Chapter 222 Part C1

  Author's Note; Thank you for your support. Happy reading. Also couple of items of business;

Note 1; The chapters are getting odd number and part attachments because when I write them sometimes in editing I'll go back and decide I don't like the transition. So I fix it and it ends up big enough to be a chapter. This keeps happening. And I'm doing a lot of editing. it makes the story very clearly much better. But that's why there's so many parts and B, C, D, and so on.

Note 2; I'm going to try to shoot for a book release for mid-April. I'm excited about this. It will be a sequel. Although I'm going for an allowance on the release dates of anywhere from April 15th to April 20th.

Note 3; In this Chapter Asakura's status as a ghoul comes up. Because people put stories down and pick them up I wanted to crify this. This type of ghoul isn't an undead ghoul. Its more like a vampire magical charmed thrall. Only for incubi race instead. This makes a difference in her appeal if people understand this. This was covered in other chapters but the story gets so big its hard to remember details.

Note 4; I will try to fix and put up a glossary or a character listing soon. Also I'm re-editing part of the beginning of the chapters.

Note 5; Will try to get Part C2 that connects with this up either tonight or tomorrow (?) (I'm editing much more than before.)

Note 6; I've put up 2 polls in the forum reader section if you want to take a look at them.

Thanks for your support. Please also let me earn your support for coming chapters and my next sequel release coming soon.

  Chapter 222 Part C1

Inn, rented room 39C after the incident of meeting Nero the 2nd time…

We had been so exhausted that I risked losing control. I needed energy. And when the fight with Nero had finished…

We went back to the inn room. We were here now. The combat with that guy had sted most of the night though.

  …

“You did what?!” Mallory couldn’t help but shout. She stands there where I’d summoned her in the rented room of our inn. I’d taken her back with me. I had too. I did notice that despite her outburst, she’d avoided the window or going anywhere near it because of sunlight coming through the open drapes.

It’s now the morning after our recent battle with Nero in the dream state. I’d then gone back to our room. We were trying to rest and recovery since that intense battle.

Somehow… the Scarred Fae had saved us at the end by banishing Nero with some kind of special called shot high level spell using light element magic. But to do so… he wasn’t fully sin. He had lost an arm, his leg, and his head. Which we burned to ashes. But somehow when the Scarred Fae banished him to… hell or whatever, he was still alive. Actually she didn’t say it was hell. But that’s what our guess is.

Even with his head severed and burned to ashes he was still alive!

And its not the morning after that terrible battle. Where we’re exhausted.

Mallory especially seems upset over a discovery that incubi were inside the fortress city. I’m upset too. But I’m interested in what’s got her worked up about it. She must know something.

It turns out that using Sunghee for anything today is totally useless. This is because of the double lust auras going at the same time from both Nero and myself had put Sunghee and some of my other waifus in overdrive. Plus exhaustion. I’d originally thought that Sunghee had really high willpower, and that was true. But the lust auras of two incubi around her have turned her mind into mush, and made her go into a mating frenzy, which I had to satisfy. Plus running into him again with the tentacle battles. In fact, I’d barely gotten her back to our room in time while she was trying to rip her clothes off.

Then I spent the next two hours trying to calm Sunghee and Asakura down from the overdosing of the pheromone and lust auras of two incubi.

It was only then that I finally got Asakura also calmed down, though I’m not sure if that pheromone mess had affected her indirectly or if she’d just decided she’d enjoy the benefits of having ‘the day off’.

Now Asakura is letting me use her tits as giant pillows while Sunghee is still riding on top of me bouncing up and down mercilessly. I guess, I just have to just let her get it out of her system, but I think the ‘roughness’ she’s dispying is going to make herself sore. In fact, she might even end up with a lot of friction burns in certain pces even though there’s plenty of lubrication.

Asakura is saner than Sunghee is right now but…she’s currently obsessed with rubbing her breasts on me in the form of some weird sensual massage. And she’s not coherent either.

It was around this time that I’d summoned Mallory. And that was because she seemed like the most likely of any of my traveling companions to know anything about daemon races like incubi. I didn’t like summoning her in the fae fortress city but it was necessary and risky to not have any feedback on how to deal with the opposing party, the incubus. The risk of someone raiding the inn could be therefore, less than the danger of underestimating this guy.

Now Mallory is pacing the room as I expined the situation to her.

“You idiot, Shun! Idiot! Stupid! Do you realize what you’ve done?!” Mallory cried out.

  What?

Up till now, I’ve never seen Mallory act out in anger against me. Normally she’s got this attitude of like sidekick to boss type of worship, looking up. I guess this is a reflection of how bad this enemy is, not Mallory’s real displeasure with me. This is like when a loved one needs to vent verbally but doesn’t really think you are stupid.

  “Huh, I don’t get it,” I said.

“The lust aura that a incubi produce is a massive level of aphrodisiac and pheromones in a subtle cloud,” she expined.

“I think I knew that already,” I said.

“Yeah, but what you didn’t know is that it can be poisonous for the minions of one incubus to enter another’s lust aura mana cloud! You idiot!” Mallory said fiercely.

“What?! Are you sure?!” I asked.

“Yes, I’m sure. This is so annoying!” Mallory is pacing the room.

“You should have told me this earlier. You didn’t think we’d run into other demons?” I asked her.

But thinking about it, it makes sense. Its like too much pheromone on someone…

Mallory flinched. “OK. Point taken. I should have foreseen this.”

“And that doesn’t even make sense,” I said.

“Its not for normal incubi that this happens. But for elder incubi. The high ranking ones. That’s why this doesn’t come up very much,” Mallory expined.

“So that guy was an elder incubus?” I asked, trying to stay thinking while Sunghee is… in a frenzy.

  “Yes!”

“How many elder incubi are there?” I wondered.

“That I can’t tell you. But be gd there aren’t that many,” she said.

“There’s no way I could have known that about double auras on someone and the effects,” I said.

“Well that’s why Sunghee and Asakura are messed up right now. Look at her! She can’t stop! She’s going to hurt herself trying to have… you!” Mallory pointed out Sunghee trying to almost injure herself in ahegao mode.

Pretty sure Sunghee has bit her own tongue by accident a few times now.

I’m confused still why Asakura got affected since she wasn’t at that meeting. Maybe she just was too close to me mentally and stuff rubbed off on her?

“How bad, is it in terms of poisonous?” I said while trying to sit up but I was pushed down by Asakura and her tits in my face, even while Sunghee was still going at it in cowgirl rug burn style position.

“Just look at them! They could be like this for weeks!” Mallory said.

Weeks? Well…is that such a bad thing? Oh wait… I might need them to be able to go with me and help out.

“Surely it won’t go that long...” I thought worriedly.

“Its… well that’s the optimum range. Probably not that long. But several days is possible. They won’t die or be harmed in their organs. Its not that kind of poison. But they won’t be able to really stop intimacy until you clear this from their systems,” she added.

  “...”

“Further you’ll have to satisfy them every few hours or there will be too much pheromone built up in their system. By taking the edge off… you purge it from their system,” Mallory told me.

“That so huh?” it could be worse… its not like I don’t want to spend time with Asakura and Sunghee. And they both just happen to be my most loyal minions and have been with me the longest. That doesn’t mean the others aren’t loyal. But Asakura and Sunghee really are fanatical almost.

I kept going to work… only spousal intimacy would pull the poison out of Asakura and Sunghee. I had to trade off on whose turn it was roughly every 5 minutes. According to Mallory if I overwrite the enemy pheromone with my own its the same as removing it. But that means… a lot of bedroom activities today.

Hm…well I do need to still work up my skills and power. Being idle a long time will contradict that goal.

Dang it…having incubus genes is so hard.

This is happiness and bliss but it’s like living in a bubble and I have to be careful of noticing things around me outside the bubble and have more awareness of my environment. And they are technically my wives, not someone on the street. Shouldn’t marriage be happy…?

“So what are you thinking?” Mallory asked me suddenly as we’re working. I think this is partly her own side wanting to cim me, so she wants to know what I’m thinking.

Oh right…she’s not yelling at me anymore. She seems worried about if I’m upset at her now. I can’t tell her what I’d just thought. She is already fighting jealousy and her teeth are grinding.

  What should I say…

“Well…I’m sorry Mallory. You’re right. Help me to understand this better please. Tell me everything you know,” I said.

“Hmph! Good, now you understand better! This is the right attitude, so I can expin further while you keep...yeah drill her hard like that. That’s so hot,” she kept pacing and I realized she wasn’t angry at me but rather this whole time she’d been scared and nervous but her pride wouldn’t let her show it. Mallory keeps peeking at me as I’m drilling Sunghee. She’s also got her hand down her skirt.

“Basically what you didn’t realize down there is that you were just in a battle with that incubus Shun. It wasn’t a friendly meeting but a test! In their mind even though he said in his first meeting even, he was willing to cooperate with you, he was still the entire meeting trying to steal Sunghee. And that was before you battled him for real in the dream state. It was very much a battle for everything you have. And incubi often prefer mental battles and battles over wife stealing than actual physical combat. Why wouldn’t they prefer it that way? It makes no sense to risk their neck when they can just take someone’s woman. And ignorance was also a weapon in the fight. He probably figured out you didn’t understand fully what was going on right when he first spotted you. So that guy is more dangerous than you could imagine. The peace treaty is a farse! Of course he would want that treaty also! You came so close to losing everything down there!” Mallory said.

“So he tried to NTR me,...” I thought aloud.

“Yes he did. And he almost won too. We got lucky,” Mallory said.

  The Scarred Fae saved us…

I feel there’s something different about her more than other people of this world. I wish we could find out more about her.

I almost paused while switching to Asakura, as Sunghee was trying to catch her breath. “So its combat but like...not facing you directly that incubi do?”

“Yes. Asymmetrical warfare. Where you do it in such a way that they don’t perceive it as an attack. The goal is to avoid the enemy fighting back. And to take what’s theirs for your own. A kind of piracy if you will call it that,” Mallory expined.

“Really? But he seemed sincere on the first meeting. Obviously the second meeting he was the opposite.”

I sighed…I had a feeling what Mallory’s next response would be. I just hoped she wouldn’t rebuke me too much.

“Incubi are skilled maniputors Shun. He might have even used some form of mind magic to make you feel that way. Oh… that’s so hot seeing Asakura’s tits shake like that as you drill her,” Mallory has her hand down the front of her mini-skirt doing subtle movements now. Her tongue is being bitten in her teeth, and sticking out the side of her lips.

She waved a (now wet) hand like a teacher telling a student how they’d been naive, “incubi and succubi always want non-lethal non-physical battles Shun. You must always remember that. To them, this is always about willpower battling and who has the most loyal followers! You have to always remember that! From the beginning the treaty was to disarm you and conquer from within, not to help you!”

“So even though its not physical combat its more dangerous, not less. I wish I’d known that. I feel naive,” I said.

“Well there’s no way you could have known. A normal human might never run into a succubi or incubi their entire life. And it’s normal for most species to reach out to want to know where they came from, who they are, and where they are going. Family and species bonds are part of that, just with incubi that doesn’t work well. You can expect any of your kind to be automatic confrontations simir to this from here out. You are lucky I’ve dealt with them before…although it was limited…” she sounded insecure suddenly.

“So you had business with them before?” I wondered.

Asakura is really going with my pace right now as Mallory tries to concentrate enough to talk; not easy given the conditions.

“My …vampire parent was a woman named Cecilia. She’s …very dangerous, so there’s no way in hell I’ll take you to meet her. I also hope she doesn’t realize where I’m at or she might want to repo me. She kind of had a thing for wanting to see her sponsored vampire children as toys. Even now, a meeting with you and her would only result in your death. At any rate, Cecilia raised me as a fledgling vampire in a rge medieval city called Shardburg.”

“Shardburg huh? You should tell me about that too. I don’t know anything about Shardburg. Is it close by?” I murmured.

“You are going off on tangents Shun. Are you even listening to what I say while you py with Asakura? Just listen for now. I have something important to tell you…” Mallory is still pacing.

“Right…and I am listening. I can do 2 different things at once,” I cleared my throat and prepared to listen.

“Shardburg was a populous major port city in the Northwest on the coast of the Wyrm Sea, near where the Church of Gaia operates and the other knight kingdoms. In fact, its part of the Empire ran by the Church of Gaia, and bordering on the knight kingdoms in that area. Shardburg itself had two rival vampire factions. Cecilia’s brother had one. And her cousin ran one in the neighboring town. Cecilia and her brother both had their own covens and were locked into a massive power struggle. For hundreds of years they were at each other’s throats constantly trying to one up each other.”

[Huh…she said knight kingdoms as in plural. I recall that Sunghee’s apprentice Lyra and Sunghee were operating in a knight kingdom, but the details are fuzzy since I don’t clearly know the geography of this world. I have enough to think about focusing on what Sunghee is telling me.]

[And did she say Wyrm Sea? I wonder what that means…]

“Anyway, one day though, a newcomer came to town. At the time, I was young and didn’t understand a lot. The newcomer surprised us because he had vampire sves. This was an affront to us. A vampire seeing other vampires in svery, is like ‘abomination’ and ‘bsphemy’ to us. We aren’t likely to save the ones in svery you see…we’d be more likely to end their lives. But the idea of someone ensving us is like anathema to us. Because we’re supposed to be apex predators how could we tolerate this? And that’s also a big deal because vampires are stronger than most creatures, so for someone to ensve us makes us highly wary indeed…”

“Suddenly the rivalry between Cecilia and her brother ended abruptly to face this newcomer! Immediately both of them teamed up to sack him. They gathered their forces and renewed a non-aggression temporary pact cease fire. Finally the day came that they would throw down this newcomer. We also thought he was alone and without allies and that was a mistake that we would regret. And for all intents and purposes he seemed weak.”

“Then the first wave went in. Imagine our shock when we lost. Then further shock when not a single survivor of the unified raid came back! This was even more confusing! But luckily Cecilia was a tactical genius and had expected trouble. She had a massive survival trigger system of anticipating more than one way of attacking and defense through both wins and exploiting losses also. But her brother wasn’t so lucky…”

  “Hmm…go on,” I urged.

“Her brother’s best soldier and captain Zythia, was captured in the first wave’s movement. Also Zythia’s younger sister was also taken, who was a lieutenant. Cecilia on the other hand, had sent two lieutenants which she also lost. But she hadn’t sent in her best pieces like her brother had, but had covered it up by sending in a freshly made ‘newborn vampire’ pack. Overnight, her brother’s power crumbled, and Cecilia gained the upper hand, though at the time she didn’t want a win like that because her brother’s power crumbling that way meant less survival for both of them in the face of the new threat. Plus, they already were facing vampire syers from the knight factions nearby. Yet both sides were baffled by how this newcomer had taken some of their best pieces.”

“Both decided to scout it out, and even use outside resources. They hired mages to spy on the newcomer and report while also focusing on evasive trap byrinths and building up underground defensive fortifications.”

“Underground? Why not in buildings though? I thought vampires preferred cities,” I wondered aloud.

“It’s smart of you to notice that. We do prefer living in buildings in the cities directly. We like the convenience of modernism, plus the instinct of ruling over the weaker races makes us acclimated to take their treasures and use them to decorate our irs. Plus, we don’t often have our own industries because vamps are obsessed with having cattle…if you know what I mean. We want the cattle to do the work. Anyway, at this particur time period the Church of Gaia was considered too strong to take unmitigated risks like sleeping and living in the cities directly in the years before the newcomer came. So instead, at that time it would be common for us to buy a house, using our sve resources, and then tunnel under it slowly into our own byrinths and tunnels to go deep beneath it and set up traps and defensive networks.”

“Wow, I wish I’d known that,” I mused.

“Well its a lot of work. More work than you or I want to do. This is why it’s common for dungeon lords to acquire vampire servants very early on. The aversion to sunlight forces the vampire minions to be very heavily vested in tunneling and expanding underground fortifications. Interesting isn’t it? All this lore on this world about dungeons, and few recognize that vampires are so vested in underground tunneling?” she asked.

  I nodded. “Go on.”

“We have a lot of experience in this matter and tend to be as much vested in underground tunneling as dwarves. We’ve had to study how to protect ourselves from intruders for centuries to avoid them exploiting our inability to go out in the sun for very long,” she mused.

“I thought you can go out in the sun?” I said confused.

“Vampires will die if out in the sun too long. We won’t completely vaporize when we hit the sun usually. And we can build up some immunity, even going out for a few hours at a time for those that are older. A newborn vampire would probably catch fire in the sun instantly though. But we can only handle a number of minutes equal to roughly a fifth of our age,” she said.

“And there’s a formu for it based on age? This is interesting…”

In the background sounds of lovemaking from Asakura and Sunghee can still be heard.

“Yeah but vamps will kill you just for knowing this. So don’t ever talk about it again openly…” she rolled her eyes.

“So if you are a 100 years old, then you’d be able to handle, what...maybe...about 20 minutes of sun?” I asked.

“Something like that. Yeah, it’s fairly standard, although poor eating and near starvation periods cut into that. And that’s not counting other spell buffs involved, which technically can extend it, or enchants on clothes. And yes, I can take about 20 minutes. But I don’t like to even tempt that. Its not worth the risk.”

“And I’ve never heard this in any of the myths…isn’t that weird?” I asked.

“No, that’s because we kill anyone who finds this secret out. Speaking as a species and not as an individual by the way. And we’re going off on tangents again. Focus!”

“Right…its Asakura’s fault. And I don’t want you killing anyone, except monsters and vilins.”

  Asakura moaned in response.

  “Fine… no killing,” Mallory sighed.

“Well you also said vampires being as invested as dwarves in tunneling. That can’t be right,” I said in confusion. It’s true that we’d had dwarf setbacks, but vampires obviously have a lot of dangers.

“Oh right, I should expin that. Yes, vamps tend to eat our allies. It happens once in awhile and we can’t help it. My bad! How would I know this or that minion was that weak! We tend to not have as good building techniques and materials in tunneling compared to dwarves. But we compensate for that with tenacity. Although a problem is that yes, vampires tend to eat the sves that displease them as tunneling workers. We are OK with serving the strong and genetically made to accept a strong leader. But dwarves are genetically modified to be tempted for gold, even if the owner of the gold is dangerously too strong to steal from. Do you get it now?” Mallory asked.

“OK, that makes sense. I hope you don’t do this yourself now that you work for me,” I gred at her.

“Err, I’m expining the complexities of vampire race in general. And this is not my own experience. I’ve been pretty sheltered from it actually,” she added.

  “I see.”

“To make a long story short, we found out from spying that the newcomer in Cecilia’s city had come with sve vampire troops. And they were fighting against each other almost from the first day. He had somehow befriended the troops that we’d sent to take him out also. And so he’d brought his army numbers up by doing so. Every time they fought him it just increased his numbers. We knew something was off about this right away. It shouldn’t happen like that or be that easy to get vampires who had been loyal for centuries to instantly switch sides. So we dug a bit deeper. In the initial report, another disturbing detail was only the females had been spared in that initial wave it seems. There was no details at all of any of the males in the party being with that group under the newcomer’s arrival. But none of us knew what it meant, except that it was really bad.”

“We then decided to try to parley and negotiate with this fellow…only the two girls we’d sent to do the parley and deliver the message in writing didn’t come back either,” Mallory expined.

“Too te, we realized that an incubi is incapable of cooperating with others typically. Their abilities and exuding charm make them vain and prideful. To them, dominating others is how they gain power, so sharing territory isn’t even possible. Everything to them, is about snatching up power and game pieces. The more women they hold the better.”

“Wow!” I breathed out in surprise.

“Yes, but it taught us a lot. Cecilia was smarter and stronger than any vampire I’d ever met. And she decided to take all her troops and move to a different town. And she was right to do so. Less than a week after the move, we heard her brother had been executed in the street by somehow a mysterious tip off to the Church of Gaia, disclosing his hidden base and how to get through all the booby traps. All of his faction gone in an instant.”

“There’s only one way they could have gotten through the traps right?”

“Yep. Several of the captured minions this incubi was holding all knew how to get past them. After all it used to be their base, their former friends and boss. But there wouldn’t have been a way of being able to change the traps so easily without spending a lot of time and resources. Cecilia was right to move. Her ability to sense the danger proved right. But it showed us how cunning and vile an incubus can be. Which is why I’m telling you all this. At the same time we received that report, there were also other reports of nuns disappearing from the Church of Gaia also.”

“So the incubi was charming vampire women by the dozens and making them his elite troops,” I thought aloud.

  “Yes.”

“Wow. OK, wait is that incubus the same one as this Nero guy we almost got obliterated by?” I asked.

She took a long pause. “That… I don’t know. But I doubt it. And the scary part is… Nero didn’t have vampire sluts as minions. And vampires aren’t that easy to charm and hold. So … the scary part is Nero might be lower on the totem pole as this other guy that Cecilia fought,” she said.

I think my jaw fell open by accident.

The fight with Nero… was… it wasn’t something we were ready for. To say that we survived it even is pretty amazing. He was like a world boss almost. I remembered games from my old world where some RPGs had these world bosses that were impossible to fight until you had maxed levels and stats out. Fighting them earlier than that was suicide.

I came to the conclusion that… we weren’t ready for Nero. And that meant other incubi also we weren’t ready for. It was scary to think about.

“What would he want with nuns?” I wondered.
