Chapter 1: Damn It! Am I Really the Villain?!(Censored version)

  "Argg..."

An abnormally sharp pain forced me to wake up; I felt a twinge in my head, as if someone had hit me over and over again.

"Ugh... I shouldn't have drunk so much."

I slowly opened my eyes, dispelling all those invasive thoughts that were swirling around in my head. With my mind a little clearer, a shocking sight greeted me instantly.

  ...Huh?

White sheets slid down my completely naked torso. Next to me, wrapped in the crumpled fabric, lay a silver-haired woman staring at me with an intense and unsettling gaze.

  "Gulp..." I swallowed hard.

  Shit!

What the hell happened last night? I wondered, clinging to the vague memory of my return home. Had it all been an illusion? No, this was no time for that. I tried to sit up quickly, but my body didn't respond. It was completely stiff, as if it didn't belong to me.

  "Ah...?"

There it was again, that irritating mechanical sound whispering in my ear. I thought it was just a dream, my subconscious trying to wake me up. Before I could determine the source of the noise, a strange modulated voice came out of my mouth, beyond my control:

"Why are you still here? I don't remember giving you permission to stay."

As soon as I finished speaking, my body moved on its own, as if it had a will of its own. I sat up and reached out, grabbing the girl's wrist firmly. With one tug, I pulled her out of bed.

The sheets slipped away, and for a few seconds, her figure was exposed to the cold light of the room.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

My body remained motionless. For a few seconds, as if savouring the moment, I could even feel a slight—and disturbing—pang of satisfaction.

What the hell is going on? I thought as I looked at the woman next to me.

Her face, her figure... there was no doubt, she was exactly as described.

Silver hair, light topaz eyes, and a calm expression that radiated purity.

  "Su Liang'er."

The eldest daughter of the Su family.

And the fiancée of the protagonist of the novel: "Betrayed Son-in-law Rises".

  「Assimilation rate – 35%.」

Why is this woman in my bed?

Is it even possible... or is it a lucid dream?

Chaos swirled in my mind, but in complete contrast, my mouth continued to move eloquently.

"I didn't know you were so desperate that you would give yourself to me."

The sound of my own voice chilled my blood.

  Wait... This conversation...

  No.

  It can't be.

A memory struck me deeply. A scene. A dialogue I had read over and over again.

  Don't tell me that...

  "Now you are mine."

  "Now you are mine."

A chill ran down my spine when my mouth uttered the exact same words.

  "From this moment on..."

  "From this moment on..."

My breathing became heavy, almost uncontrollable, although outwardly there was not the slightest disturbance.

  "You belong to me."

  "You belong to me."

Every sentence that came out of my mouth brought with it a precise image. An exact moment from the novel. It was no coincidence.

I remembered it clearly. It was a key moment in the story: the moment when the protagonist loses his fiancée.

If there had been any hint of doubt before, it was now gone.

The voice that came out of my throat belonged to Qin Moshen.

The young master of the Qin family.

A man whose polite smile was just a facade to hide his venom.

  「Assimilation rate – 73%.」

The constant mechanical noise brought me back to reality. I looked at her again.

Her expression was full of hatred, as if she wanted to kill me with just her gaze, but her body remained rigid, trapped in helplessness. That obvious contradiction awakened something deep within me.

A strange, cold, possessive desire seeped through my veins.

I wrapped my hand around her wrist again. With a sharp tug, I pulled her forcefully towards my chest.

"Hey," a cry of surprise escaped her lips.

She struggled, but it was useless. Her blows against my chest were nothing more than the fluttering of a wounded bird.

  "You're... a bastard."

Words laden with hatred escaped from her weak mouth.

However, I did not loosen my grip. On the contrary, I increased the force.

  "No... no..." she whispered softly.

Her breathing became agitated and uncontrollable.

  "...ah."

I took her by the nape of her neck and kissed her.

  「Assimilation rate – 81%.」

  Knock, knock.

The dull thud on the door snapped me out of my daze.

Confusion hit me hard; for a moment, I experienced the terrifying sensation that my consciousness was being devoured. I was a spectator trapped in my own flesh: I saw everything that was happening and could even feel every sensation vividly, but I had no control. I couldn't restrain myself.

Liang'er took advantage of my confusion to break free with a desperate tug. She pulled away so abruptly that she ended up collapsing on the floor, exhausted by the momentum. She lay there, panting, her eyes filled with rage and frustration, while the silence was broken only by the sound of the door.
