Iko noticed that she really liked fighting others, as she clawed her way with precision through the [Grey Tree] who was sending its roots and branches to attack her, it had been a surprise attack from the tree while she was taking a rest, surprisingly she was able to stand her ground against the level 25 tree, who she noticed was stronger than normal level 25 beings, she noticed all the enemies with “Grey” on their name were stronger than normal, as she dodged a root that attacked her right she used her claw to destroy 5 others, she used her tail, who she had grown accustomed to, and used the needle on the tip of her tail to slash some of the branches before stabbing the core of the tree making it fall declaring it’s dead.

Iko was happy, after all, she heard that at level 15 one would get their second skill, her first real skill was [Corrupted Sense] which gave her horns that could sense the nearby Corruption and she also learned she could use it to stab enemies from time to time, and her 3 new abilities, she read again the description of 2 of them, [Reality Pierce] and [Corrupted Touch]

[“Piercing through the lies said by the King”]
[The user gains a tail of a True Born Dragon, gaining the ability to control it in its fullest, being able to pierce through any defense thanks to its needle made from the Divine metal. (Notes from moderator: you can also use the needle and metal tube as a syringe to absorb blood!)]
This ability was interesting, she could use it to pierce through any defense, just like her claw, but her tail, was more unpredictable than a claw that you know will attack you up front, she could do a lot of things with it, and the best of all, she could use it to make a lunch, whenever she killed a corrupted monster, she just stabbed the needle in the corrupted parts and would absorb all the blood for a late night snack! It was one of the best abilities she has gained since she got the system.

[The user can choose any new extension coming from the [Corrupted Dragon] race to imbue it with corruption, having different effects depending on the extension the user chooses.]
[Corrupted Claw: the user imbues the claw with a purer form of corruption, giving it special properties that when in touch with a non-corrupted being, will give the status effect of [Corrupted]]
[Corrupted Wings: The user coats its wings in a purer form of corruption, allowing them to block all incoming damage that hits the wings for 2 seconds.]
[Reality Pierce: the user tail gets covered in a purer form of corruption, granting the ability to inject corrupted blood into an enemy, also being able to use the needle as a corrupted sword for a short period of time.]
[Corrupted sense: the user horns are now able to sense corruption from higher distances]
Except the last one, this ability was useful in a lot of situations, it was one of those hybrid skills only a few people could get, the fusion with [Corrupted sense] wasn’t the most useful, after all, it only worked were there were corruption, and where in the hell would she find corruption out there, even the bastard of Jaul only found bits of blood after dozens of years, she still didn’t know how her soul was able to meld with all the bodies Jaul said he used, but it didn’t matter now.
“I guess I should find somewhere to hide while he have’s his dinner” said Iko before flapping her wings and take off up to the sky, she had a little base in a cave to the south but every beast in the jungle knew that every 5 days, you shouldn’t be in the open, not while he’s having his fun…
As Iko flew toward her cave she saw a lot of beasts desperate to get a hiding spot, not every beast could find one after all, even with their limited intelligence they understood the pattern the strongest used, he will stay still for 5 days, the sixth day… it would be a massacre.
The wind in her wings felt great, after all, it was a good moment, from what she heard from other system users before her town got attacked, at level 15 one would get a new ability that had to do with your class, she guessed that in her case, it would be her race instead but she was mad, cause no matter how many level 20 or higher monsters she killed, she was leveling too slow, she supposed that killing a level 26 would give her at least 2 levels but she just got a fragment of a level, enough for level 14 but it would take a lot to get to a level she could fight that bastard and not die instantly, maybe dragons just needed a lot more exp? That couldn’t be after all the monsters that had “corrupted” in their names gave more exp… maybe she absorbed the corrupted energy in the monsters? It could be, after all, all the monsters here had a fragment of corruption for low it was, but not a lot had “corruption” on the name, she was lucky with that pack of wolfs she found when she got there.

While Iko enjoyed flying she did feel kind of lonely up in the sky, after all only she and him were capable of flying in the jungle domain, and she hated the feeling of loneliness, even while she was tortured by Jaul or devoured by the metal beasts, there was always someone there, even if it was a foe, she was never trully alone, the only time was when she felt her soul being injected with corruption and she hated remembering it, but she had to fly to her cave or she would have to fight all kind of beasts to get there.
“I hate this…”
Some minutes later she saw her cave from above, so she went straight into it, with no surprise finding beasts inside the cave, after all, it wasn’t as the cave was hidden, but as a routine she was about to send them off either by killing them or just scaring them, as she entered she gave her natural speech hoping one of the beasts was smart enough to comprehend and just leave.
“So, this is MY cave so unless you want yourself to get dissected by my claw and tail, I suggest you to leave”
As she expected none of the beasts moved, so as lazy as she was she just used [Corrupted touch] on her tail and cut throught all of them, she didn’t have to worry about a stronger monster inside, after all, this was in the corners of the jungle where only weak monster resided.

Iko paused for a moment.
“Corrupted… rock? Things can also give experience if they corrupt? How the fuck did a ROCK corrupt!?”
As she was talking nonsense to herself a roar was heard all across the jungle, the cave started trembling and Iko could feel the assassin aura from the center of the jungle, where the king of this jungle was waking up.
“The fucker is at it again, can’t you just eat quietly?”
Iko mumbled, as she used her [Eye of The Dragon] to identify the roar, something she learned she could do, she could identify attacks to know who used it, as she identified the roar, the same status screen appeared for the fourth time, she couldn’t believe it.

Iko couldn’t help but shiver at the status screen every time she saw it, even Jaul, who was higher level didn’t have a red status screen, she assumed it was because of the it’s title or race, who clearly gave a shivering feeling.
“Ugh, how did Jaul did to capture this thing either way? Its aura is so much stronger than his…”
Iko couldn’t help but feel humillidated, probably because she was now a dragon, some of the most pridefull races in the world, but now she felt scared because of a tiger, an animal who couldn’t even say a single word, it was normal for her to feel humiliated by that, her pride was hurting.
“I need to be stronger to be able to even escape this place, and killing that tiger will be in the process, only like that I can restore by pride, but first, I got to wait for him to go away”
Iko said as she started to drink blood from her syringe.
“Finally! I killed over 100 monsters for this!”
Iko yelled as she saw the screen Infront of her.

Iko was so exhausted she could sleep in the corpse of the golem she just killed, it was a torture to kill this guy, even while ignoring defenses the golem keep regenerating the rocks around, and she didn’t even knew about she had to destroy the nucleus to defeat him, it was a long battle.
“I wonder what I will get… with my stats, most definitely some kind of mage or witch, I have 100 in mystic by now so most probably”
Iko tried to remember what she was told by that one adventurer that passed by her town some years ago.
“so, the physical stat helps with your endurance, health condition, and strength… mental was more defense against mental attacks, better mental attacks and it would help you keep calm in situations, allowing you to understand better your surroundings and enemies, and mystic was the power of your magical abilities with your magical capabilities… so most definitely some kind of mage… huh?”
Iko was interrupted by a new notification, covering her job change notice, this one was red.

“Uh, well that’s kind of racist”
[Looking for alternatives… 10%]
“Now I got to wait for it to be done charging?! Cmon! This is unfair!”
As iko was screaming her lungs out as how unfair it was, she decided to look for a “grey” monster, those were tastier than normal monsters but still behind corrupted ones.
Half an hour later, as she was munching on some “T-rex” as the system called it, she had no idea what it was, the system finally finished charging.

Screamed Iko as her body was full of pain out of nowhere and she started losing conscious, not before seeing some kind of egg closing around her.
“Rick I already told you we shouldn’t get so near to a forbidden zone!” yelled Saphire as Rick was running to the edge of the land of dragons.
“You worry to much Saph, the dragons won’t attack us unless we enter, we must take a look now that we found it! We are adventurers for a reason!” Yelled Rick as he got to the peak of the mountain, just in the edge of the forbidden zone, “We would make a fortune if we found a dragon rock or something!”
“and it will cost me a fortune to do the funeral if you are eaten by a dragon!” yelled Saphire as she also got to the peak.
“Saph, are you seeing the same thing as me?” asked Rick with a worried tone.
“If you mean that ray of black energy piercing the sky, the yes, I’m not sure if anyone would miss it, it feels wrong to look at it, as if it didn’t exist but it’s there… what the hell is happening in the land of the dragons?!”
