On May 18, off the eastern coast of Qua Toyne, a warship belonging to the 2nd Fleet of Qua Toyne.
Out on the vast ocean, a warship of Qua Toyne is patrolling its usual maritime zone with its crew on board. Noda is the captain of the vessel, relishing the fresh air of the ocean and the gentle rocking of the waves against the ship, making him quite content.
"Yes, it's this scenery. No battles, just the sea and the clear sky," he says with a sense of happiness. The crew is rexed on the ship's deck. Suddenly, a reconnaissance comrade hurriedly approaches the captain, who is standing and gazing toward the ship's bow. The reconnaissance comrade, with an anxious and bewildered demeanor, says,
"Commander Noda! To the east, we have dozens of ships from an unidentified nation! How do you suggest we handle this situation?!" startling Commander Noda, snapping him out of the rexed state. The reconnaissance comrade immediately hands him binocurs to observe the approaching warships. The commander takes them and examines,
"Are those ships entirely gray? Finally, who are they? We should start moving and approach them! Everyone, prepare for combat! And call for reinforcements immediately!!" The decisive order is given. A few minutes ter, everyone is in combat readiness, approaching the gray-colored ships. Communication technicians start sending reports back to the mainnd.
USS John Finn, 7th Fleet
In the command tower of the USS John Finn, the crew continuously updates the situation for the commanders inside the tower. They have spotted a wooden ship on its way to the Rodenius continent. Brigadier General Marcus Bradshaw, holding binocurs, gazes at the distant sailing ship. Beside him are interpreters and Rodolfo Chavez, a diplomatic representative for the United States on the diplomatic mission. Brigadier General Marcus decides to break the tense atmosphere among him and the others.
"It seems we'll have guests there, and since we have full knowledge of their technology provided by the defense department, things should be smoother for us," he says calmly. The diplomat chuckles and remarks,
"Hey, what do you think when they see a computer for the first time? I'm really curious about their reaction to the things we have."
"Astonishment and surprise, perhaps? I'm not sure, but first, we'll approach them with an RHIB and the UH-60 Seahawk, and we'll have to transte that alien nguage through the ptop."
Wooden ship of the 2nd Fleet, Qua Toyne
As their wooden ship attempts to approach the colossal vessels, reconnaissance crew members hold binocurs, with the captain standing nearby. He is uneasy with vague information about the gray warships on the ocean with peculiar, unidentified fgs. The scout reports,
"A gray ship is unching a small boat... with some people on it? What do they think by approaching us with that small boat?" After saying this, he sees the RHIBs starting to shoot off at an incredible speed and advancing toward their boat. Additionally, a drone approaches their location. He is surprised and astonished,
"Wait! The speed of those ships is unimaginable, and that small dragon? I'm not even sure it's a dragon; who are they, after all?"
Captain Noda is taken aback by the scout's words. "Everyone, remember! Avoid any actions that may provoke these mysterious individuals! As I said, in Qua Toyne, we don't want to create more enemies!" And the MQ-8 hovers above them, sending chills through the entire crew with its strange and eerie sound.
After a few minutes, the strange ship of those people has approached their boat. When they see the fg with stars and five red stripes on a white background and another fg with a navy blue background and a peculiar symbol in the middle, the crew and the captain become concerned, and the captain silently wonders,
*What is their purpose here? And who are they?*
The strangers begin to wave at them. This surprises the commanding officer with their friendly demeanor. Confirming that they pose no hostile threat to their ship, the commanding officer instructs the crew to bring the dder for the visitors. After some hesitation, the strangers finally step on board. What meets their eyes are people wearing brightly colored uniforms with sandy yellow and wearing strange masks with patterns on them, and two individuals wearing shiny white outfits holding rectangur objects. Most of them wear and carry something like a staff, but it's unclear what it is. The commanding officer begins to greet them in Elysian international nguage,
"Um... Hello! Could you let us know why you've come to our waters??"
The question makes the figures on the screen pause and think for a few seconds. "We're delighted that you understand our nguage. We have no intention of vioting your waters, but we want to establish diplomatic retions with you as representatives of the Earth's human civilization," says the diplomat, using diplomatic nguage to define these extraterrestrial beings with political undertones simir to humans. The commanding officer is surprised and responds,
"This is beyond our authority to resolve. But, could you crify what civilization you represent?"
The question catches the diplomat off guard and makes him uncomfortable, but he quickly addresses it, "To put it simply, we are humans from Earth, representing the United Nations and the United States of America. Furthermore, we request to meet the leaders of your nation."
Noda finds it perplexing, "United Nations and the United States of America?" Then, he turns to the scout and instructs him to report the information they have about these strange people to higher-ups. This event marks the rgest first encounter between the United Nations and the inhabitants of Elysia, opening a new chapter in the history of Earth and serving as a milestone that changes the entire globe of Elysia from this moment onward.
Meanwhile, in the Capital of Qua Toyne, Lotus Forest
The leadership of Qua Toyne, including Prime Minister Kanata, is holding an emergency meeting regarding a rge fleet of colossal warships from a self-procimed nation in another world, beyond the sovereign seas of Qua Toyne. Each individual in the room is grappling with a myriad of emotions, as they have never faced a situation like this in their entire history. Prime Minister Kanata begins to question Foreign Minister Rinsui about the issue,
"How do these people from another world intend to establish diplomacy? Ultimately, are we supposed to represent Qua Toyne and meet with them?"
Rinsui responds with hesitation, "If that's the case, we should send the most trustworthy representative. But why should we go to them, while we could establish diplomacy right here in our kingdom? What's their motive?"
This statement sparks discussion among the people, but Defense Commander Nouka begins to present arguments and the information he has about these newcomers while holding a cigarette,
"As we suspected, they might be the ones attacking us a few nights ago. But for diplomacy, they want us to send a representative to their warship because they are concerned about what they call... an infectious disease? That's why they refused to meet us on the mainnd."
The response leads Kanata to make a decision, "Hm... In that case, Rinsui and I will personally go out there to welcome them." This statement surprises Nouka, and he responds,
"What if we can't control the situation? It's like committing suicide, welcoming the head of state without the protection of the military. You're underestimating your own life, Katana!" with a tone of frustration, as he only wants to protect his leader.
Prime Minister Kanata calmly replies, "Sooner or ter, we won't have the strength to resist that Louria Kingdom. We should make use of everything while we still have time, so I've decided that I will meet these people."
Everyone agrees with the Prime Minister's words and reasoning, deciding to meet them the next day. Nouka reluctantly accepts the decision and decides to send Qua Toyne's main battle fleet to greet these people.
The following day, in the Qua Toyne Valley
Prime Minister Kanata and Rinsui, along with elite royal guards, stand surrounded by a protective ring of satellite guards, safeguarding the two crucial figures in the Qua Toyne government. The wind gently sweeps across the valley, bringing with it the tranquility of the nd blessed by the goddess. Kanata takes a deep breath.
"Is this the calm before the storm?"
The representatives from the other side announce that they will send something called a "chopper" to welcome them. Both Kanata and Rinsui eagerly anticipate seeing the flying machines of these strangers. Suddenly, five objects approach from the coastline, accompanied by a terrifying sound.
Whop whop whop whop whop x3
The noise is deafening, and the shapes of these flying objects leave everyone astonished. It is a formation of five V-22s approaching to greet them. Rinsui excims with a bewildered expression,
"W... What on earth is that?! Who are we welcoming?"
Prime Minister Kanata is also surprised by what he sees. "They look like angels descending from heaven. Is this a fateful encounter?"
Sea eagles begin to descend onto the valley, causing awe among the onlookers. The rotor bdes blow away everything around them, creating a cloud of smoke with the characteristic gray color and two rotors reminiscent of legendary creatures. The symbols on the aircraft include one with a red circle and others with stars in the middle of the circle with three stripes.
Gradually, the doors on these monstrous creatures open, revealing people dressed in green and somewhat sandy-yellow military uniforms with bck and yellow spots on their outfits. These individuals wear full-face masks, yellow hats, and appear to be unarmed, holding short staff-like objects with the heads directed towards the sandy yellow ground. The tops, although slightly different in uniforms, hats, and staffs, look remarkably coordinated. They move away from the sea eagles with highly organized actions.
In the first row, a person in white and two in yellow approach Prime Minister Kanata. The royal guards immediately assume defensive postures, but unfortunately, one of the newbies is still looking bewildered. The mysterious individuals poke a mirror into him and proceed to walk through the entire line of guards while using a smaller stick to point at the individuals in armor. The guards are tense, but then one of the unfamiliar figures lifts a mysterious box and says:
"All green, sir, ready for contact. Over."
Then, a response comes from the box:
"Roger that Dagger. All units, it's safe. Take off your mask, Marine, and enjoy the fresh air of the new continent."
They start speaking a strange nguage. Surprisingly, the "non-human" entities turn back towards the sea eagles, and at the same time, those in green reveal their faces. They have a full range of skin tones, from light to dark. Those in white begin to unfasten their uniforms, revealing two men in extremely stylish and elegant clothing. They approach Prime Minister Kanata, and it seems they are unarmed, so the soldiers rex. One of the strangers says something to the person next to them, and the companion speaks up:
"Hello, apologies for our earlier actions. It was a simple health check. Let me introduce, the person next to me is Ambassador Rodolfo Chavez, representing the United Nations of the United States. I am Rebecca Owens, his interpreter."
Due to Prime Minister Kanata's proficiency in the Elysian nguage from his early days and the longevity of the Elf species, it's no surprise that he reads, hears, and understands very well. Kanata smiles and begins to introduce himself.
"I am Prime Minister Kanata, and the person next to me is Deputy Foreign Minister Rinsui. We understand your actions earlier, so there's no need to worry."
This statement surprises both the Ambassador and the interpreter. Afterward, the Ambassador asks Kanata to board the V-22.
"Do you mind boarding our aircraft, sir? We'll have a few of your knights join us."
Without hesitation, Prime Minister Kanata decides to board the V-22 of the Earthlings. After that, the knights accompany Prime Minister Kanata and Rinsui onto the V-22, positioned in the middle of the formation, alongside the Japanese soldiers. The doors of the aircraft close, leaving the Qua Toyne soldiers bewildered. Then, the interpreter requests everyone to take their seats. The Qua Toyne soldiers quickly secure themselves with the provided restraints and prepare for takeoff.
The sound of the V-22 engines begins to roar, and the Qua Toyne soldiers outside step back, watching them start to lift off. Prime Minister Kanata and Rinsui begin to feel weightless, matching the anxious mood of the Qua Toyne soldiers. The V-22 begins to ascend and reaches a height where their two wings can switch to a tilt-rotor flight mode, soaring out of Qua Toyne to the amazement of those below as well as those inside the V-22 looking out through the windows.
After a brief flight
In just a few minutes, they arrived in the vicinity of Fleet 7 with the warships of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force. The Prime Minister and others gazed out. Before them y a series of sea fortresses, a literal fortress on the sea, a breathtaking sight that left everyone in awe. Although there were Qua Toyne warships, they were nothing compared to the vessels of these individuals. The crews of Qua Toyne were in disarray, except for Mr. Kanata, who remained composed.
Rinsui excimed, "These people are truly formidable. They possess colossal creatures, like isnds, and iron birds that fly at dizzying speeds like this?! Prime Minister, do we have any hope?"
Meanwhile, in the cockpit, the pilot began communicating with the aircraft carrier Izumo.
"Honshu 1-1 to JS Kaga, requesting permission to nd, over," the Japanese pilot reported.
Kaga's command center responded, "Permission granted. You are cleared to nd on deck number 3."
The three U.S. VTOLs started redirecting towards their amphibious assault ship, and two Japanese ones began the nding process on the helicopter carrier Kaga. Two sea eagles smoothly initiated their nding maneuvers. After touching down, the engines of these monstrous birds gradually powered down, and the hatches opened. Japanese soldiers emerged, clearing the way for Prime Minister Kanata of the Kingdom of Qua Toyne. As the Qua Toyne delegation stepped out, they saw soldiers and a few figures in bck standing before them, with gray-colored birds of a peculiar form in the background. These included F-35s on the deck and several V-22s from the Japan Self-Defense Forces.
Rahm Emmanuel, the U.S. Ambassador to Japan, and Japanese diplomat Kawahara Tatsuya, were discussing the newcomers.
"Hmm... I never expected our interpreters to identify their nguage within minutes. It's amusing that they speak Hebrew, and as for the other nguages, we're at a loss. Sending Chavez was a gesture of goodwill; I'm not sure if it was really necessary," Ambassador Emmanuel stated.
Japanese diplomat Tatsuya, with a slender figure and proficient in English, didn't need an interpreter, "Honestly, these individuals are aware and show no intention of engaging in hostilities on their home turf right now. That's a wise choice. Moreover, they surprised me with how modern they behave, given their technological level." It's not uncommon for the Japanese to prioritize demeanor over everything, even though they are the higher beings.
The diplomatic delegation stepped out of the V-22, encountering their counterparts. The Qua Toyne people began surveying the surroundings, with Rinsui and Kanata leading the way. The U.S. Ambassador and Japanese diplomat approached, initiating the greetings.
"Greetings, Prime Minister Kanata and Diplomat Rinsui. I am Rahm Emmanuel, the U.S. Ambassador to Japan, and beside me is Japanese Diplomat Kawahara Tatsuya. Today, we are here to establish diplomatic retions with your nation," Emmanuel said, extending his hand. Prime Minister Kanata was surprised by the gesture, as such greetings were unprecedented on the continent of Rodenius. Understanding the significance, Kanata quickly shook hands with Emmanuel, followed by Rinsui and Emmanuel. The first diplomatic establishment on Elysia by Earth's representatives began at this moment.
Langley, Virginia, United States
At the CIA intelligence agency's headquarters, Director William J Burn engaged in conversation with operative Edward Harrison.
Operative Harrison said, "Ever since the world underwent a shift, my kids keep compining that they can't access the apps from China," expressing frustration. In contrast, the Director chuckled.
"Seems like raising kids is tougher than I thought," he said with a sarcastic tone. Operative Harrison replied, "Yeah, you bet. I might just put them through some military training."
Interrupting their conversation, a person entered from outside, disrupting their discussion. Operative Harrison gnced at the Director and said, "Looks like you have a guest; we'll catch up ter." The Director agreed, and the operative silently exited, passing by Operative Keaman. Operative Aaron Keaman looked back at the departing operative and then entered the room. The online meeting with Operative Dean Fetcher in Pakistan commenced.
"Satellite images reveal that a sailing ship attacked a small fishing boat off the coast of Pakistan, and it seems they've captured all the crew members," Operative Aaron Keaman reported. On the other side of the screen, Operative Fletcher added, "Pakistan managed to rescue a lucky fisherman who survived the attack. He stated that the assaints were dressed in military uniforms resembling those of 18th-century soldiers. From his account, it seems they closely resemble French soldiers from the time of Napoleon."
CIA Director William J Burn read the report, furrowing his brow at the information received. This wasn't the first time Earth's ships were attacked like this. Disappearances had spiked since the Light event, making maritime security of global nations more precarious than ever.
"Finally, we have an answer to the mysterious disappearances of Pakistani fishing vessels. Simir incidents are occurring in several countries," Operative Aaron responded, adding, "The Pakistani government seems to be reacting slower than we anticipated. They could have protected these people from these groups if they deployed patrol boats immediately."
The Director quickly replied, "Alright, Fetcher, I need you to monitor every activity in the area, and I'll inform the White House to be more vigint against these groups. These forces could pose a direct threat to our maritime security and interests. Now, I'll go meet with the President; we may be concluding this."
"Yes, Director," and immediately exited the meeting.
The Director turned to Operative Keaman, "Anything else aside from that?"
Operative Keaman responded, "Apart from the Pakistani incident, we have unwelcome guests from the U.S. West Coast. Our Arleigh Burke-css destroyer approached and escorted them to the Kitsap military base in Washington state. Fortunately, they showed goodwill and agreed to dock. Additionally, satellite surveilnce shows several ships approaching North America and South America."
William dispyed concern for these individuals, "Well... we'll be busy with unexplored information about this new world, especially with our recent contact with extraterrestrials in Asia. Deploy our operatives to Kitsap military base."
Operative Keaman sighed and replied, "If only we had handled this sooner than the NSA and FBI."
William expressed dissatisfaction, "Damn it, alright, just do your best, Aaron."
Afternoon, Military Port Kitsap
At dawn, en route to the military port, two Chevy SUVs carried CIA intelligence agents and a security team consisting of operative Cirilo Virgen of Mexican origin, operative Alfie Reid, and Sergeant Reyes Guerra. Inside the vehicles, the three engaged in conversation.
Alfie Reid reported, "According to the Herotodus campaign report, these Aliens speak Hebrew from Israel. No idea what those we're about to meet will be saying."
Upon hearing this, Reyes Guerra smirked and commented, "The nguage of those Israelis, huh? They probably had to go into exile like their ancestors, right?"
Cirilo Virgen, the driver, retorted, "Hey, don't be overly negative. That's probably why you got punched by those Jewish guys in the agency, big brother," and chuckled sarcastically.
In response, Reyes Guerra sharply retorted, "However you want it. Just don't let me send you to join your ancestors."
After chatting for a while, they arrived at the entrance of the Kitsap military port. Numerous military vehicles and soldiers stood there, more crowded than usual. As they reached the gate, two guards stepped forward and began the identity verification procedure.
The sergeant asked, "Please confirm your identities." Meanwhile, the other guard held a scanning device and checked under the vehicles.
Cirilo Virgen raised his identification wallet and pointed to the back, "The one behind us is the SAT operatives; let them in, Sergeant."
The sergeant gnced at the higher-ranking officer, nodded, and quickly responded, "You may proceed," and the security gate opened.
The two vehicles entered. They soon reached the rendezvous point with the extraterrestrial ships. Within minutes of their arrival, the two Chevy SUVs were parked just outside the alien ship area, and everyone disembarked, walking towards the spacecraft. Alfie Reid was surprised by the appearance of the alien vessel.
"What the hell... Did these extraterrestrials design this ancient-looking thing?"
Cirilo Virgen replied, "Indeed, and surprisingly, it's better than our contemporary ships."
Afterward, they advanced, leading the military convoy with a group of soldiers and some NSA vehicles blocking the path to the spacecraft, observing how they parked in a disorderly manner. Suddenly, a marine scene with a sergeant waiting for them appeared. He turned and saw the CIA team, approaching to greet them.
"Well, it seems the CIA team is here, right?" The sergeant asked.
Operative Cirilo Virgen responded, "That's correct. Anything you need to check, Sergeant?"
The sergeant replied, "No. I am Sergeant Vdimir Gabriel. Please follow me, this way." He led them while muttering:
"Damn, now even the CIA is getting involved in this. Well, good luck enjoying this with the FBI and NSA. I heard both sides are about to start shooting each other."
"Besides, yesterday the CBRN Force (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) just arrived, and they tore up this pce as if a pandemic is about to happen. Fortunately, these extraterrestrials don't have diseases we haven't encountered. In addition, we've provided them with makeshift shelters over there." Sergeant Gabriel pointed to four tents designated for the extraterrestrials, currently guarded by armed soldiers.
Alfie Reid inquired, "Did your infantry determine the nguage these marine soldiers speak?"
The sergeant responded, "They speak Hebrew as the international nguage of this world. But specifically, their official nguage is English. Oh, and they come from a country called Mu."
Upon hearing this, Operative Cirilo Virgen burst into ughter, hugged his stomach, and replied, "Damn, now Man United fans have invaded the whole pnet? They come into a cave and all the way here to establish a nation. I respect them for that."
"By the way, how many of them are there?"
"About 17 people, that's all I know. Finding out more is your job, so good luck to you," and Sergeant Gabriel gave instructions for the tent guards to allow them in.
