The Loom: That which weaves inescapable threads of fate, binding mortals to their purpose. None may sever their threads and cut free from their scripts without leaving themselves at the mercy of entropy.
The Veil: The stormy layer of fog which surrounds the archipelago, demarcating the limits of the mortal interference be it via land, air or sea. Little is known about it except that it cannot be navigated through, leaving a dreary, shady atmosphere for the islands in its wake.
The Overworld: One of many stages, a neutral plane of space where the fates of mortals collide with each other akin to actors following scripts, performing a never-ending play.
The Archipelago: A trio of overworldian island continents in close proximity to each other which make up the major known landmass of Phantasmara. Although there exist other, smaller islands under their wings, these represent the three primary civilizations of the known world.
The Kingdoms: The civilizations which rest upon each of the three continents. Despite their bloodtorn and tumultuous history of wars, people have found safety in these conglomerates.

The Arcana: The lifeblood of all living things, and that which makes mortals capable of bending the world and its elements to their will, ergo, magic.
The Mortals: Denizens of the overworld, fated to follow the will of The Loom. They come in various forms, and yet are all bound by the same stageplay.
Clarisse, the bright-eyed rookie trying to realize her own dream of a grand adventure amidst actors playing spoilsport behind the scenes.
Nikolas, the vengeful rogue who has discarded his script in search for a meaning for existence among the tattered remains of a past filled with lies and regret.
This story follows the journey of these actors across the various stages of Phantasmara, each bringing a new scene to light as the strings change hands to new puppeteers and open curtains to the unknown.
