"So how did it go ?" asked scary guy .

  After Adam told Kevin about the various jobs he ended up asking scary guy which is working right next to the roundtable .

  "The group forming ? It went pretty okay .... !" replied Kevin .

  Since nobody else stood on scary guys line he could casually chat with him .

  "Why are you so depressed ?" asked Scary guy .

  "Well , i am a newbie and now i should take a job . With no idear what i should take ." lamented Kevin .

  "What is your first skill ?" asked scary guy while adding : "Most people tend to choose their jobs by their first skills . After all if they end up alone and they have a job which is pretty much useless to their skill set you can imagine what for a problem they have right ?"

  Kevin didn't say much , since he could look the sadness in scary guy eyes . Did anything happen ?

  He tried to redirect the focus so he asked : "My first skill is [Heal] so what would you suggest ?"

  Raising his eyebrows scary guy asked : "Are you really a supporter ?"

  "Why is everyone so suprised about my first skill ? I only know it is a rare thing , but why do people always ask me as if i am despising them ?" asked Kevin with an annoyed tone .

  "And why can't i search guidence from my party members ?"

  Since neither Adam or Mark wanted to help Kevin to find a job he has to ask the guild staff , since they were the newbie helper .

  "Don't be so annoyed , there is a reason why they don't help you . It is an ritual that everyone needs to find their own alone without help from close persons . After all it is a choice for your life ." replied scary guy .

  "But there are so many joby , even [Smith] has countless branches . Making enchantes on equipment , forging , working with precious magic stone and many more . How do you want me to choose a job so easily ? Not only that , i have to choose one fast or else i won't get to know the job advantages ." wailed Kevin .

  Sighing scary guy said : "Since you are a supporter you have to pick a job where physical strength is not necessary . I think Alchemist would be a pretty decent choice .

  Even if it's not popular since Alchemist almost have no attack or defense buff without preparations , for supporters to carry tons of heal potions or mana potions will make them more useful to the group . Another advantage is that a prepared Alchemist is more scarier than an entire army of swordsmen ."

  "Wow , if an alchemist is so strong why isn't it popular ?" asked Kevin .

  "Naturally because you have prepare yourself . Where do you get the materials for thousands of heal potions or flame potions ? Not only that , rune enscripter is almost the same except the fact that you engrave runes of mana on everything , paper , wooden sticks , even leaves can be inscripted with explosion rune or buff runes ." explained Scary guy .

  After decent information Kevin decided to chose between Alchemist or Rune Inscriptor . Not because they sounded good , it was more like that the other jobs like cook , forager , builder , scholar etc. could be learned by everybody and was a overall advantage job .

  Focus jobs will strengthen the stats in which the person is strong at , for Kevin it would be INT and WIS .

  "Where do i even learn the jobs ?" asked Kevin .

  "Just ask the guild , they will give free job scrolls to everyone . After all people can't learn more than one job ." answered scary guy .

  Then he walked to the back of the counter and entered a room .

  Pondering which job he should take Kevin listed the advantage and the disadvantages of Inscripter and Alchemist .

  The result is obvious , even if inscriptor couldn't heal with their runes there existed shield runes . Not only that , attack runes like flame rune , explosion rules are pretty common .

  Alchemist on the opposite have offensive too with explosion potion or flame potion , no shields though but with healing potions . However the major problem is the fact that potions need materials while runes does not .

  Seems like inscripter will do .

  Looking at the guild counter Kevin could see scary guy holding two scrolls .

  "Left is Alchemist and right is Inscriptor , which do you choose ?" said scary guy .

  Picking up the inscripter Kevin could see a message popping up :

  'Wait , so these Ancient Runes are the strongest possible runes ?' thinking about the ultimate runes Kevin hesitated .

  "Can i have the Alchemist scroll for a moment ?" asked Kevin .

  Without a word scary guy passed the other scroll to Kevin . If one would look closer a faint smile is visible on scary guy lips .

  Looking on the countless Ancient Potions Kevin couldn't but feel flabbergasted .

  So many ! And they sound so amazing !

  "Is there a reason why there are so few Ancient Runes and so many Ancient Potions ?" Kevin asked scary guy .

  "Yeah , after all even if materials are spare you can combine thousands in different variations . On the other hand Ancient runes have to be engraved on the perfect material , for example Divine Ice rune on everlasting ice stone . You can't expect normal wood or a leave to be able to hold an Ancient rune . Besides after using the Ancient Rune the material will dissipate into dust . It is almost the same as if you were to use a potion ." explained scary guy .

  Sighing over the restriction Kevin choosed Alchemist over Inscripter , at first he felt disappointed . Why can't it be so op like he imagined ? Not only won't the rune disappear , stronge runes have to be written on rare thing and the object will fall into dust or nothing if used .

  Clicking Yes for Alchemist Kevin could feel warm surrounding him , then disappearing .

  "So in the end you chose Alchemist ?" asked scary guy , with a faint smile .

  Kevin didn't noticed the smile , after all he decided his job for the rest of his life ! Who wouldn't feel doubtful about his decision ?

  Kevin answered with a straight Yes and walked back to the roundtable .

  Turning his back to scary guy he didn't notices him smiling while thinking of something unknown .

  Arriving on the roundtable Kevin grabbed a chair and sat down .

  "You choosed your job ?" asked Mark .

  "What is it ?" added Adam .

  "It is Alchemist ." replied Kevin while opening his Status .

  Looking at his status page Kevin ordered a glass of apple juice . After all he didn't drinked in his last world , so why should he start it in this world ?

  While waiting for the apple juice akward silence filled the table . Adam and Mark didn't talked like always and looked at Kevin . The last just waited for his drink .

  After one guild staff waiter brought the juice Kevin sipped a little bit , tasting the sweet apple flavor .

  "So will we do from now on ?" asked Kevin .

  Adam replied : "We will split ."

  With a suprised tone Kevin asked : "So from now on we are not a party anymore ?"

  Sighing Mark started to talk : "We will split , but the group . We will work individual for now and after a while we will start train our team work . At the time where we hunted didn't you felt pretty much useless ?"

  Kevin just nodded , it is true that he is pretty much useless in fighting . However in his old world who would care about his bad fighting skills ? Or to say it in other words who would care about him even if he is bad ? As long as he doesn't break any rules nobody would care for him . Except his parents , but who wouldn't want their offspring to be great ?

  So he just accepted the fact live and die peacefully . But now in a new world everyone have to train hard , TOGETHER .

  It may be that Mark only wanted to ensure his surviving by not having a burden on his shoulders , however Kevin felt a new experience . The experience of relying on each other , the feeling of comrades in arms . The bullshit of "United we stand , divided we fall" .

  There is a chance that Kevin read too many story where party member train hard to protect each other or to get stronger as a goal . Neverless a surge of emotion popped up in Kevins heart .

  He only scratched on the surface of the feeling though .

  "We couldn't find a house in the near surrounding . Most already got taken by other partys ." a voice sounded through the air as Kevin immersed himself in the feeling .

  "There is a free house though , in the outskirt of the city . It is not completey outside but the wilderness is only one or two steps away from the backdoor ." answered a female voice .

  The voices belong to Caro and Bogo who went to search for a house in the city .

  "A house in the outskirt of the city ? Isn't that perfect ? We won't have to walk so far ! Hahahahah . !" Mark began to laugh .

  "The house will be alright , after all i don't think demons will attack this city . Besides we area already used to guard at night so it doesn't matter ." added Adam .

  Caro and Bogo sat down and ordered something to drink while Kevin asked Adam :

  "I am weak right now , so what i should i do to get stronger ?"

  "Just go to the sewer underground . You can ask the mice or rat mans to guide you . They need every hand they can get to fight agains these new mice and rats ." interrupted Bogo .

  "A sewer dungeon ? Who build that ?" asked Kevin with a questiond look .

  "It is not a real dungeon , after all the monsters don't drop equipment or special weapons . The sewer exists since the town beginning , after all where is the feces of the alliance going ? Besides a dungeon mind will be created with every dungeon , maybe it will rank up soon ." explained Mark .

  "Yeah , and after the Dungeon ranked up we will see a boss monster on the last floor and the monster will start drop equipment ." explained a nearing voice .

  It is Emilia . She walked along with An and En on her right and left side towards the table . Her blond hair seemed to be golden , her trait as a elf , the pointy ears give her a mysterious feeling .

  Many males gazed upon her causing them to get scold by their female party members .

  After sitting down on a chair the three girls stared at Kevin causing him to blush .

  "I don't want to go into the sewer , it is dark and smelly . Besides it is not a real dungeon yet !" protest An .

  "We won't go into dungeon , for now we will rent the house in the outskirt of the city and start to train individual . Only Kevin should train in the sewer , he is low leveled and wants to level his skills . The war in the sewer should build a good foundation for him ." explained Adam calmly .

  "Isn't the sewer quite dangerous ? Many Adventurer die each year ." asked Emilia .

  "Nah , it will be fine . After all he will fight with the mice and rat man ." replied Mark casually .

  Sweat poured out of Kevins body . Many people die each year and he have to "train" there ?

  "So did you register us in the guild ?" asked Adam .

  "Yes , everything worked smoothly ." replied Emilia .

  "Since the day is nearing to its end we should visit our new house in the outskirts !" said Bogo while standing up . "By the way we won't have to pay rent for it , after all it is a free house for every adventurer . Since we will use it we have to register ourself and leave it in a proper state ."

  The whole party agreed and they registered themself in the guild .
