“Professor, is it true that the titans are the first to emerge from the cauldron of fire?”
A humanoid creature with bluish-skin fiddled with the datapad on the right hand. From the human’s standpoint, this alien seems to be female as compared to another simir alien standing beside her, she possessed many more recognizable humanoid feminine qualities, especially mammary organs simir to humans.
The other alien, seemingly called ‘Professor’ by the former, stood at a higher height and had a more robust body for their race. However, compared to humans, they are far more nky and taller. Along with their elongated ears, they could be seen as blue-skinned elves according to human’s folklore.
They wore sturdy suits that reflect and shimmer in light while carrying various equipment used for studying scientific data from various sources. They do not wear any helmets at the moment as they are standing on a kind of observatory with a closed and reguted environment suitable for their lifeform.
“Hmm… it must be true. From our records, their appearance is the first record of these people when we made a mistake trying to mine that pnet centuries ago. The queen even told us so, even if what she said about them is utterly ridiculous”
The professor said, making the female alien’s brows twitch. She scrolled on her datapad quickly, finding the section that was recorded about the ‘titans’.
“... So…? What’s recorded here is…”
“Very possible. Though we called them the great titans of destruction, capable of decimating an entire city by their lonesome and worthy of being a myth… the queen just called them in ‘That’ misleading term…”
The professor then turned his head toward the scenery beyond the gss window. There, a lush forest covered the horizon, typical of a pnet that bore life with temperate weather, simir to Earth’s.
However, on one the area that can be seen from the observatory tower clearly, an ancient body of a rocky titan stood still, covered by pnts and vines, like a picture of a lone warrior forgotten by time. If anything, the hole in its chest area could almost guarantee that this titan is long gone.
“Well, we’re here to check the safety of the titan before we can start cleaning it. When we get there, we will have plenty of opportunities to study it. Let’s get to work”
“Yes, professor”
And the two donned their helmets, carried their equipment, and exited the observatory.

< Xeir’s POV >
Puk!
One needle pierced…
Puk! Puk!
Two needles pierced…
As the rock needles are thrown to the other side of chasms surrounding my domain, I just realized one harsh reality.
Honestly… I thought my idea was brilliant but… It’s getting tiring very quickly. I mean, the scale is multiple tectonic ptes, which is, honestly, even bigger than a couple of continents merging together.
Not only I have to manually create giant needles one by one, at most two, since I’m still not used to multitasking on the scale this big, but I also need to control the va mass to reinforce the chasm as well since there is a high chance that my domain alone isn’t strong enough to hold two tectonic ptes together by, consider the scale of things, thing thread of basalt.
No, that probability is almost a certainty if I’m still very slow like this! The first ones I made are already having cracks!
So… in the end, doing things at a scale like this alone is simply inefficient, isn’t it… If it was like an RTS game or City-Building games, I would probably be able to create pipelines for certain things and be away from it, waiting for it to finish. I wonder… Can I do something like that here? I’ve never tried using the Console Commands to make some kind of AIs like that before…
…
… …
… … …
After typing and probing some possible commands for a while, I only found things like ‘Errors’ or ‘No Permission’ from the console. This is why trying to cheat lives with the console is extremely infuriating. Even the ‘Help’ command doesn’t help much!

>Civilization
>Civilization data automatically set to: Gactic
>Type 0 Civilization Unnamed
>Leader: Xeir (Animalith)
>Capital Unnamed Pnet
>Number of systems: 1
>NOTICE: Civilization visualization avaible
Hmm? I found something…
When I typed ‘Civilization’, which usually required much higher authority over the dimensions than I would have since that level of authority would have no issue using ‘Kill’ command on anything, a number of data was shown.
I read the output data and frowned, why was it set to ‘Gactic’ scale? Is it because I was a rock that hit a pnet or something? No… it could mean that the prominent stages of civilizations are at that level?
Moreover, does this even count as a civilization when I’m just a single entity?? I’m a leader of who, me? Myself?
Ugh… too many questions popping up. Anyway, this might be a key to help me get out of this problem since it’s the closest to any kind of command that allows me to create some autonomous intelligence.
Why is it? Well, when you speak of civilization, you gotta think about many members with the same goal accomplishing and advancing together, right? Much like 4X games where you explore, exploit, expand, and exterminate for your civilization to win the game.
Also… visualization avaible, is it? Does it have a preset for that already? I mean, I can visualize much of the data in the console but I’d need to code it myself, which is a pain in the ars and I'm better off just reading text data.
>Civilization Visualization Enable
Beep!
When I entered the command for visualization, there was a sound effect jingle inside my head and a window appeared.
…
I can’t read it.
What’s in front of me in my humanoid form is simir to a user interface that showed various data with what I assumed to be things reflecting the state of my supposed civilization. However, the characters shown for me are not in a script I can read and look more like weird jagged noodles strewed together.
I guess the nguage belongs to whoever designs the visualization, huh? Probably an administrator or whoever is administrating the civilizations.
… I don’t care who made it but… I need to be able to read it to access anything. Therefore, I tried to change the nguage to English and…
>Civilization Visualization List
>1 Visualization Found: UIDefault Version 3.2.11
>Civilization Visualization UIDefault Language
>UIDefault Language is set to Lithia
Lithia? What kind of nguage is this? It has ‘Lith’ in its name again… Don’t tell me it’s the nguage of rocks? Hey! Even if I’m a rock, that doesn’t mean I can read rock nguage!
>Civilization Visualization UIDefault Language Set English
>UIDefault Language is set to English
Tadah! Good thing that in the grand scale of things, all nguages are recognized, isn’t it? I can put any nguages from Earth like English, Japanese, Thai, Russian, or Latin here or fantasy nguages like Tolkein’s Elvish and it will show. The only thing it needed is that the nguage must be at least created somewhere in some dimension.
Now that the interface is now in English, I can understand things more clearly.
First, the main screen is… this pnet. It was in 3D projection of the pnt I’m currently on and showed mostly only the basic features of this pnet like it being unnamed, it is round with cracks, and it is barren… with no real-time update on it.
What the heck, why is it so sloppy?
That was when I saw a button that said [ Append Map ]. When I clicked on it, a list showed up with one content on it, [ DynamicMap ].
That’s probably the map I created earlier. Which means this interface can append the data I made in the console? Neat!
When I selected the [ DynamicMap ], the sloppy pnetary view I saw earlier changed in real time and now, it showed the area I was on precisely.
I made a giant arm rising into the sky and waved.
In my area on the pnetary map, I saw a tiny hand waving! Which means it really is updating in real time! Woo!
… Having been distracted enough by the notion of having an upgraded version of the map, Ibegan looking at various tabs and icons on the interface. What I saw is basic information like territories, poputions, technologies, and resources. There are various other tabs being nested as well but I paid no mind to it.
What I’m most interested in right now is on the popution tab. When I clicked, it showed a single list on it with the name ‘Animalith’. When I clicked for more details, it said that there is a single popution of Animalith currently, which is, you guessed it, me.
However, there are more important details on it.
[ Animalith ]
Phenotype: Lithoid
Traits: Lithoid, Gestalt Consciousness, Ageless, Psychic, Precious Mineral, Parasitic
Lifespan: Ageless
Diet: MineralsSize: Pnetary (Hive Mind), Vary (Drones)
Popution: 1 (on Unnamed Pnet)
Description: A psychic hive mind entity that can assimite mineral materials into their own. Their appearance varies depending on the design of the hive mind, ranging from heavy-duty golem-like workers to infiltrator scouts that took the appearance of other lifeforms. The hive mind’s main body is usually an entire pnet while other pnetary bodies are managed by
The information shown to me actually expins more details on the Animalith! I’m gd it’s not just saying I’m a psychically active immortal rock species! But… Why does it end like that? I was confused by how the description section seems to have its text cut off at ‘managed by’ since there is no period at the end of it. I tried clicking everywhere around it but it doesn’t show any more detail there. Worse, it allows me to edit the content as well…
… What the heck, did the admin or whoever responsible for this data accidentally deleted that section or something? What kind of sloppy job is this, even though they made such a functional user interface!
Being frustrated, I decided to edit something funny in it in case I decided to come around and update the description ter.
Description: A psychic hive mind entity that can assimite mineral materials into their own. Their appearance varies depending on the design of the hive mind, ranging from heavy-duty golem-like workers to infiltrator scouts that took the appearance of other lifeforms. The hive mind’s main body is usually an entire pnet while other pnetary bodies are managed by, being struck by, a smooth criminal!!!!!!111!!
“Ow!”
…
… …
… … …
OK, back to being serious about trying to get minio— I mean, workers… no wait, I don’t think I have to censor that. According to the description and traits, I’m a hive mind entity, meaning whatever I create next would be me and therefore, worker rights do not exist! They are all me, after all!
Trait: Gestalt Consciousness
Description: A trait of a species that has collective consciousness, meaning all members of such species are connected and share all their senses and thoughts. They either have a single main consciousness controlling all members, or all members are considered one entity.
I’m not sure what kind of a hive mind I am since I have never been the one in control before. In my past lives, though, I have been reincarnated as a member of hive minds before… But I got killed pretty quickly since the nature of my glitchy being prevented me from having any kind of mental manipution on me.
Since being in a hive mind counts as being maniputed mentally, I got cut off from the rest of the hive and seen as foreign entity, being eliminated in the end.
Anyway, when I was looking around in the interface, I found that I can create lifeform blueprints tied to my species. I can’t really make anything inside the interface though, it just has a function to save whatever creature I made and automatically use required materials to create more.
… It didn’t say how to make one in the first pce…
Ugh, this is frustrating, doesn’t the interface have any manual for me for anything? No, I already looked through it, there is no manual at all! Just how do you expect a newbie like me to use it!?
Frustrated again, I just decided to use my gigantic arms to mold a big humanoid looking va golem. I created and inserted a new POV camera inside the humanoid, but it just ended up being reassembled into my form. Basically, it just became my clone…
Ugh, come on! I don’t wanna control two or three things myself!
I removed the camera and the big humanoid rock colpsed back into the sea of va.
I use gigantic arms to mold a new one and make it keep its form using psychic energy. I looked at it, standing thinking, sitting thinking, ying thinking, and making a human bridge while thinking, but I still can’t figure out how to make it move by itself.
I don’t have permissions required to make a bot, I also can’t control it myself as well since that will defeat the purpose. Is being a hive mind forcing me to micromanage? Really?
That was when I noticed that the humanoid rock’s head was… turning to look at me? I thought I was hallucinating and accidentally turned its head by myself, so I tried using my psychic energy to turn its head back, which it did…
Hmm?
I was turning its head for a while both horizontally and vertically to the point that its head was upside-down and looking backward. I still find nothing out of pce… Uh… try walking or something on yourself?
…!
It… it did! The humanoid rock walked! Mah baby finally took its first step by itself! I succeeded! I finally will have a minion to work for me now, woooo! I still have no idea why it suddenly worked but maybe if I try thinking back on what I did, I might find out. Oh! Seeing a big golem-like thing moving at me is such an intimidating sight!
… no wait, why are you heading this way—
Before I could order it to stop, the humanoid rock, moving at such a speed unmatched with its size, stepped on my humanoid body with a spsh, destroying it completely and returning my POV camera inside into a nearby space like I was looking at a death scene of a character in third person.

… I need a lot of fine-tuning this thing, isn’t it?
