  In one of the uncharted region beyond Millos’tre’s newest frontier quadrant, the Mekel quadrant, a brief anomaly spike of psychic wave was detected by Station Mekel-Limier, which is the furthest frontier station we have established in order to expand our territory outward from the Ophenia Arm.

  Psychic energy has only been recently discovered. It is very enigmatic and does not match conventional science we have studied. We only know that it was an energy or force that can alter reality, reted to other levels of dimensions and can be used to establish a connection with beings beyond our realms of understanding. We only have ever studied the phenomena caused by such energy but we have never found a way to directly measure it. We also specute that the brain of some sentient being could also generate such energy as well, albeit too small for measurement.

  The reading indicated an extreme discharge of what we dubbed as a psychic wave by observing momentary instability of space which seemingly originated from nowhere in the shape of an expanding disc. This psychic discharge in particur is extremely rge yet only appears and disappears almost instantly.

  Unfortunately, we do not have any observatory that can look into the uncharted region and give out an exact reading. Therefore, after the brief detection, the Emperor decided to immediately send in a science vessel to get an accurate reading, which is, incidentally, our ship. Therefore, I will send in a request for escort corvettes on the ter date.

  Normally, such a thing as an energy discharge would not arm us. However, if it was a psychic energy that we barely understood, being cautious is, I believe, to be the right choice for now.

  What… just happened?

  I remember ranting about waiting too long for anything to happen, then I feel some heat rising… then what happened after that? Oh wait, I bcked out, right? Whatever that happened, it completely made me lose my consciousness. I don’t even know that a floating rock in space can lose consciousness like this…

  Slowly, I subconsciously opened my eyes, and a scene of catastrophe was revealed. In front of me, a sea of molten rocks expanded beyond the horizon without the end while also occasionally being bombarded by endless rain of meteors. Panic crept in and I tried to look around, which appeared to be the same scene everywhere including where I was “Standing”. As a living being, I instinctively tried to jump, but something unexpected happened.

  Suddenly, the massive sea of va erupted, ejecting pilrs of extremely hot molten rocks into the sky. The more I tried to get away, the more chaos occurred. I could even feel an increasing intensity of tremors underneath myself. No matter how hard I tried to move around, I felt like I was stuck in pce, chained to an indomitable mountain, waiting for an inevitable doom.

  … No wait, I don’t feel… very hot?

  That was when I realized something that was amiss. I stopped trying to get away and looked around again. When I stopped, the chaos also receded. The jet of va that was spilled everywhere seemed to have calmed down and returned to the sea of molten rocks. The tremor that I felt also disappeared like nothing. And most importantly, I don’t feel like I’m burning at all even if I recognized that I was deep inside this sea of va.

  To confirm my confusion, I tried to lift my left arm, but va instead erupted out of it, forming into the shape of a gigantic arm. When I tried to lift my right arm, another gigantic molten rocks arm appeared to my right. And when I tried to cp, the two gigantic arms cshed violently to each other and the molten rocks exploded upon impact.

  … Are you… telling me I am a part of this sea of va?

  Realizing that after calming down, I decided to try accessing my console command and issued an inspection command toward the sea of va in front of me.

  Wow…

  When I inspected the va, my console panel printed this ID out along with some random numbers and text attached afterward. What’s important are the first bits of this string of code. Basically, it said that what’s in front of me is the enriched sea of va that is also a part of an entity, which is numbered Spc6154100784… I’ll assume that it refers to Animalith, the species I belong to right now.

  And of course, after LavaSea is probably my own unique ID that could not dispy correctly, so at least I know that this thing really is an object with me as its “parent”. In other words, it is a part of me. There is also the string attached to it as well which means there are more strings after it. Honestly, I don’t even want to read it. It’s more of a random text to me.

  While I was staring at this information for a while, I just realized something that I overlooked before due to my own panic.

  I can see…

  Previously when I just realized I had been reincarnated into this “Animalith” species, I could not sense anything whether it was sight, touch, taste, hearing, or smell… actually, I DID feel heat a bit, but that’s it.

  Now, after the bckout, I could open my “eyes” and found myself “standing” on this sea of va that somehow becomes a part of me confirmed by looking at its ID. The console never actually showed the complete ID or data though, since it was just an interface only for me to understand… and I can’t even understand most of it.

  Does that mean I’m using something other than physical organs to sense my surroundings and it transtes to images in my brain? Considering how many races I have been reincarnated too, the spectrum range seems to be within humans’ perception range, and some more, which is quite convenient. I wonder if it’s magic, qi, psychic, or deus-ex machina I’m using right now? Anyhow, they are quite simir in terms of reality maniputions.

  Now, let’s see what the logs say if I try lifting my “Hand”...

  As I think of lifting my hand, a gigantic arm-shaped molten rock emerges from the va ke and the logs are going crazy, almost too fast that my brain can’t process. I have to shake the gigantic arm and wiggle my fingers for a while until I can catch a log that says “Psychic”.

  I see… so the energy I used to lift my arm is psychic energy! Meaning, whatever I am right now is a race that can instinctively use psychic powers to do things. From my own definition, a psychic power is a power that can directly manipute phenomena in reality using thoughts as medium and draw power from some other dimensions or something and that even counts the concepts of “souls” that were stored in different levels of dimension as a form of data. In that regard, my soul is corrupted data stored inside the “Cloud” server of this multiverse… I wonder if it’s okay? If I used it too recklessly, I could end up generating a bunch of error entities that became those whatever-the-frick crystals that destabilize everything around it as well…

  Time passed as I was pying with the sea of va that is apparently my own entity of being, I discovered more things. First, I can change my viewpoint from where I am “standing”. When I was lifting my gigantic molten rock arms, I was wondering why they are so big, so I tried to make the arms smaller. However, maybe because I was distracted by something, everything around me became smaller instead.

  At first, I thought that I accidentally shrunk the entire world, but I quickly dismissed that absurd idea almost immediately. When I looked around, I found myself “floating” above the sea of va. I said floating because when I looked down, I didn’t find anything attached to my senses at all, much like an astral projection.

  I was panicked that I might fall, and suddenly, my entire viewpoint got wonky. Things changed sizes randomly and some things got either closer to me or further away and I can either see nothing at all because my hand suddenly blocked my entire view, or it became extremely small and I can see the entire world wrapping around itself…

  After a bit of calming down, I found out that this is almost exactly like I was changing FOV (Field of View) in gaming or photography terms. To expin it, normal humans have forward FOV and have blindspots from the sides and behind. However, some animals, like goats, can see almost behind their head because of their high FOVs. Of course, it has to do with depth perception where two or more FOVs can be combined and created binocur or more -ocur…? FOVs?

  … Cough.

  I mean, humans and animals have binocurs, that means two-eyes, where their two FOVs from each eye are combined into one where the brain processes the cues into a concrete depth perception. While monocur (one eye) also can perceive depths due to various cues, binocur is generally MUCH better at that. Meaning, things with high binocur FOVs can perceive depth much better!

  … In conclusion, better eyesight, lol.

  Now though, back to what I discovered. I found out that I can change my FOVs to the extreme of 360 degrees and as low as 0.1 degree! Meaning, I can see behind me and in front of me at the same time! Not only that, I can independently increase my viewpoints as much as I want and at any pce around the va sea! It allows me to see like I was in a war room back in my previous incarnations, looking at cameras! But seriously, the vision is too weird I wanna vomit…

  No, I mean, literally, too many viewpoints or too extreme of FOV made my hypothetical brain feel like it would explode… No, really, look, the va sea is freaking on a riot now! Holy sheet!

  … Anyhow, I’ll keep my default FOV and POV (Point of View) like a normal human, even if I’m not one right now.

  Second thing I found out is that… I’m bored! Again! I was waiting for something to happen but after seeing the stars in the sky revolving for more than ten times, nothing other than this sea of va bubbling according to my mood happened. Oh? You think “Stars” is a typo? Nah bro! It’s three stars in the sky! Three! How exciting is it? For all I know, I’m fked.

  Why? Well…. Have you ever heard of the n-body bodies problem? By body, it’s not like you, me, some random humans, that have a body housing a soul, but a celestial body; stars, pnets, etc.

  So, what’s the matter?

  Ahem, let this girl tell ya! Normally, a sor system that can bore life like where Earth is would have a star or two and multiple, or in rare cases, no celestial bodies orbiting it. Why? Because they are stable. As in, celestial bodies are orbiting the rgest gravity well in the system, the star, in a regur stable pattern where not much deviation of the paths occurred and can be predicted quite precisely. Therefore, if a pnet bore lives there, they can thrive long enough to create civilizations

  Three or more though? Well, good luck having a stable pattern long enough for anything to develop at all. With one star being a gigantic gravity well that interacts with objects strongly, two stars could be either one main star and a smaller star orbiting it and other objects orbiting those, or two stars equal in mass orbiting each other. Three stars though, the gravity of each star will interact and pull each other like a tug of three-way wars. When one star has a stronger gravity well, it pulls another into it, but then another star also pulls that star in another direction? And the star itself also pulls those two other stars? Chaos, bro!

  Imagine you’re on a pnet orbiting those stars that orbit each other chaotically. One day, you are happy with moderate sunlight at that time of the year, another year passes, and suddenly you’re freezing in the entire year, and in another… volcanoes erupted everywhere because the pnet you’re on accidentally orbited too close to a star…

  Of course, all of what I said is what I exaggerated a bit to tell the picture. Maybe the system I crash-nded is on a stable system of harmony where all three stars found equilibrium? Since it’s just about 10-ish days… I think? At least that’s what I think since it’s dark 10-ish times. Since it’s just that short of a time, I can’t conclude anything… so I’ll just wait for… however long a year in this pce is.
