Ruin - Epilogue

My queen, the plan proceeds. We push closer to destiny.

Very good, Lord Scieth. And how goes the war?

The Federation has been wiped from the history books. Even now, Hurria burns and the survivors are being hunted and eliminated. Never again will their impudence pollute our world. Soon, we turn north to the Protectorate’s lands.

  And the casualties?

Over one hundred thousand Alliance dead. Nearly that many wounded.

If you come across this story on Amazon, it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.

I don’t care about their numbers! They are like rodents. For each one killed, ten more will breed to take their place. Tell me of our own losses.

Yes, my Prophetess. Seven thousand lost, almost entirely from our third air corps. The Federation emplacements were formidable and the first and second corps took some losses but, in the end, it was not nearly enough to stop us. However, on the left flank-

Yes, I know what happened. It seems the primes of air, earth, and fire made an appearance. No matter though. Their lines were still crushed.

Do you think they survived, my queen?

  Oh indeed they did.

Pardon my impudence but, how can you be sure?

Oh my dear Scieth, you really must expand your mind. Get out of the present and start to think upon the future. They are alive. Each of them is vital to the prophecy after all. They must be kept alive...for now, to advance it. Oh how little they know of what lies ahead. I only hope they survive long enough to find the key for me.

"> Even when I release the book though, I plan to keep this less edited version on RR for you all to enjoy. If anything, it will give you a stark contrast on how much is improved in editing!
