Nazarick is full of evil creatures, there's a good chance they like the idea of Nazis. I however, do not.
==========
A boisterous voice rang out.
"HE-LLOOOOOO—"
Lord Ainz closed his eyes. Antikythera noticed. Hm, the Supreme One must be thinking about how much of a threat the enemy posed for him to release his very creation from the confines of Nazarick's vaults. The Automaton silently sympathized, as he too knew of the dangers posed by the unknown variables out in the world, and though adding more to their workforce may potentially leave Nazarick defenseless, it was a necessary course of action that may determine whether they win or lose.
"—EVERYBODY!" Something sprung from the darkness, his over-exaggerated movements making his leg bend longer than it should, and when he stopped, his body sprung back and forth. Wobbling. "I AM—PANDORA'S—ACTOR! I greet thee!"
"Uwaaaa~" Shizu said from the side, cpping. From the sidelines, Ainz's mouth went agape at the sight of the maid's reaction. No one noticed this. Shizu's eyes shone, He's so cool!"
Antikythera no longer had his eyes on the Supreme One and instead focused solely on Pandora's Actor. The rumors had been correct. The guardian of the treasury was a doppelg?nger. The uniform he wore was familiar to Antikythera, though the corrupted memories in his databanks did not give him beyond surface-level information. The Automaton knew that what Pandora's Actor was wearing was a Neo-Nazi uniform. Truly, Pandora's Actor was the embodiment of evil.
"Your clothes, Pandora's Actor," Antikythera pointed at the doppelg?nger, "they fit you. The inspiration behind them is quite fascinating, and I feel that it is something I would like to implement in my designs."
"Antikythera?!" Lord Ainz suddenly shouted. Everyone turned to the Overlord. He had left his seat, but his hands were gripping the sides of it tightly. "Can you eborate?" Lord Ainz said in a cool tone, clearing his throat. "I just wish to know more about why you decided to do this."
"Allow me to expin," Antikythera nodded. "I am aware that the group which has inspired Pandora's Actor's uniform is the Nazi party, and judging by their past actions, I believe that such things fit Nazarick's standards of operations. You yourself have designed him this way, Lord Ainz. I will not be taking credit for it."
"You can take credit for it, Antikythera!" The Overlord suddenly excimed. The Automaton touched his heart in gratitude—truly, Lord Ainz was kind. His generosity knew no bounds, and he was so magnanimous that he was willing to give someone as lowly as Antikythera credit for his own design? No! Antikythera would not let Lord Ainz's idea be in vain! It shall be known by everyone how smart he was!
"Lord Ainz, I cannot realistically do this—"
"It's fine. This is an order." The Overlord deadpanned. He faced Pandora's Actor. "Please don't go telling everyone how cool your outfit is."
"Yes, Father!" Pandora's Actor saluted his creator. "Ich werde Ihrem Befehl mit gr??ter Aufrichtigkeit folgen!"
"...Don't just randomly speak German either."
"Hai!"
Antikythera tilted his head. Was Lord Ainz telling his creation to calm down? "Pandora's Actor, have you heard of the situation?"
Demiurge had an 'ah!' expression as he caught on to what Antikythera was implying. "I would love to hear your thoughts on the recent developments, assuming Albedo has told you?"
They all turned to the Overseer, who shook her head. She sniffed, and Lord Ainz looked slightly guilty at the sight of it. "I haven't told him about it yet. I was preoccupied with something while at the vault."
"The mausoleum." Pandora's Actor grabbed his hat and rested it on his chest. "The pce where the Supreme Beings rest. It is I who guards their items and their statues and thus have seen it multiple times."
"And Amanomahitotsu?" Antikythera asked suddenly. "Surely he's not there?" How could his creator die, after all? It didn't make sense. It simply didn't. He refused to believe that Lord Amano was sitting there in that tomb. "I see no way of him dying."
"Even Lord Touch Me is there," Pandora's Actor informed rather than answered Antikythera directly. Though his reply in itself was an answer—if even the strongest within Nazarick was sitting there, what could the other Supreme Beings possibly do?
"...I see." Antikythera's tone shifted into one of sadness. He defted. "...I did not know of this. Thank you for telling me, Pandora's Actor." Antikythera bowed, an action only done by organics, but he felt it was appropriate here. "I see now why Lord Ainz has not given any of us permission to enter the treasury."
"I did not know if it was the time to tell any of you," Lord Ainz sounded like he was eating something bitter. "I have lied, and I admit to my mistake. I am sorry for keeping this from everyone until now."
Antikythera nodded. He could understand why it was kept secret. He definitely could. Still, did his creator not leave him? And if this was the case, did it mean something out there killed Lord Amanomahitotsu? Antikythera clenched his fists. "Can I ask who killed my creator, Lord Ainz?"
Antikythera's decration caused a wave of fire to erupt within everyone's eyes. They all waited with bated breath for their remaining master to speak, but the answer they had been seeking did not come as they expected it to be.
"He's not dead. It's just that he left YGGDRASIL to go somewhere else." Lord Ainz looked wistful. He sounded happy, and Antikythera knew then that he was reminiscing about the times after Lord Amanomahitotsu left the Nine Realms. "He's still somewhere out there. I know it."
"That makes sense." Antikythera looked Demiurge, Albedo, and Pandora's Actor in the eyes. They all shared a silent sentiment: the Supreme Beings were not dead, merely transferred like they had been. "We will search for the ones responsible for bringing us here, even if it means we have to turn this entire world over."
Lord Ainz cleared his throat. "Umu. You do that." The Overlord nodded. "For now, let us all go back to our business at hand: how do we deal with Shalltear? I have brought out World Items to counteract the effects of the one which mind-controlled her, but we still need to take her out."
"We can use Sakai's scouts to check the surrounding area for any interference. I fear that the humans might be able to notice our upcoming battle, however. It is rather close to that city you have chosen as the base of operations for your adventurer persona." Antikythera suggested.
"Hm, I'll see if I can get the Adventurer's Guild to accept Momon as the one who will take on the rabid vampire in the forest."
Antikythera chuckled along with the other guardians at their Lord's little joke. Shalltear was rather rabid, wasn't she? Demiurge spoke up. "I think we should also see how much Shalltear has changed after being taken over. Is she still the same when battling, or has her capacity for thinking during a fight greatly diminished?"
"Hm, that's a good idea." Lord Ainz nodded. "If this is the World Item that I think it is, then Shalltear should be as powerful and competent as she was before being mind-controlled. But it looks like it got stopped halfway through. I didn't know this could happen, but I think it's better if we check just how far this affected her."
"If I may, Lord Ainz—what if I debut right here and now and pretend that Shalltear is someone I know? Someone Momon also knows?" Demiurge smirked. "I believe my idea has merit. Several strong individuals who know each other suddenly appearing but—we are fractured. In the open, we are enemies, but in truth, we are allies."
"Different factions and people will see us differently," Albedo nodded.
"And it may even cause some of the powerful beings present in this world to think of some of us as allies," Antikythera chimed in.
"That settles it, then. We'll do that." Lord Ainz stood up. "Do whatever it is you three need to do. I will go to E-Rantel and meet you all where Shalltear is."
