Remington sat back down to listen to the rest of the surprise music.

  “This is a story about how I've come to a point in my life where I want to become the best version of myself just to love Mystery the way he deserves. It's taken a long time to get to this point but here we are. When I first fell in love with you Mystery you made me feel something amazing that I cannot even explain, it was just otherworldly’.”

  Demetri began the premade keyboard piece while playing violin along with it. Alt added drums and Maxwell added bass.

  Vezaias sang the lyrics about being so in love with Remington that is was extraordinary. It was emotional and magical. When the song was over Vezaias continued the narrative.

  “Then after I finally had you I lost you and every moment you were gone I suffocated." Vezaias explained. Vezaias now sang I'm Suffocating as Demetri played the piano melody to it. This song was painful and was Vezaias account of the way he had lost Remington for the year during the ghosting. After the song was over Vezaias wiped his tears and continued to narrate the concert.

  “While you were gone I would think about you often. Sometimes while I was at the homeless shelter I would lay down at night trying to sleep but all I could think about was you. I would imagine that I was safe and sound in your arms.”

  The last few lines of the song crushed Remington and he cried silently. Vezaias only continued.

  “But as if by some miracle you came back to me. And we struggled to capture a moment where our love could flourish. Finally I had to take a chance and let go of my fear so I could tell you how I have loved you for a thousand years it seemed and how I will love you for a thousand more if you let me. Everything seemed to have led us up until that very moment on stage at Pistol Whipped.”

  Remington was so emotional now that he could barely contain himself but he was extremely captivated by the music.

  Vezaias kept the music going now.

  There was only a short pause before the next song began.

  When this song ended Vezaias approached Reming who was in awe still sitting on the chair. Vezaias took his hand before speaking into his microphone for everyone to hear.

  “Mystery, you are a sky full of stars, because you make me feel superhuman. You are the Halo that lights my way home, I will love you for a thousand years Mystery because when I'm in your arms I am safe and sound, and you know that I suffocate without you, and our love is absolutely otherworldly, because of that Mystery I have one very important thing to ask you.” Vezaias got down on one knee and reached in his pocket pulling out a small box. The crowd seemed to know what this meant before Remington could comprehend what was happening.

  “You know you belong to me Mystery, forever. You are my best friend and I love you so much. So would you do me the extraordinary honor, and make me the happiest man in the universe, will you marry me?” Vezaias opened the small fancy box that held a bright shimmering gold ring. Remington was speechless and covered his mouth with his hands and gushed with tears. He could barely nod before he thrust himself forward into Vezaias's arms and kissed him urgently.

  “Yes!!!” He paused then returned to kissing Vezaias. “Oh my gosh yes!” Remington sobbed harder, nearly strangling Vezaias. The crowd went wild with excitement. Suddenly Lux and Ephraim were both onstage hugging Remington too. Demetri let the audience know they would take a short break, then everyone headed off stage to soak in the excitement of the engagement.

  “I can't believe you did this, Zay! I was so worried I thought you were angry at me! I thought you were going to break up with me!” Remington sobbed into his shoulder.

  “I wouldn’t do that. I want to be better for you Rem. I knew I had to change my behavior and fix this. I don't want to do anything that will hurt you. So I needed time to myself to figure out how to deal with my personal issues. I am working through it and even though it's not easy for me to deal with, I would do anything no matter how difficult it is, just to make you happy.” Vezaias beseeched. Remington could only sob and nod. Eventually he was able to let go of Vezaias and wipe away his tears.

  “Of course I couldn't forget about Eph, or Lux. I know I hurt you both too and I'm sorry. These songs were just as much about you two, as they were about Rem. Of course there are rules about marrying more than one person but I will still represent my love for you both by giving you the same ring that I gave Rem.” He pulled out two more boxes and opened them to show Eph and Lux matching rings. They both eager accepted the rings as Vezaias slipped the rings on their fingers. The concert continued returning back to their normal set of music and eventually the band was finished and headed backstage to do the meet and greet.

  “You were scared?” Remington asked.

  “Of course I was scared.” Vezaias said, holding Remington against his chest.

  “I know you get stage fright, but besides that you never seem to be afraid of anything.” Remington said softly.

  “I’m not a machine Rem.” Vezaias chuckled. “I am afraid of things. Just not typical things like physical pain and violence.”

  “What else are you afraid of?” Remington meeped.

  “Loosing you. That's why when you got mad at me I knew I had to re-evaluate myself, and I wanted to test my willpower first before I tried to promise you that I would change without knowing if I was capable of making the change. I'm sorry that I avoided you but I felt so guilty that I did what I did, then of course I had a heart to heart conversation with Ava that really gave me some perspective.” Vezaias sighed.

  “Oh really?” Remington said curiously.

  “Yeah, apparently I'm exactly like him. Selfish, slutty, callus, manipulative, just an all around shitty person..”

  “No Zay don't say that!” Remington said in a panic.

  “But it's true Rem, you know I'm an asshole, you know I can be a cold hearted bastard, you know that I take what I want without much remorse…that's another reason why I was scared, I mean if I'm such a jerk all the time and I presented you with a choice to decide for certain if you would spend the rest of your life with me, I was afraid you would weigh your options and decide to ditch me again…” Vezaias choked back some tears. Remington grabbed his face and squished his cheeks making eye contact.

  “I wouldn't do that! I love you! I absolutely love your bash personality! I also know you have a soft and loving side and it is amazing whenever you open that side of yourself up to me!” Remington said looking emotional.

  “Rem…” Vezaias said softly.

  “I know you tried to kill yourself by jumping off the bridge. It scares me that I will loose you too.” Remington cringed and dug his face into Vezaias's neck.

  “Rem I want you forever. I need you like the moon needs the stars. I love you.” Vezaias said softly.

  “I need you like the sun needs sky. I love you too, Zay.” Remington said just before urgently kissing Vezaias then advancing their needs quickly. This was the beginning of a long day alone together. Vezaias had decided that once a month he should take a full day to spend with each of his boyfriends. Remington would be the first to get a whole day with Vezaias to himself. Lux and Ephraim would be able to handle things at the base while Vezaias decided that the first thing he and Remington would do was stay in bed extra late just to cuddle and talk to each other which quickly turned into something more satisfying. Afterwards they got out of bed, showered, got dressed and left together to go into town. Of course going into reality would only get them spotted by fans even if they kept a low profile. Vezaias had anticipated this by arranging ahead of time to have bodyguards follow them, which was more for appearance sake because neither of them were threatened by any common human anymore, and also the destinations would be roped off to the public so they could shop in peace. Of course that didn't stop paparazzi from trying to get as close as possible to take pictures of them, or from fans showing up and ogling at them from afar hoping for a selfie and an autograph.

  “I want you to find something nice to wear. It doesn't have to be completely formal but later we are going somewhere special. I am going to find something too then I will meet you at our next destination.” Vezaias said smoothly before kissing him. Remington blushed brightly and was anxious to see where they would go. There was a stylist that helped him get fitted for a nice suit which was something slightly more grunge but formal enough to go to their surprise destination. Vezaias was off on the other side of the store and out of sight so it was a bit nerve racking as he finished getting dressed with nice shoes and his suit, while everything was already paid for then heading to the limousine that was waiting for him. He was driven to a nice banquet hall where after being escorted inside he found the hall was set up like a stereotypical high school dance complete with the theme of ‘Sky Full of Stars’. There was a fancy archway that was decorated with stars while Vezaias stood there waiting for him with an adorable smile. Remington approached with flushed cheeks and the most bashful face that he couldn't help but make.

  “Rem, you said you wanted to go to prom because you never been to a school dance before. So will you do me the honor of being my date to this dance that I made just for you?” Vezaias asked, looking hopeful.

  “Uh…” Remington was a bit speechless. “I mean….of course!” Remington said finally. Vezaias chuckled at him and began to pin a flower on to his suit.

  “You look so handsome Rem.” Vezaias said mildly then taking his hand and intertwining their fingers together.

  “Th..thanks.” He stammered. This was absolutely so over the top. There was a photographer taking pictures as inconspicuously as possible, and lots of people dressed up nice and made to be extras in the background who would dance to the music and look as if they were also here to go to the dance, but at the same time keeping a distance and fading into the background as if they weren't there all the way. Vezaias led Remington out onto the dance floor just as a song began to play. It was one of the love songs his set of music from the night of the proposal. Vezaias pulled Remington against him and began to slow dance with him. Remington sighed deeply and nestled into Vezaias's shoulder breathing in his spicy cologne and wrapping his arms around Vezaias's neck as they swayed to the music.

  “How did you do all of this? I mean the music at the concert, this dance? It's so much.” Remington said looking up at Vezaias feeling overwhelmed.

  “A lot of money, a lot of planning, and hiding everything from you so you wouldn't find out. I asked Dem just after our first concert to compose the new lyrics that I wrote. He handled all of that then wrote out the music for me and Alt, and he taught Maxwell the bass part, after that was handled I told Zach I wanted to plan out a school dance for you. I explained to him the theme I wanted and what it should look like and he handled most of it, I just did all the final approvals of things. It cost a lot of money but it's nice isn't it? Do you like it?” Vezaias said very lovingly. Remington was nearly in tears over how thoughtful and romantic this was.

  “But you shouldn't have spent so much money on me like this. It's so much!” Remington said anxiously. Vezaias chuckled at him.

  “Relax, I've done a lot of planning. I put more than half my money into a high yield savings account. I also invested some, and I made a few important financial decisions. I bought a property that we are going to turn into a recording studio so we will have our own record label. Then we can sign our own bands and record their albums and continue to make money. Zach and Dem are going to be the real brains behind the studio. I am just funding it by purchasing the property and the sound equipment but really the studio is my gift to you. We can talent scout and find some artist worthy of our record label. So even if our band doesn't go much further, we will be alright. I even started a savings account for my brother so if anything happens he will have money to live off of.” Vezaias explained.

  “Wow Zay….you really put a lot of thought into the future.” Remington said in amazement.

  “Rem my father was wealthy, and not really because he made a lot of money, he did, but he was also smart about what to do with all of his money. He was always investing and planning, and saving, whether it was stocks or real estate or whatever would make him more money off of his own money. That's how he made most of his money. Being a damn good attorney was always his true passion but it was also only a jumping off point.” Vezaias sighed.

  “Well I am glad that you are putting so much thought and effort into this.” Remington said.

  “I want to build us a beautiful life Rem. The first 21 years of my life were horrible. I am not going to let that happen from here on out. You deserve to be happy.” Vezaias said seriously. Remington was near tears now. “Hey don't cry, it's alright.” Vezaias said softly while rubbing away Remington's tears for him.

  “I'm just so happy. You are just incredible. Nobody has ever been this good to me.” Remington pouted. He buried his wet face into Vezaias's neck. Vezaias rubbed the back of his head and hugged him tightly.

  “I just want to love my flower properly. I love you like the moon loves the stars Rem.” Vezaias said smoothly.

  “I love you like the sun loves the sky!” Remington said just before they connected at the mouth for a soft but deep kiss.
