A.n. ok, so anyone know how to copy paste from word without having to redo everything each time? because i had the blue boxes done perfectly, but it just won't copy... (it also removes my spaces for some reason, which is really annoying...)
anyway, first 'real' chapter, so you can have a first look at how i will be writing ou MC.

I give one last look to the girl floating in front of me, the one that’ll be me, and notice a strange tattoo

With a white flash the darkness disappears, and I’m standing in front of a few buildings, and my vieuw is
limited… I can’t see everything around me anymore… is this normal? and the buildings are moving up…

Ugh… some strange feeling flashes through my face and knees after the ground came up to hit me!
Why’d it do that?
Hmmmm… let’s see… I can’t move! Wait, i’m a player now, right? They have ‘bodies’. Is this a body?
How do i move it? Hmmmm… what moveable parts does a body have? Arms, legs, feet, hands… WAIT !
Feet! They’re for standing on, so the ground didn’t hit me, but i hit it?
Ok, easy enough, lets stand. Arms, push me up!

Ok that didn’t work, how do i… ah! I moved them! I don’t have to command them; I just have to… do it?
Anyway, it works! I can finally see what’s around me!
Now, I’m finally up, how do I look around? Why can’t I see everything like before? This is weird… how do
humans live like this? I’ll just have to deal with it I guess… okay, vieuw turn left….

Oh, right, just do it don’t command it! Ugh, my vieuw moves so stockily while turning my body, this is

They seem a bit old, but still strong? No, sturdy! There’s a few people still looking at me, but I can see a
few B-class AI’s… no, I should call them NPC’s like the players right? Yes, let’s do that! How do I get to
them? Walk? Run? Jump? Let’s run first, there is this instruction about running before you walk I
remember!
I put my weight on my left foot, and I lean forward while pushing off… and the ground hits me again!
Damn you ground! And damn those players for making all this noise, it only makes it more disorienting!
The words they’re yelling don’t even exist! Are they stupid? Am I missing something? What does ha
mean? They keep repeating it…

Then, out of nowhere, someone grabs my arm and pulls me up.

The girl who pulled me up says, glaring at the people around her. She has blue hair and brown eyes, a
busty figure that is clearly not optimal for movement… those have got to be in the way! I’m glad my
body was created with quick and agile movement in mind! But now she’s looking at me, as if she’s
waiting for something…

Hmmm, I guess awkward is the word I need? Did she ask me something? Ah! She did ask if I was ok…

“Euhm… yes?”

She seems a bit slow…
“what do you mean, yes?”
Really? But she asked the question, did she forget?

“Oh… right! That’s… great? Anyways, do you need any help?”
Oh? She wants to help me? She seems to be hesitating though… well, not my problem, I can use the

the blonde girl glared at them…
She grabs my hand and pulls it, making me stumble. Noticing that i’m stumbling, she quickly grabs my
arm and helps me walk. How nice, this is a lot more efficient! Now I can concentrate on walking and I
don’t have to worry about perfectly centering my weight!
We quickly leave the square, and arrive at a small store with a bench in front. She pulls me towards it
and motions me to sit down.
“So, my name is Azu, sorry for pulling you away like that, but those people were real jerks, laughing at
you like that…”
Ah! So that ‘ha’- thing was laughing!
“… I mean, seriously, what’s wrong with people! As if helping someone in trouble is that hard! Anyway,
are you really ok? I mean, is this your first time in the game? I know it can take a while to adjust, so
don’t worry too much. Do you have any friends playing already? Why weren’t they there for you? Do you
know where you should go for your beginner’s quest? It’s the old man in front of the building at the
square, it’s the mayor’s house btw, he’ll help you along, but you should get used to your body first,
there’s a small training round south of the square. Oh and you can see where south is by using your
map’s compass, beginners usually miss it, anyway do you want to go with me? I need to go there as well
for my beginner’s equipment and stuff.”
Wow, do I need to answer all of that? Does she want me to? She seems nice though… well, I’ll just say
ok I guess?
“ok”
“Great! Let’s go! I’ll help you out”
She gives me a big smile and pulls my hand again, and this time I don’t stumble as i walk after her. I
still walk a bit awkwardly, but it’s getting better.
“So is this really your first VR? Were you in a coma or something? I know they try VR on paralyzed
people, but I thought they were all already playing? What do you think about the game? It’s known as
the most realistic one! No one’s finished it as of yet! There are even rumors that there’s no ending in the
story-line!”
On the way there she keeps talking to me and asking me lots of questions, but it doesn’t look like she
expects me to answer… I don’t think so anyway… well, I am learning quite a bit! But it’s strange how
little I know about this game… there was just so much information that I had to delete it every so often,
and just thinking of it gives me a headache… too much information to process maybe? Or were those
memories never a part of ‘me’? Just some separate database? Does that mean I lost it all? Well, at least
I can learn stuff I guess…
“Ah! We’re here!”
She suddenly screams out. We’ve just arrived at a courtyard filled with wooden things that look like
players. Dolls? No… dummies? Anyway, a lot of players are running around in weird ways and jumping
about while hitting them with a sword. Do I need to do that to? It seems less than effective.
There’s a guard at the entrance giving out swords to other players, so we quickly move up to him to get
our stuff as well. I’ll use the opportunity to get some information.
“He-“
“Directive?”
I interrupted Azu and asked the guard-Npc… just guard?... yeah let’s just all him guard. Anyway, now
they’re both looking at me weirdly. Maybe he doesn’t understand me?
“Objective?”
They are still looking at me until that b-class piece of junk finally gets his act together.
“I’m here to give out equipment and advice to players, miss.”
He says. Ok, so I can ask him for advice? Hmmm… maybe he knows a player’s goal? Since I don’t really
know what player’s do…
“What is a player’s goal?”
Is ask, and he looks at me stupidly. I don’t remember B-class AI being so slow… is it just me?
“Euhm, that depends, miss, most want to get stronger, have fun, kill monster, save the kingdom,
become heroes, and so on…”
Oh, have fun? What’s fun? Enjoying something? Joy… hmm those are emotions, do I have them? Players
have them… how do I get them? By being stronger? Killing monsters? Let’s try it!
“Euh, are you ok?”
Azu suddenly asks. She’s been looking at me since I started talking. I am ok, right? I didn’t get erased
so there’s nothing wrong.
“yes”
Now she looks at me with another strange look. Troubled? Yes, she’s giving me this troubled look… why?
“No, I mean, don’t you even know how you got here? Why are you playing this game?”
Huh, she’s actually looking for an answer this time, right? I think so… let’s just give her one.
“To become a player?”
“But you are a player?”
Huh, she looks confused this time. I’m getting good at recognizing these… but it’s amazing how quickly
she changes expressions… anyway, am I a player? I guess I am… but what is a player? Someone who
plays? So I need to play now? Have fun? I guess I’ll try.
“I am?”
I say, half question half statement.
She decides to take it as me agreeing with her.
“Ok, so can we get our basic equipment now?”
She asks the guard, no longer looking at me. Did she just ignore the whole thing? Well, easier for me I
guess.
“Yes, certainly, miss.”
The guard answers as he gives us our equipment: a map, a wooden sword, bow and dagger, and 10
pieces of bread. Azu makes it all disappear while I’m just looking at her in amazement. How did she do
that? Why don’t I know how to do that? I was the game, right? Where has my knowledge of all this
gone!
“Come on, put it in your inventory and we’ll go train!”
She yells at me.
“inventory?”
I ask hesitantly. Where is it?
“Where?”
“Ah? This really is your first game! How cool! A true-blue newbie! Did you activate your notifications?
The system automatically disables it for first-timers. Just think ’activate notifications’ and the system
does the rest.”

I quickly get rushed by lots of blue windows! It’s like a wave of blue blocking my view! Let’s read them
