I glanced the update notices before swiping them away. Looking at the tiger I raised an eyebrow and stifled a yawn, “Shall we get going…?” I asked with a sigh, then stood up while slowly while stretching. Then I lazily made my way to the spirit altar, the tiger following close behind me.
After wading through the river I reached the altar and the spirits excitedly danced around me as I put my finger on the depression, instantly laughter resounded in my head, [ Welcome back~ Welcome back~ ]
I smiled wryly and stifled another yawn. “Good to be back. Am I strong enough now?”
[ Yes~ *giggle* You are finally strong enough~ Tell me~ Tell me~ Do you want to be a spiritmancer? ] *ting~
This class is one told in legends in the modern age as it has long since died out with the destruction of its country of origin now replaced with a vast expanse of desert.
Spiritmancers were figures that resided in all levels of of society, whether it be on the battlefield where they summoned giant ethereal beings capable of fighting battalions; in the darkness of night as a stealthy assassin; or as the humble messenger delivering letters. They were powerful and diverse, with just as many paths open to them as a normal mage.
They excell in summoning, bonding, and controlling beings from the spiritual plane while giving them solid form. They were attuned with all the elements of the world, and the stronger their affinities the stronger their spirits.
When not in material form the spirits bonded by the spiritmancer shroud their body like armor, increasing their stats passively; making them stronger than normal soldiers.
However spirits are also their constant companions, sharing the warmth of eachothers souls and life. Spirits who are treated badly will not treat you well in return!

“Yes.” *ting~
The spirits around me laughed childishly and swarmed around me. A subtle roar moved some of the spirits away and the tiger came up and nudged me. *ting~
I blinked in surprise and read the new quest window. The heck is this name? It’s blacked out? The girl in my head pouted, “They dare withhold information from us!” I shrugged my shoulders, “I accept.” I looked the tiger spirit in the eye, “How do I summon you?”
She gestured to the altar, and I looked back and put my finger in the depression again.
[ Mister~ Mister~ To summon one of us simply recite the chant that we’ll send to you~ ] Suddenly information was poured into my head and I desperately kept my finger on the depression until it ended. [ Did you get it~ Did you get it~ ]
I nodded and sorted through the ‘chants’ added to my memory, then placed my hands on the tiger spirit and started chanting- well more like humming. It was closer to creating a certain frequency with my mana then warping it slightly through the plane where a spirit on the other side would find it and be summoned, the second part was feeding the small spirit enough of my mana in order for it to create a body.
Since the tiger was already on the material plane- partially- all I had to do was pull the rest of the spirit through the gap and feed her a bit more mana so she could reform her body properly. Finishing prepping my mana I let it flow into her and pulled. With a gentle snap a regal presence slammed into me, my body shaking as it passed over me and the light from the tiger amplified. Gently I felt a warm, large, furry humanoid body embracing me and licking my face.*ting~

The light faded and a naked golden tigress woman was embracing me, her face the same from before becoming humanoid. Her body was covered in fur which hid her privates and nipples well enough, and a thick tail curled lazily behind her large frame. Gently she licked my face again, the spikes on her tongue gently scraping across my skin. *ting~
“Thank you, Ijus.” Regina gave me one last lick and gently separated from me. I stared blankly at her for a moment, then promptly had to stifle a yawn; earning me a chuckle from her. She scooted up beside me and pulled me so my head was resting on her soft thighs. “Rest for now, explanations can wait til you are refreshed.”
I shrugged my shoulders and let myself sink into her fur, embracing the warm darkness with the furs on her hand running through my hair.
