In the end, there was nothing I could do but let Aahmes crowd my house with useless appliances.
I instantly got a fully furnished kitchen, living room, and den, as well as a gold legged bath tub beneath my shower in the big bathroom on the ground floor.
He replaced my single bed with a double, and even placed a study table and a dresser in the room that greatly lessened my walking space. For his room, he bought a divider and a thick carpet for his yoga sessions. He even placed seat in my terrace and balcony, and a garden set in my back yard.
He got the whole place changed so much that I hardly recognize my own house!
“Now, I can prepare better food for you!” he told me as soon as the deliverymen left.
He opened his newly acquired double door refrigerator. I was surprised to see that it was brimming with food inside!
“Wow, did the food come with the fridge?” I asked him sarcastically.
“No, I actually bought the food earlier in the grocery and placed them inside while you were busy telling the movers where to place your bed,” he seriously replied while he took out some meat from the freezer half of the fridge.
“Haay... so what do you plan to cook?”
I inspected the stuff he took out.
Looks like we’re having steak for dinner.
“Something quick,” he replied, “I know you are hungry.”
He placed some olive oil on his new frying pan, placed the steak on when it was hot enough, then sprinkled it with some salt and pepper. He placed it on a plate later and cut it in front of me with a steak knife.
Damn.
I was literally drooling from the magnificent aroma.
He even took out a bottle of red wine and two goblets, handing me one of them.
“Are you still angry?” he asked me.
“It’s not like I could do anything now.”
“Good, let us eat, then.”
“Where’s the rice?” I looked around at the new kitchen appliances he bought. “You didn’t buy a rice cooker?”
“Rice cooker?” Aahmes’ smooth forehead slightly creased. “Ah, that is right, rice is a staple here in your country. Would you like some dinner buns instead?”
He handed me pack of monay [small buns].
“Where did you place my old rice cooker?”
“I told the men to place them outside.”
“Ha? [what?] Why outside?”
“We won’t be using them anymore. Might as well throw them out to save space.”
“Ha?!” My jaw dropped at what Aahmes said.
I hurriedly went outside and saw all my old stuff lined against the garage wall!
“Who the hell told you to trash my old stuff?!”
I took my old rice cooker and oven toaster and placed them back inside the kitchen.
“Stop meddling with my stuff!”
“But the timer on your toaster does not work anymore,” he reasoned out.
“So what if there’s no timer? It still cooks, and I prefer it that way! That’s why I got rid of the irritating alarm!”
“Okay, if you insist,” Aahmes’ brow very slightly twitched. “I just don’t see why you need to keep it, when you can easily buy a new one.”
“You don’t NEED a new one as long as the old stuff is still working!” I argued. “And where did you put my clothes you got cleaned?”

“Oh, they are still at the back of my car.”
He stood up from the his newly bought dining table set and headed outside. He returned later carrying a large laundry bag.
“What’s that? Were the cleaners giving away free laundry bags?”
“I bought it for us,” replied Aahmes.
I looked behind him.
“That’s it? You fit all my clothes in just one bag?” I asked. “Didn’t we fill three garbage bags earlier since you emptied my whole closet?”
“Yes, I told the people there to get rid of the old ones.”
“What?!” I glared at Aahmes once more. “And who gave you the right to throw my clothes away?!”
“I noticed that most of them were already threadbare, some even had holes in them. Also, you only have two formal suits which are also threadbare and faded. You should buy new ones.”
“I don’t NEED new once since I hardly ever use them anyway!” I lashed out at him. “The fuck! I loved those clothes since they were comfy and fit my body perfectly! How could you just ask someone to throw them away?!”
But no matter how much I fumed and seethed, there was just no getting through to Aahmes’ uncommon sense.
“Aaaargh!!! Damn it!”
There was nothing for me to do but to take a deep breath after pulling my own hair and sit myself down on the dining table.
I glared at my steak and decided to murder that instead.
“Be thankful that your food tastes good!” I mumbled with my mouth full.
“Next time, we need to go to the tailor to get you measured for a new suit,” he continued to pester me.
“What the hell are you saying now? I don’t need a new suit.”
“What if you need to go to a meeting? Or an awarding ceremony?”
“I don’t go to stuff like that.” I took another piece of stake from the pan.
“Professor, you have a scheduled meeting on Thursday, and the award ceremony for your newly developed suppressant will be held next month.”
“Sez hu?” I frown at him while gulping down my food with some red wine.
“Your schedule did,” he replied. “I have been reminding you about the meeting since last Friday.”
“Haa... you attend it then.”
“It specifically requested for your presence, professor Antonio,” he insisted.
“If it’s not life or death, then I’m not needed,” I replied. “You go.”
I took the last piece from the pan and ate it with the small buns.
“This is good. Go cook some more.”
Aahmes looked at me and stood up, leaving his half eaten stake on his plate. He donned his apron to cook some more steak.
I watched him with his back to me and wonder, just why is this idiot slaving away for my sake?
If he’s really a prince, why is he fine with my verbal abuse and unreasonable demands? And if he’s not really a prince, then how did he afford to buy all these stuff for my house?
He looks intelligent enough, he’s got a handsome face which could turn heads, with his long, jet black hair and his prismatic green eyes that seem to change color with the light. In fact, a lot of my minions back in the office have been trying hard to catch his attention.
Why, even bastards from the alpha division from the other building keep hitting on him!
So, what’s this bastard omega’s problem?
Why is he making a fool of himself, just to get my approval?
When he first arrived, he told me ‘Mahal kita’ [I love you] because he looks up to me.
Truth be told, he caught me off guard, since no one has ever told me they loved me, aside from my kuya [older brother, aka anii-san, aka hyung – you’ll be seeing this word a lot].
I mean... There were some idiots who approached me before, women who were attracted to my handsomeness, but after a while, when I lose my patience and start raising my voice, they all run away crying.
Fuck.
What’s the use of a woman who does nothing but cry, anyway?
If they can’t get used to my personality, then they could never be my assistant.
But Aahmes is...
Well, he does seem to be in the spectrum1.
I guess that’s why he doesn’t seem to mind very much no matter how much I ridicule him and curse him out.
Something tells me he’s sapiosexual2 as well. He’s probably in love with my intellect. That’s why he refuses to leave me the hell alone.
I look at the half eaten stake on his plate.
At least he cooks pretty well.
And since he has a long fuse and doesn’t get insulted easily, then I wouldn’t need to watch myself when I mouth off at him.
He deserves it, anyway, for pissing me off.
I feel myself grin.
I guess this arrangement isn’t so bad, after all. In fact, it’s quite the bargain! I got myself a great cook, a chauffeur, and a genius assistant. That’s a great upgrade compared to the imbeciles I used to get.
Aahmes turned the stove off and walked back towards me with the frying pan. I quickly took my eyes off of him.
“Here you go, professor, I added a splash of red wine for flavor.”
I immediately took one.
“Mmm... sarap!” [yummy!]
“I am glad that you like it. Most of the food I prepare are simple, quick and easy to cook, since I myself am usually busy with my own work.”
“Mm.”
“By the way, professor, is there anything that you do not eat? Any preferences or allergies”
“Nada.”
“Good, I will try to create healthy, balanced dishes for you from now on, so as to make sure that you are at the peak of your health.”
Why does he keep blabbering when I’m trying to eat?
“As for the new appliances, think of them as my gifts to you for taking me in as your student,” he went on. “After our meal, I would like to go through your study with you and start the extraction of the omega pheromone so we can start on the project as soon as possible.”
“Yeah, whatever. Now eat.”
I placed another piece of steak on his plate to shut him up.
