A Sea of darkness covered in motes of light, some vibrate and full of life, others dim and lacking such a spark. Occasionally flaring in and out of existence, the lights dancing in a chaotic manner. Such a view only enjoyed by entities who stand beyond the multiverse level, entering the true verse. It is here that other entities are able to observe, create and tamper with these lights which represent the various multiverses of varying sizes. Viewing the past, present, and future in various degrees as well as creating their own or copying others while adding their own twist and turns; Some preserving souls with their memory intact while others aided them on the path to divinity for that mote of light in the void.
Among these entities was one who went by the designation of Oblivion, an existence that reduced the light covered darkness to pure black and stored those lights within itself. The cycle of creation and destruction repeating without such concepts as time being a factor in the larger scales. With it's inactive state no different from other entities, it spent a majority of its time sleeping or observing the creations of others in order to stave off the boredom of existence; casually browsing whatever caught it's interest. Though the various lights seemed the same, it ended up noting the creations of others based off the originality of various entities that sometimes were more entertaining than the original themselves. This occurrence being more likely when a soul with it's memories attached entered a world similar to ones in stories in their own world or similar to them with differences in development. One such case being a girl who got abducted from her world with her entire class by a idiot goddess who used used the guy supposed to be the lead hero as her boy-toy and resulting in the death of a majority of the summoned students, only for the girl with a healer class to be the one to defeat the demon king after the goddess cursed her for calling said goddess out on her behavior as well as the boy in question; This result meant to send her back, ended up sending her to a parallel world where magic developed alongside technology.
Another case being the various people calling themselves otaku being sent to either their favorite world or one they know of. If Oblivion had a favorite for such a type, then it would have been one where such a person found himself as the male lead in the Kaguya world but willingly selected the hell version of such a world's timeline that resulted in him being used as a pinata on his birthday during his time in the orphanage due to the natural recovery of his clan combined with Kurama helping him from the inside which lead to him being firmly believed to be a demon child. While brutal, it did make a point that not everything would be fun and games as well as Danzo being a prick. These stories, as well as a few of the lesser known ones that were gaining popularity lately, gave Oblivion an idea to make his own. Of course, given the vast amount of multiverses it had devoured, gave it plenty to work with in terms of things to give its chosen souls. The idea of setting up an isolated world and choosing a host to personally descend into also crossing its mind, only to be shelved for later. It would first run a test, inviting the others to watch and give pointers where it could improve.
The first step, was crafting a Golden Ring for the first soul it planned to reincarnate. The end result being a mere prototype that it could change any time, designed based off the work of several others. The second being creating a world that the soul would go to, which resulted in a copy of Against the Gods since it offered a clear step into the divine so long as the person took advantage of the Golden Ring which would take the shape of a System inside the core of the soul where it wouldn't be discovered except by other entities. The Third step, was by far the hardest which was to find a person who fit his liking to be his vict- Chosen, be his Chosen for this gift.
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Within a forest just outside Floating Cloud City, a boy just past the age of fourteen laid against the trunk of one of the surrounding trees. With pale alabaster skin and ink-black hair, he could be considered almost feminine in looks due to how thin his body was and the shape of his face that rested with fair androgynous features. A few strands of the falling in front of his face to frame it while the rest pooled around him on the ground; his moving chest and immaculate appearance the only signs the doll-like child was still alive and unharmed, the sleeve of the burgundy robe lifting as he attempted to rub the sleep out of his eyes upon his awakening and the start of what could be considered his legend.
"Urgh~ The hell was that? And this is the last time I accept a drink from some girl just because she's pretty. Damn that smile of hers! I swear if I ever see her again I'll-!" Stopping mid-sentence, he couldn't help but notice an odd sound. Of course, this sound being his own voice that did not sound like his voice as he remembered it. This voice was higher pitched, like a teenagers, and he was in his mid to late twenties. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed a hand and attempted to reach for it, only for the hand to move at the same time as he denied the reality that it was his own; A disturbed look growing on his face as he accepted it and began touching his face to understand if it was real, feeling the soft skin of child that reminded him of a little girl.

Taking a deep breath, he let out the only word that came to mind in such a situation he may have had his gender swapped out of nowhere.
"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU*K!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Panting with his hands on his knees, and shaken to his core, he didn't even notice how long his normal shoulder length hair had grown until it reached his ankles. His mind spinning as he kept questioning himself. 'Don't panic, don't panic, being a girl isn't so bad. I think? No, it isn't a question of sex but identifying as a certain sex. I am a man damn it and this isn't funny! I knew something was up when she was giggling! No girl giggles that much unless she's high off her ass! Shit shit shit! And why am I in a forest? Why do I have a little girl's body?! WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON!'
"Wait, what? System? Like in those novels? And I guess that's good that I'm still a guy then and what mail?"
Looking around before checking the inside of his pants and letting out a sigh of relief, he couldn't help but distract himself by examining his robe despite being a little weirded out by the mechanical voice inside his head. A screen suddenly showing up in front of his eyes and making him jump back and smack his head against the tree, earning a grimace as he read the letter and slowly grew more pissed off by the time he finished.
Staring hard at the letter, he only had one reaction which was to turn around and firmly slam his forehead into the rough bark of the tree before letting out a sigh. 'I swear if it wasn't the least bullshit thing to happen already, that last part would have made me loose it.' Giving up on things getting better, he decided to call out despite noticing he could do so mentally just so he didn't feel like he's completely imaging things.
"Um, Raven? Can you bring up the system menu?"
