"You two follow me" Connor calls the two of them over, only to receive disappointment from Princi and Hino as they tag along behind him. "Don't drag your tools around!" he scoffs again. "Hino that cost alot!!! and Princi stop poking random object around with yours!!".
"I can't believe I'm dealing with you two" covering part of his face as he sighs. "Just count your blessings that I'm keeping you alive" Princi response, poking the ground with her spear. "Are you even allowed to carry that around?" Hino asked "Why do I need to carry a case??". "Because your not stupid!" answered Andi, popping out from nowhere and joining their group as they head down towards the Mega Mall. "I think he's talking about me" Princi whispers in Hino's ear. "I think your the stupid" Hino thought.
Showing a number two with his finger, Andi explains the need for the group to be split apart. "We'll be having new members joining our group" he adds. Without a moment to digest what was just said, a few familiar and unfamiliar faces appear to be coming towards them. Two obvious agents and two others familiar to the duo. A squirmy lady and a man with puffy hair.
"YOU!!!" Hino calls out. "Four eyes!!" Princi joins. "What the hell is he here? I though he's de-", cut off by Princi as she continue to yell out disagreement with the arrangements and other profanities. "He's horny!" Hino yells again.
"Quite both of you!! You want to make a scene or something!!" Connor chimes in, only to be left ignored and forgotten by the duo-pushing against one another and charging towards the other group. "Hey wait up" Connor words reached deaf ears.
"Oh don't you two miss me" Fuji exclaims, receiving two punches to the face as he said so. "Fucking perv!!!" "Four-eyes load of crap!!!".
"And that why I'm splitting the two of you" sighs Andi, lighting a cigarette-greeting the other two agents. "Have you brief on our two new recruits?" Andi asks. Pam, the female agent, flicking her short hair as she answer of the progress of the recruits. "As for yours?" she asked. "Connor go answer them" looking at Connor. "Their both shit for heads but they get the job done" he nervously answers, looking away from the others.
"So we are doom?" Iku asked, adjusting his tie. "Relax, you can take the two boys with you to the train station" Andi assured "The rest will patrol the mall."
"And if that all goes wrong" Andi's tone changes, tilting his head down. "I guess I'll use the experimental group 5". Chuckling nervously , Pam gathering everyone together and dividing everyone into groups of two. Pam, Jesse, Princi, Connor and Andi. The second group, Fuji, Iku and Hino. One within the mall and the other around the train station that passes the mall.
Confused, Hino attempts to protest but halted himself from doing so. "Both of you come with me" Iku commands Fuji and him to follow along. "I don't think I can get along with him" Hino thinks, following behind like a dog.
......
"I like my job to be perfect, I can't stand a change of plans" Iku narrates, "I've created a plan for the three of us, we will be rotating around, on and off the train". Dragging that heavy case around on his back, every step heavier then the last. "What about food?" he asked.
"We will have a break between rounds, sandwiches and black coffee. Nothing fancy" Iku answered. Hino's believes are confirmed.
Stepping on the train with a violent crowd trying push in and push out. Shoving the case forward, he made it in-angering a few commuters-exhausted from all that carrying. "I'm depressed now" he whispered to himself, seeing the other two walking through each train carts one by one as he laid they tired. The face of Mariko feels real to him, staring directly at him. "I feel depress".
Today waking up early really was a hassle. For once, he decided to make breakfast with whatever he has at home. Canned tuna and toast he made for Remi and himself. He recalled the confused look on Remi's face, knowing he isn't the type to use the small kitchen he has. Too Hino, he doesn't know his reasons for his actions today.
"Don't do anything dangerous while I'm gone" Hino informs Remi, "I have a job for a day". Enjoying their toast, spread with a warm layer of tuna on it. "Eat properly" Hino reminds her, watching her gorge down another slice, leaving a crummy mess over the table. "Your cleaning that up" Hino mutters.
"So you would be fighting?" Remi asked.
"Probably " he response
"And that chainsaw? What about that"
"I'm not sure. A buddy of mine told me that I could attract it, if I'm strong enough" Hino answered between each bite, readying for his second slice. "I think your a violent person deep inside" Remi answer, peaking Hino's curiosity. "What does that mean?"
If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
"I believe what your buddy said is rubbish. She holds a spear right? Spears are a strong weapon, especially if you throw them, those are dangerous" she explains, "That's why I believe your friend is an ignorant person".
"What?"
"A spear in the air, can't be change in its direction until it lands. That's why I believe your friend is ignorant" Remi points out. "You talk to much during breakfast" Hino brushes off her claims, deciding to get up and leave early. "You wash the dishes, stay out of trouble and don't let your dad find you" he moans, dragging the heavy case with him.
"Am I a violent person? Is that why Mariko....." too much question inside his head. How many rounds has he been going around for, seeing the same things over and over, break time still hasn't reach yet. "This is exhausting, man" Fuji moans, sitting next to him. "Iku is going to check the entire train by himself. There's nothing going around, on or off the train".
"Why are did took the job?" Hino asked. "Initially you were right, it was the action figures" Fuji admits "then things gotten harder I guess". Hearing that made Hino regret asking in the first place, there isn't enough space to feel bad for someone else after feeling bad for himself. "What about you?" Fuji asked. "Forced into it" he wanted to say, now thinking about Mariko, he switches his response. "Too protect and get back home".
"Woah someone's acting like a hero" Fuji jokes, giving a light push on the shoulder.
"Wanna know why I do what I do?" a guy in regular white jacket sitting opposite to them. "I do mine for revenge" the guy answered without either of them responding. "Do I know you?" Hino scoffs. "How could you forget me Hino, I'm the one to kick you out your window" feeling hurt by Hino's comment. "No I don't know you"
"Oh sure you do" showing the back of his jacket with a number 10 printed on it.
"Yeah I've no clue"
"Is your memory broken or something" the guy asked Hino once more.
"No"
"Then why don't you remember me!!"
"Because I don't!!!"
"Put the lighter down, glasses" pointing towards Fuji, sneakily pulling out his gold lighter. Wearing the hood over his head and zipping the zipper all the way up, cover his face like a mask, now only his eyes are visible through the clothes. "Your that guy that attempted to kill me by throwing me out my very own window!!" Hino figures out who he's seeing.
"What's all this bickering about!!" Iku returns seeing the three talking among themselves. "Do we know you?" taking notice of the assassin in white with the number 10. "Sir I'll have you know, causing fights with governmental associates may lead you to- "
BANG!
A hole going through the other side of his forehead, face drench in his blood as Iku collapses on the ground. "Did you do that?" Fuji asked. "Do I look like I have a license?" the assassin response.
"I did!" the voice of a blonde man yelled out. Dressed in dark coat with his finger pointed in a shape of a gun as he adjust his glasses. Standing in the middle of the train, smiling "I'm here to kill you all but that's disrespectful". "They call me DW, I prefer to be called the Joker. If your human, you'll know me as the Weapon Demon".
"One of the four" Fuji mutters grinning his teeth, sparking his lighter as the Joker's gun hand catches on fire. The assassin's presence disappeared for a moment, reappearing behind the blonde man-snapping his neck. Abruptly the shocked expression on the Joker's face spoked. "I have an artificial spine" he said before exploding.
Disturbed by the small impact created from the small detonation, the surrounding train carts rattled before returning to its steady pace. "Oh thank goodness I got out of there" the assassin muttered having some dust brushed on him. "He's still standing" a passenger points out.
"Want to know why I call myself the Joker?" a disembodied voice spoke from somewhere inside the headless corpse. From the neck, strands of wires and metallic plates began to sprout, gears turning, armor plating forming the shape of a head. Like a helmet, protecting the fleshy insides of a person the Joker stood tall, eyes covered by armor, a heavy jaw lined with rolls of small knives and three long dreads made of bandoliers-each with a bullet-bursting out from the back of his head.
Loud gears grin themselves inside his head. "Well because I'm full of surprises!!" his voice echoed inside his mechanical throat. Looking at his charred arm, without hesitation, he removed the layer of burnt skin on it-exposing the three barrel gun under it. "Light up!!" he yells, opening fire everywhere.
Fuji shielded by Hino, who is not riddled with bullet holes and a train filled with the dead, the injured and the carnage. "Mega mall!" the train announced on the speaker as the automatic door opened for the crowd to run out off. "Find Princi!!" Hino yells, pushing Fuji off the train. "What about?" adjusting his glasses, huffing from the shock. "I have alot of emotions to work out" Hino smiles, the door of the train closes.
"The name's Ten. How about a truce?" a hand was given out to Hino. "Do I have a choice?" he asked before shaking. Ten unwrapping the bandages over a tall object he has by his side since the start. The handle long with it splitting out to two directions and a straight long blade ending with a point. "A medieval sword?" Hino chuckles. "What do you got then?" Ten wonders, staring at that large case that's been bugging him since the moment he found him.
Unlocking the buckles, pushing the lid opened. Finger wrapped around a long handle with a trigger to press on attached to it. A small engine was visible but what was more ridiculous to Hino wasn't them not trusting his ability but the sheer size of it. Similar to a cricket bat not lined with the hooked sharp teeth of a chainsaw. Pressing the trigger the sword roars. "Chainsaw-sword" Hino answers.
Laughing. The Weapon Demon laughs in happiness. Removing his tie, whimpering to himself. "Oh Morrigan, I thank you for promising my Crazy".
