The BULLY KING and soft carpets

Tyler Moore, a name few would remember in history but nonetheless a name those who did would quiver from hearing for years to come. A notorious high-school bully who terrorized 4 schools before he was graciously given an "early" graduation at 22 years of age from his 5th school's profusely sweating principal. The Safekeepers was the group that Tyler created at his first school, a group which developed into becoming a "legal" syndicate storing money from the students, teachers and even parents picking their kids up from school.

For years, Tyler was granted media attention, fandoms and even a poorly made game was made by an online fan circuit. As Tyler never openly commited a crime nor any evidence more than rumors and complaints ever came to light, the authorities could never really punish him.

Tyler's legend had become a trend in schools by the time he was 25, with copycats and other hooligans gaining traction from the media instead.

"Mhm, learn from the best kids, but a few of you crooks actually got caught.. Amateurs."

By the time Tyler reached 28, things had died down, and a badly educated orphan living in a single room apartment soon realized that all that money he had been safekeeping from his fellow students had all but disappeared into food, rent and an unnecessary car purchase. An old friend from The Safekeepers had come to visit a week earlier. The visit wasn't particularly pleasant as he had come with some of his fellow thugs demanding money for his new boss.

A trashed apartment and a few bruises later, Tyler was ousted by the landlord and his future was starting to look bleak.

"This fuckin' society where you either bend to their liking or rob people and get jailed, there's no freedom except the word."

Deep in debt, the 29 year old Tyler had finally found a stable job at a construction site from a shady drug contact. Meager pay and a dangerous work environment became the new norm. His co-workers were mostly bald guys in their 40s, trying to recruit guys like that for lackeys was a fool's errand without any weak targets to bully.

One day after work, Tyler lay on his bed with a bandaged hand, if anyone was in the room they would be repulsed by the heavy smell of alcohol and whatever drugs they could identify in the room. It was a mess, and Tyler was even worse smelling than his room at this point.

  "Aaaah these fuckin' people.."

"Fuckin' raising their prices when I know Dan gets his stuff way cheaper.."

  "Better show'em tomorrow heh.."

Soon all that could be heard was drunken mumblings and snoring.

No alarm clock went off the next morning, but Tyler woke up from sunrays shining at his eyes. Sunrays which should never reach his eyes as his shitty apartment had no windows.

"WHO?" Tyler jumps up from the bed, feeling fresh and strong unlike most other days.

"Where the hell am I? Those fuckers take me away somewhere?!?"

A distinct pain in his head made him fall back on the bed.

  -81

  -70

Thrashing his head around from the pain, he quickly found out that his new walls were made of stone.

  -216

Groaning with closed eyes, he soon regained some degree of focus.

"THE BALLS IS THIS?" Tyler was starting to SERIOUSLY panic, but was interrupted by a harsh voice of some middle aged man.

"SHUT UP you brat, you've been making sounds for the past 20 minutes now!"

For some reason, he felt like that voice was normal to him. A feeling that was soon understood as a name popped up in his head, Michael Schultz, as well as.. Dad?

Calming down a bit while getting even more confused, he remembered the blue window popping up in his head.

"...What the fuck is a Brain Worm, what is a Level 7 and how did the pain go away so quickly if I got a concussion?"

  "... .....System?.."

  -

"Okay, so it ain't some kind of stuff like those novels Carl showed me in Mistral High.."

  "...Menu?"

  "FUCK."

A strange feeling of fear for the unknown was starting to creep up his spine at this point, but even more so the adrenaline of the situation making him feel his blood pump in his temples.

"At least they got Tyler right. BULLY KING, The one and only."

"Oof, saying it out loud brings up the information, definitely not dreaming or on drugs right now."

"Heh, those guys brought it in the past and they better keep doing it when I figure out what's going on."

The surreal situation starting to properly dawn on Tyler, he starts thinking seriously for the first time in over 6 years.

"Hmm, let's see how this shit works.. There's different colors for some of the stuff, and I presume the HP means i'm damaged because I feel like I just got wrecked."

  "JOB"

"Heh, Young Master when i'm over 30, color's even purple whatever that means. Since i'm guessing that I just got reincarnated or something into a rich dude, I gotta say he's doing a good job so far. He's got a gang by the looks of it, a comfy bed already sampled, Brain Worms in his head.."

  "TITLE"

"Hmm, judging by the numbers the colors seem to represent how good something is, perhaps rarity? Obviously BULLY KING. Me. The one and only would be the best of the bunch."

"Bodybuilder to impress the ladies, Lackeys to make my work look good.. It's a shame this kid probably died with how great his track record is starting to look, but at least he got the great me to complete his legacy."

Not knowing anything of.. Anything so far, Tyler was still starting to get a good feeling for what he was seeing.

  "PE.."

"TYLER!" came the shout of some lady.. Samantha Schultz.. Mom?

  'Fuck..' "Ye?"

"You've been in your room for 3 hours at this point, the food is already stone cold by now and if you don't eat, don't blame me for your own health."

'Hooly shit this woman.. Wait why am I angry?' "Sorry, I'm busy for just a few more minutes"

  "PER.."

"WHAT?, disobedience is one thing but making ME wait? Just because you're my kid doesn't mean that the Schultz' can allow this kind of disrespect in the house."

'Uhh.. That's why I'm supposed to get angry..' "Sorry, I'm coming right now"

Seemingly pleased, the shouting stopped. Tyler grabbed a pair of silk trousers and a.. robe laying beside his bed and got out of the room. He got a homely feeling but his thoughts were completely different. 'Wow, this place is nuts.. Arched marble ceiling, polished floor, mm soft carpet.. not a speck of dust.'

The house he was in was beautifully decorated with ornate silverware on polished wood, aesthetically pleasing color balance between the dark brown wood, light grey patterned marble, gold lined red carpets, shining silverware and gold pots and a few display cases with ornate swords and daggers.

Reaching the dining room, a 30ish looking lady was standing looking down at what seemed like a servant cleaning the nonexistent specks of dust away.

"Finally you're here. SERVANTS come out with my son's meal! I've been so worried little Tylie, you're usually never in your room, did anything happen? Tell mother."

'Oh gods almighty, what the fuck is this? You lucky bastard died off leaving me with this? I'll take back whatever I thought of you before and simply praise you for lasting 21 years'

"Nothing is wrong, I was just having a small headache but it's ov.."

"A Headache? SERVANTS bring my son some medicine, WHERE'S THAT MEAL I ASKED FOR?"

A poor servant in rags ran in with a plate of food, almost stumbling on the carpet.

'Mhm, a proper bully victim, that one'

Another servant quickly came with a vial of some sort, which 'mother' quickly snatched out of her hand. A pill looking awfully similar to an antibiotic pill fell into her hand from the vial, which she gave to Tyler. All taking place in less than a second.

'Damn, she's that worried over just a small "headache"? What would happen if I ACTUALLY got injured?'

Tyler swallowed the "Antibiotic" pill and immediately felt whatever remnant pain previously plagued his head vanish.

Looking pleased, Samantha gestured towards the food and left the room.

"Tyler, don't forget to show those Hauberg upstarts in the eastern district their place tomorrow. There's been complaints regarding their business for weeks now."

  "...Yeah.. sure, no problems"

Tyler started eating the - surprisingly tasty food before wondering whatever the hell he'd experienced today.

  "Finally.. PERKS"

'Yeesh that's a lot, better go for a good nap before thinking anymore about this.'

'I wonder what my gang is called here..'
