good day and good luck.”]
