Chapter Fourteen: Murder In Deaths Home

I nodded.“How though?” I whispered as we hid in the shadows.

“I think I will go do it.”

  “What?” I asked.

“I don't want you to get so close to dying again,” Marylyn said.

“The worst thing we can do right now is split up.” I told Marylyn, “I am not letting you go alone.”

“You think I am too weak?” Marylyn asked, glaring at me.

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

“Can we not fight again?” I asked. She was getting so rigid in this situation, sensitive.

“Why?!” She was screaming now, “You are the one who started it!”

“Calm down,” I said, panicking that Death might hear us.

“Don’t tell me what to do.”

“Fine! I was trying to be nice, but go get yourself killed then!” I screamed as I walked away. I felt the evil flood through me as the icy words hit me. I didn’t want her to die, I was just frustrated. I couldn’t take it back now though.

  “AHHHHHH!”

I cried in the darkness. I had never felt so much pain in such a short amount of time. The cold had numbed my body and chilled my bones till I was paralyzed. 1 hour left, alone, with Marylyn dead. I jumped as I heard footsteps.
