Bright and early the next morning, at, ahem, nine o'clock, yeah, we may have inadvertently skipped our first css, Melody and I woke up.
"Huh." Melody stared at her phone, my arms still wrapped around her. "Looks like we aren't great students."
"Doesn't matter," I mumbled, snuggling into Melody's squishy breasts. "School is for drool."
"I don't think that's a saying," Melody replied, attempting to push me away from her so she could climb out of bed. I fought back, and snuggled harder.
"Sleepy time." Wrapping my arms tighter around Melody, I attempted to roll on top of her. Not my proper pce, but the only way to keep my pillow in pce.
"We really should get up, Scar." Melody sighed, patting my back. "Don't make me punish you."
"Sounds like a reward," I bit back.
Melody shook her head, pcing her hands on my shoulders again, giving another shove. "You're hopeless, my depraved little slut."
"Slut?" I giggled. I am a little depraved slut. Pain slut, praise slut, service slut, I'm all the sluts. "Your personal slut."
Melody let out a deep breath, then issued an absurd ultimatum. "Get up or no orgasms for a month."
"You wouldn't!" I lifted myself out of her breasts to look into her eyes. To make sure she wasn't serious.
She absolutely was. "Try me, puppy."
I growled. Literally, growled. I don't even know how. I just fucking growled. My throat rumbled and my inner pup instincts took over.
"Get up," Melody ordered seriously, despite my antics. "10… 9…"
"Fine," I mumbled, pushing my wolfy nature back for the time being, and unraveled myself from Melody's wonderful body.
"Go get dressed," Melody said as she climbed out of bed and headed to the closet. "We should try to not miss our next css."
Grumbling, I crawled out of the sheets and left Melody's room, heading across the hallway into mine, where I grabbed some random bck lingerie, a pink skirt, a blue tee—oh. My puppy ears are still on.
I grabbed them by the ears and tugged them down my head, pulling them in front of me. They're quite soft. And must be high quality, seeing as they never fell off my head. I'll just…
After setting the puppy ears down on top of my bed, I continued my dressing and slid on some bck thigh highs. Then I completed the ensemble with a pink hoodie, the first thing I saw, and crossed back to Melody's room, where she had also finished dressing.
Melody decided to wear yet another bck skirt, yet another bck hoodie, and yet another set of bck thigh highs. Real creative today. Although I guess she doesn't want to stand out much.
That makes no sense. We're S and X tier. Yeah, I don't know what I'm thinking. We can do anything because we already stand out just by existing. I wonder if that's what rich people feel like? Wait, I'm rich. So I'm right then?
Melody and I headed downstairs, skipped breakfast since we had nothing and, well, css began in twenty minutes. Most of that twenty minutes was spent walking across campus and we finally arrived at Soren hall, meeting up with the dungeon squad, a few minutes before css began.
You know, I think this morning might have been the first time I've ever skipped a css. It's an oddly freeing feeling. In all my high-school days, I only participated in a single senior skip day of the four my css organized. I remember it quite a lot like this—school, or in this case the leadership css, just wasn't on my mind for the day. I might have missed homework or whatever, but it was a true break from my routine and chaos. Just some time to finally rex.
Although most people probably hung out with their friends. I just didn't like that. Or I didn't have the right friends. I just binge-watched anime and read books and things. Very productive. Arguably more productive than school.
Of course today wasn't quite like that. We skipped because of our… activities st night, which consumed more energy than we should've allowed.
"Everyone segregate into tiers, same as Monday!" Css began as Cressida, the former Melody family dungeon raider, walked in, her distinctive cloak trailing behind her, the same as the first time I saw her. Under her cloak, she once again had a bck crop top and bck shorts. "Anyone still teamless, get on it!"
After making it all the way to the center of the gym, where the B tier blob was beginning to form, she waited for everyone to get into positions. Melody and I heeded her instruction, heading towards the A tier area with the rest of our team, just like st css.
Everyone in pce, she began expining today's lesson. "We're gonna jump right into strategy discussions today! Within your space, break into your teams, those without, talk and find teams."
Given the whole situation st css, I'm somewhat surprised Melody hasn't blurted anything out yet. Anyway, we broke away and formed a small circle, Melody stood beside me of course. She couldn't possibly leave her pet beyond an arm's reach.
Seeing most people break away into teams, Cressida continued. "First things first, share as much as you're willing. You'll live or die by your team, don't hide details."
After an uncomfortable thirty-second silence, Fara decided to speak first. "We already did that, didn't we?"
"Yep." Melody confirmed, nodding along. "Anyone gain anything new?"
We all said no, whether true or not. Sure wasn't true for me seeing as I gain things daily, but that needs to remain secret until my tier is revealed.
I wonder if I can reveal it to my team. I think I trust them not to leak it and it… does it have any benefits? It actually might be bad. Then everyone might think they're safe not realizing how weak I am. Whatever.
"Done with that then," Melody said after no one spoke, then asked, "Anyone do anything interesting recently?"
"We ate dinner together yesterday," Fara replied uninterestingly, pulling out her phone.
"Well—" Melody began, only to be interrupted by Silvia.
"Duh." Silvia chuckled, but did continue the conversation. "I never really asked, but what did you all think of it?"
"Your dad's pretty nice," Fara offered as she scrolled through her phone. I wonder what she's looking for. Can I peek? Maybe she has a porn feed.
Blushing, Sylvia coughed and crified. "I meant food."
"That was nice too," Fara confirmed, unshaken as she tapped on something.
"Sorry I couldn't be there," Elle added, fidgeting with a clip on her hair. "Had work unfortunately."
"Where'd you work?" Silvia asked curiously.
"Downtown, Herald's Grill n' bar." You know, I think I've been there. Like two years ago. They had a really good camari, I think. Maybe that was Olive's.
"Maybe we should stop by sometime," Melody suggested. I agree. It's sounds very fun to annoy friends by going to their workpces. I've never done it. But I want to. I also want to be the one annoyed. Wait. No. That. Hmm…
"Uh, I guess?" Elle mumbled, not at all liking the idea.
"When do you work? Tonight?" Silvia asked.
"Ah, I do, but, that's…"
"It's set then." Melody decided, gncing at me and found some sign of confirmation of some sort, and I did want to go. "Who's joining Scarlet and I?"
"I'm up for it," Silvia confirmed, then gnced at Amane, who nodded her head. "Amane too."
"Fara?" Melody spun to face her.
"I have dinner pns unfortunately—" Fara began replying, but before she could expin herself got cut off by Cressida starting her lesson.
The css consisted of more information about team compositions, then went through youts and whatnot for peak effectiveness, practicing them by mocking a setup, which felt very very weird, and then just a lot of listening and little doing. The listening things are Melody things though, since I'm a follower. Melody's little slut follower.
After the third repeated mention of "team cohesion" I had completely tuned out. It's not like it was boring, but I just don't… well I'm zy. A little too preoccupied thinking about how Melody was going to lead me, if you know what I mean.
And that was that—she said we'd continue next css. I had pretty much skipped my first two csses of the day. The first one literally, and the second one by just staring at Melody.
Following css, we all headed to the buffet for our lunch break. Melody and I ate very little though. We kinda just woke up. Sure our first css was two hours, but it still felt like morning. I ate an egg omelet thingy and Melody grabbed a small sandwich.
After that we had Solo Combat. Instructor K had on his suit, still a weird choice. Again, we were paired up, Melody and I facing one another—no embarrassing mishaps this time. Mainly Melody and I fake fighting since neither of us really wanted to hit the other. I still couldn't hit her once. She lightly hit me a few times, following the techniques that were demoed. Why the hell are we not paired up with strangers?
And then we had to split up for our st two csses, which both had inconvenient times that prevented us from hanging out. Stupid schedule. I should get it changed. Can't imagine it's that hard.
