Clash of Titans

Kazuki’s voice echoes through the vast expanse:

  > "I won’t hold back anymore!"

His eyes flare, lightning cracking across his body.

  > "I’m not weak!"

He crouches, palm slamming into the void beneath.

A dark sigil pulses beneath him, glowing with crimson and electric blue. Lightning screams out in all directions, cutting the silence of space.

Kazuki roars, the force of it tearing through the vacuum, his aura exploding outward like a storm gone wild.

  With a flash—he vanishes.

Reappears a breath away from Kairyuuha, foot aimed at his brother’s chest.

  But Kairyuuha...

  He’s already gone.

  The clash begins.

Movements too fast to be seen.

Only blasts, shockwaves, and flickers of light mark their battle.

Two gods dancing at the edge of destruction.

Flashback – Year 1, Month 8 of Descent

  They stood bloodied and bruised.

Before them towered a magic reindeer. Antlers glowing with runes, eyes burning with ancient power.

It let out a guttural bellow—and launched a blazing fireball straight at them.

  They rolled, yelped, and burned.

They didn’t know what that was.

  But they knew—it hurt.

  > Kairyuuha, panting: “We can’t even get close to it…”

  His gaze narrowed.

  > “How does it do that? What even is that?”

  He stepped forward, defiant.

  > “Is that… energy?”

His palm glowed—a tiny flicker of light.

  A spark formed.

He jumped high, body twisting as he used energy to push against gravity, learning instinctively.

  > “I can… do this!”

A small flame launched from his palm.

  The reindeer readied to retaliate—

Not with another fireball… but an INFERNO.

A massive pillar of flame devoured the landscape.

When it faded—the reindeer was cooked. And gone.

  In its place:

  Cooked meat

  Magic stones

  A mysterious bedroll set

That night, they made their first campfire, roasting the meat.

  They laughed, genuinely proud.

  And despite the bedding…

They curled up on the grass.

Because they had no idea what bedding was for.

  Montage – Training Arc

  Weeks passed. Then months.

  Blades infused with frost.

  Arrows that struck with lightning.

Kairyuuha split a boulder with a fireball.

Kazuki tamed the wind with a spin kick that launched gales.

Mana reserves expanded, battle instincts sharpened.

  Swordplay merged with spellcasting.

  Two years later—

  They weren’t celestial wanderers anymore.

  They were fighters.

  Mages.

Warriors born in a mortal world.

  Present – Celestial Warzone

Kazuki flips mid-air, eyes glowing molten gold.

  He mutters in Japanese:

  > "炎の操り人形…"

  "Come forth."

From his sigil, a massive fire puppet bursts out, over 20 meters tall, its molten limbs dripping flame.

It lurches toward Kairyuuha, roaring like a beast, hurling a burning fist—

  Right at him.

Kairyuuha lands, raising one hand. The flame puppet approaches fast.

  > “You’re not holding back anymore?” he smirks.

  > “Good.”
