Chapter 1: New Seekers

  In the peaceful town of Verdant, the sun shone brightly over the small homes and green fields. People were busy, laughing, and chatting with their neighbors. But for Kai, it was just another day filled with dreams.

  “Almost! Just let me grab my gear,” Kai replied, running to his room. He packed his small backpack with snacks, a water bottle, and his trusty wooden dagger, which he liked to call his “adventurer's weapon.”

  As they stepped outside, they met their other friend, Taro. Taro was tall and strong, with short, spiky hair. He smiled at Kai and Lila. “Ready for adventure?”

  “Always!” Kai exclaimed. “Let’s go to the Guild and sign up to become Seekers!”

  The Seekers Guild was a place where explorers trained and learned. The guild was located on the edge of town, a large building made of stone.

  Inside, the guild was full with people. Some were practicing their skills, while others were discussing maps and quests. Master Elena, the guild leader, stood at a large table, explaining the next training session. She was wise and strong, with a warm smile that made everyone feel welcome.

  “Ah, Kai, Lila, Taro! I’m glad you’re here,” Master Elena said. “Are you ready to start your journey as Seekers?”

  “Yes!” they shouted together.

  Kai nodded eagerly. “I’m ready for anything!”
