A heavy crunching sound rang out on the left side of my face as the impact sent me onto the ground sprawling.

Three sets of goblin feet visibly charging into my now somewhat ruined field of view. My entire left eye was reading critical damage. I couldn't see at all out of my left side, the sensitive camera components in my left eye beyond broken.
I heard the tell tale sound of Molly's fire dart impacting the face of the nearest goblin looming over me with a club.
I took his momentary pain and distraction to grab a hold of his foot and channel my Electric Shock ability up his leg. He fell unable to continue standing. I kept up the pressure on him. As soon as he was in reach I planted my hand on his chest and soon a jolt of electricity was sent straight to his heart. He twitched once violently and went limp.
The other two goblins weren't just standing around however. While this was happening the other two went after Molly. One armed with a slingshot tried to shoot rocks at her while the other brandishing an ax tried to chop her in two in one fell swoop.

Molly dodged the ax swing and took flight up into the air away from them. Molly dodged rocks and returned fire from up in the air well out of the ax wielder's reach.
Just as the one with the ax was getting ready to throw his ax at her in frustration I tackled him to the ground from behind wrapping my hands around his neck and face. Electric current jumped from my open palms into his skull leaving scorch marks in spider web lines across his face, frying his brain in a matter seconds.
It must have been a gruesome sight as the last goblin flinched and rather then stay and fight it turned tail and ran screaming at the top of its lungs. Good thing to as two consecutive electrocutions had really drained me of my Aether. I could already feel the dizziness coming on. At least Molly is safe.
The system's after fight notification crawled across my vision.

I retrieved my fallen club from the ground where I had dropped it as Molly floated down to me. She was very upset to see the damage done to my eye. I tried to calm her saying that I will get a replacement for it when this is over. That didn't seem to calm her down though.
In the distance the sound of a horn being blown suddenly sounded. Then more and more horns were sounded. The commotion grew as goblin voices were add to the mix. Things grew frightening as the goblin voices began to rise in pitch. Me and Molly looked at each other, worry and fear etched across her face. Grabbing her with my right hand we started running for our lives. The goblin hunt in hot pursuit.
