In the middle of the bridge of the Venator Star Destroyer stood Commodore Aric von Falkenstein. He is a rge man in his mid-20s, with yellow hair and a scar on the right side of his face that runs from his chin across his cheek to his ear. His arms crossed tightly behind his back, he stands there and controls everything that happens on the bridge.
"Commodore. We're getting a message from Coruscant." Shouted Lt. Hofer from the communion trench area.
Commodore Aric von Falkenstein turns to the communications officer and looks at him with a stern expression. Lieutenant Hofer's forehead begins to sweat, and he becomes unsure whether he has said something wrong. If you focus on the Commodore's face for too long, you get the feeling that his blue eyes will light up. Finally, Aric von Falkenstein breaks eye contact with Lieutenant Hofer and says to him as he turns around.
"Lieutenant, redirect the message to the communications room. I don't want to be disturbed!"
Without waiting for an answer from the lieutenant, Commodore Aric von Falkenstein makes his way to the communications room, which is located directly behind the bridge. Not even two minutes ter, after he had cleared the communications room, the hologram of Admiral Austin Bentkof appeared. He was a fat older man who had not reached this rank through his skills, but through his political influence and, above all, that of his family.
"Commodore Aric, I have good news for you. You are being promoted to Vice Admiral and Governor of Astralis VI." Bentkof said in a gloating tone. "You're lucky to have been promoted after the embarrassment that happened to your father in the Mandalore sector. He just lost his imperial star destroyer to simple pirates."
Aric replies without making a face: "I have understood, and I am going to my new area of operation at the earliest possible time. Do I retain command of my ship?"
The admiral replied, annoyed: "Yes, you'll keep your ship and even get support. For whatever reason. You don't really need them but never mind. You'll be assigned to Taskforce 126. However, this also serves as a defense fleet for your pnet and your system. Everything else is in your orders, which you will receive. Goodbye and don't die so quickly in the Outer Rim."
The admiral ended the conversation in a huff, having received no satisfaction from the son of his former rival. He turned around and walked calmly to the communication terminal on the wall. He downloaded the new commands and went into his private chamber to look at them in peace.
When he finally arrived and sat down on the chair behind the gray table, he started ughing like crazy. The ughter only stopped after six minutes because he couldn't breathe, otherwise he would probably have continued ughing and spoke in a half-ugh.
"Those fools, idiots. This will completely disrupt my pns. But what the hell. I'll just have to adjust my pns and bring some of them forward. On the plus side, I'll have my own system and it'll be in the Outer Rim. I can take my time to prepare for the colpse of the Empire. So, I still have 23 years until Endor. Enough time to bunker down."
What no one knows about Commodore Aric von Falkenstein is that he is a human from Earth who was reborn in the Star Wars universe. He died at the age of 37 in a car accident on the way back from a movie. A special about the Star Wars films Episode I to Episode VI ran all day in the movie theater. Not only were they shown, but new outtakes and scenes that didn't make it into the movie were also shown.
He was born 44 years BBY on Anaxes into a rich family. He was lucky, because things could have been much worse for him, such as being a sve on Nal Hutta. Nevertheless, his childhood was not really nice. Although he knew early on that he had been reborn in Star Wars, his childhood was characterized by internal power struggles in the family and strict discipline, and he was therefore unable to really enjoy his childhood in the new universe. Eventually he had enough and applied to join the Judicial forces at 15 so that he could rise quickly when the war began. This pleased his family, the von Falkenstein family, as they had a long Navy tradition, and it was mandatory to join the Anaxes Self-Defense Fleet at the age of 18 and serve for 5 years.
When the Clone Wars finally started in 22 BBY, Aric von Falkenstein was in a position where he could rise quickly and was appointed Commodore of a Venator Star Destroyer by the end of the war.
POV Commodore Aric von Falkenstein
After I had calmed down, I calmly read through my new orders. I was transferred to the Perinn sector in the Outer Rim. You could call it Wild Space, but it's still technical part of the Outer Rim. In short, I was to become governor of Astralis IV and administer the pnet and the system in which the pnet is located. So, I was banished to the ass end of the universe without much chance of advancement. Taskforce 126 was pced under my command, as a vice admiral must have a taskforce, if not a fleet. The Bentkof family didn't want to make it easy for their rival family, me, so they gave me a task force made up of old ships. Because of that the 126 consisted only of Clone Wars era ships.

A good flotil if you add my Venator. However, I would prefer a more modern fleet, as this area is teeming with criminal organizations and pirates. At the same time, it's all former CIS territory and there are still strongholds there that give the Empire a hard time.
After all, the Bentkof family didn't think their intrigue through to the end, as they gave me the title of Governor of Astralis IV for life. I'm sure they thought that would get rid of me for good. The good thing is that the Empire can't take the pnet away from me until I die, because the order came from the emperor himself. Austin Bentkof must have given up a lot of political capital for imperator Palpatine to give the order personally. So, I can safely put my personal fortune into the pnet, as the pnet is mine from now on.
So off to Anaxes to collect everything important for the new post. I grabbed my comlink and contacted the bridge.
"Captain Nivas, we have new orders. Set a course for Anaxes and prepare the ship so that we are fully equipped when we leave for the Perinn sector."
Well then, let's see what information there is about Astralis IV in the Imperial archives. I notice a little jolt and turn to the window and see the typical blue color when you're in hyperspace. Only 2 more days until Anaxes and another 6 days until we reach Astralis IV.
I don't have that much time to prepare everything.
