Morningstar

His Aunt smiled. “I’m so proud of you, Miguel. You never changed who you are.. In here…” she points in his chest, as Miguel smiles. “I know that regardless of what happens to you, you will manage.“

Miguel, sporting the star on his chest, smiled proudly…

  Now… 800-ish years… later…

Several soldiers heard the siren wailing out loud. They pointed each of the barrels of their blasters at the door. The sirens slowly went quieter before shutting down. They silently waited for what was to come, and alas, Mars appeared from the darkness through the aura of his red lightning, breathing heavily in the echo chamber that is his mask.

  Mars sneers. “All hail Morningstar.”

They all fired shots at him. A glassy illusion showed that he wasn’t moving at all, but in reality, he was moving so quickly that all the soldiers in the facility fell to the ground, dead.

Mars menacingly marched into the facility. He snapped his fingers, and there came a trail of blue lightning from behind him that flew by at such tremendous speeds. Each soldier who came by was dispatched by Diana’s quick, thinning blade. She went on zooming around at magnificent speeds. When heavy-duty soldiers appeared in mech suits, they were shot down by quick and efficient needles from Cheapshot, who was behind Mars, and Rasputin froze their faces simply by staring at them.

The doors were forced open by Rasputin, who, with strength, brutally tore off the thick 6-inch-wide door.

There sat a woman at the center of the room with a Salt barrier around her. She wore a handsome business suit, gloves, and high heels, and oddly enough, a German Stormtrooper Gas Mask. She just breathed cool air out of her mouth. She sneered, feeling some warmth approaching her body. “Mars, honey? Be a dear and remove the salt…”

Mars shakes his head. “Beatle’s faith is too strong, my Lord,” said Mars.

She smiled. “Do you have the trident?”

Mars tosses it on the ground, and she smiles as the trident pierces through the barrier. She stood valiantly, cocking her trident and blasting the field away. She successfully eradicates the forcefield.

The woman stood proudly and swayed her hips seductively.

“We have freed you,” said Mars. “It took a long while for us to realize your location was in the space facility perfectly orbiting Earth….” Mars looks at the Earth beneath his feet. “We learned that five meteors have returned to Earth. Those meteors we would learn to have been the-...”

“-Starcross Crusaders…” she grinds her teeth together, angrily baring her fangs. She sniffed hungrily. “We should go…”

More soldiers, now with sta shoulders, point their blasters at her. “By the order of Beatle Saint King, we order you to stand down!”

She sneered. Mars tried to attack, but she held her fist up, halting her lieutenant.

The lights flickered, and she stood 20 feet tall over the soldiers who only stood 7-10 feet tall.

“Stupidity is the strength of the courageous,” she sneered.

  They shot at her.

She smiled, each bullet just dissipating upon contact with her skin.

She just pointed her trident and blasted them, exploding their heads with her trident as they dusted into bloody ash. She cackled, blowing them up one by one.

One soldier backed away, but she waved her hand, forcing reality itself to pull him up to the ceiling as she stabbed him 40 times in a split second before tossing him away.

She sneered, looming over the soldiers, singing… an old song… “Wise men saaaayyyy… Only fools ruuuush in… I can’t help… Falling in looooove…” She grabs the last soldier and bludgeons his face into the wall over and over, his brains leaking out of his skull as she tore his spine out. She smiles, sniffing. “Yeuch…” She wipes her hand with the deceased body’s cloth. “Any of you got wipes? I think the guy I just killed is diabetic. Blood’s a tad bit fatty.”

Morningstar gives a soft sneer before dancing around. She plays “Start Wearing Purple” by Gogol Bordello on her iPod, happily skipping around and tearing her enemies’ throats out. She dances with the blood all over her and moonwalks back along with her lieutenants.

Morningstar laughs and places her lieutenants in a bubble, jumping out of the ship as she blows up the entire group of space stations, bombing them as screams occur from every wall of each chamber, then silence.

Morningstar crashes back into the Earth, cackling.
