97 - Token Exchange

As news of the Skills Dungeon Tokens spread, everyone's attention turned to the buses.

After all, getting a token wasn't easy.

Each bus only had one token, and it was normal for people on many buses to fight tooth and nail for them.

Most people who managed to grab a token, fearing it would be stolen, would use it immediately to teleport to the Dungeon.

Few, like Mark, managed to hold onto their tokens and planned to sell them.

Those who obtained tokens but didn't use them were either leaders of their buses like Mark or had beaten everyone else into submission with their strength.

In their eyes, the skill in the token wasn't that useful, and it was better to sell it for resources and equipment to improve their strength.

Meanwhile, Jason left the driver's seat and handed the RV over to Ellie and Lily to drive. Only by driving themselves could they learn how to drive quickly.

However, worried about accidents, Jason also had Kira watch over them and provide guidance.

Then Jason turned his attention to the Group Chat App.

Jason and Chloe sat on the sofa with the girls and looked at Tiffany, asking, "Tiffany, have you posted the message about buying tokens?"

Tiffany nodded. As Jason had instructed, she immediately announced that they were buying tokens with Attribute Orbs.

"Hubby, I've already posted the message. Currently, there are two people who want to trade tokens for Attribute Orbs. However, they think three Attribute Orbs are too few and want to exchange for six."

  Six?

Jason frowned slightly, curious, "What skills are in their tokens?"

In Jason's view, skills also had levels.

Trading for six Attribute Orbs was fine, but the skill in the token had to at least satisfy him.

Tiffany glanced at the system and said, "One person's token is for cooking, and the other's is for... singing."

  Uh...

Jason was speechless. There was even a singing skill?

However, Jason also knew that the skills learned from the tokens were not ordinary.

For example, a cooking token could teach you how to make one or two types of food with special effects. The singing token would similarly teach you how to sing songs with special effects.

Only Jason knew this, of course, Sonny might have figured it out too.

But neither of them would say anything about it. Instead, they would secretly buy tokens.

Token holders didn't know this. They wanted to exchange for six Attribute Orbs, clearly trying to raise the price.

The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Jason opened the system to check the Group Chat App. Sure enough, he saw a dozen people who had obtained tokens posting their information.

Many RV owners were already bidding, trying to buy the tokens in their hands.

These dozen people weren't in a hurry to sell their tokens, waiting for the highest bid, hoping to get the most benefit.

Seeing this, Jason wasn't in a rush to bid. Instead, he quietly watched the Group Chat App.

At that moment, Jenna brought out a pot of tea and a plate of cookies from the kitchen, pouring a cup of tea for everyone.

"Jason, I bought a package of tea leaves yesterday. This tea is delicious. You guys should try it too."

Jason nodded, picking up the teacup and smelling a unique fragrance before even tasting it.

He took a small sip and felt a lingering fragrance in his mouth and a refreshing sensation.

The tea actually had a refreshing effect.

In the Escape World, cigarettes, alcohol, and tea were all luxury items and could be sold at high prices in the future. For example, a single cigarette could sell for twenty or thirty Escape Coins.

If he could get a production line for cigarettes, alcohol, and tea, he could definitely make a lot of Escape Coins.

Jason took a few sips of tea and continued to focus on the tokens in the Group Chat App.

Besides the cooking token that Mark was selling, there were also singing, driving, medical, planting, farming, and winemaking tokens.

The quantity of each token varied. The cooking token had the most, with five people selling them.

The most popular was the medical token, but there was only one. Many RV owners were bidding high for it.

On the other hand, people initially bid on Mark's token, but RV owners weren't stupid. They realized they were intentionally raising the price and ignored them.

They thought the skills in their tokens were valuable.

Jason was also interested in the medical token. He had assigned ?Joy the position of medic, but without any similar skills, ?Joy could only do intelligence work.

Jason had to get this medical token to increase the team's medical capabilities.

However, other RV owners had the same idea as Jason and were bidding high for the medical token.

One RV owner had already offered a 1-star equipment in exchange for the medical token.

Jason knew he couldn't wait any longer and sent a private message to the person selling the medical token.

The person selling the medical token was called Howard. Jason remembered him. On the first day of the Escape World, he had pocketed six Attribute Orbs from a RV owner and was thrown onto the highway and forced to board a bus.

"Brother, if you want to buy the medical token, bid in the Group Chat App. I don't accept private transactions," Howard replied after receiving Jason's private message.

This was Howard's way of intentionally raising the price.

Only by trading openly in the Group Chat App would RV owners continuously raise prices, maximizing his profit.

Jason naturally wouldn't bid in the Group Chat App, so he sent a message: "I'm offering a flat price of six E-Rank Attribute Orbs, or a 1-star combat boots plus two Attribute Orbs."

"If you don't like either of these prices, I won't offer any higher."

Howard didn't reply immediately after seeing Jason's offer, as if he were considering something.

After waiting about a minute, Howard agreed to the deal, exchanging for six Attribute Orbs.

"Okay, I already have 1-star combat boots, so I'll exchange the token for six Attribute Orbs."

Both parties quickly completed the transaction. Howard also announced in the Group Chat App that the medical token had been traded, causing dissatisfaction and complaints among those bidding on the token.

Jason looked at the medical token in his hand, nodding with satisfaction, then looked at Tiffany: "Tell the two people selling the cooking and singing tokens that the Attribute Orbs are gone."

Tiffany nodded, and immediately contacted the two people selling the tokens as Jason instructed.

  On the bus.

After receiving Tiffany's message, Mark's expression immediately changed.

He had thought Tiffany would add one or two Attribute Orbs to buy his token, but he didn't expect them to be out of Attribute Orbs.

Mark regretted it so much, hating himself for being too greedy.

But soon, Tiffany sent him another message, saying he could trade the token plus 150 Escape Coins for a pair of 1-star combat boots.

Mark was overjoyed. He had obtained more than 180 Escape Coins and a cooking token from the Bronze Chest, which was enough to exchange for 1-star combat boots.

So Mark gratefully exchanged for the 1-star combat boots with Tiffany.

What Mark didn't know was that the crafting price for the 1-star combat boots was 100 Escape Coins. Jason had essentially earned 50 Escape Coins and a token from him for free.
