Chapter 68: The Kings Icy Dominion

As Arfrotian honored Glacialix’s unwavering love and efforts, he finally let out a sigh and said,

“Even though I have given you this position, it still doesn’t feel enough, you know?

I mean, when someone is willing to destroy the very thing they were meant to protect—just for someone else—how could you even depict that kind of love?

I had nothing else to give you, Glacialix. I just hope this is at least satisfactory to you. But even then… you are important to me.”

Hearing this, Glacialix felt like she was on the ninth sky.

It was already overwhelming for her. She never expected so much honor, nor did she desire it. To her, Arfrotian had already proven how much he valued his promise to her. That was all she needed. That was why she had gone to such lengths—why she had unleashed everything she had against that barrier, desperate to reach him while he was in pain.

But now… for Arfrotian to do all this for her in return, it truly felt rewarding beyond words.

She could only smile, her heart pounding wildly, as she replied in a soft but devoted voice:

“Master, this is already enough. I never expected to be honored this much… I only did what I wanted to do. This is already too much for me…”

Arfrotian knew then that he had her completely.

After bestowing Glacialix her well-deserved title as his Ice Queen, his gaze slowly shifted. His calm, royal-like aura now bore a dangerous edge as he turned his attention elsewhere.

His piercing blue eyes landed on Zenian.

The so-called fallen archangel was still frozen in place, utterly stunned. His mind couldn’t process what had just happened. How? How could an outsider—a complete nobody—become the ruler of the Icy Omniverse!?

His face twisted with sheer disbelief, his pride shattering into dust.

“No… No… This isn’t happening! This is impossible! YOU THINK YOU DESERVE THIS CROWN!?”

His voice cracked with pure resentment. His entire being trembled with rage as he continued,

“You PATHETIC nobody of an OUTSIDER! You just barge in here… take what you want…

DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW LONG I’VE BEEN PLANNING FOR THIS!? FOR EONS,

I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT! BUT YOU! YOU JUST WALK IN AND TAKE EVERYTHING FROM ME!? WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!?”

Glacialix’s icy blue flames flared up instantly.

Her body began to radiate a terrifying chill, her aura surging with raw, overwhelming bloodlust.

She didn’t even try to suppress it.

Her glare turned into something demonic—feral.

She wasn’t just angry. She was absolutely livid.

Her narrowed, glowing blue eyes screamed murder.

To her, Zenian was nothing but trash.

A pest. A disgusting parasite that had dared to insult her master.

To think this lowly being had the audacity to speak against Arfrotian, her beloved Master, after everything he had done… after the sheer grace he had just displayed…

  "YOU BASTARD!!”

  Zenian flinched.

Glacialix’s voice alone felt like death.

Arfrotian, however, remained calm. He merely chuckled. Then, he turned to his Ice Queen and gave her a gentle but firm smile.

  “It’s okay, Glacialix.”

His tone was calm, yet commanding.

“Remember, don’t lose your temper just because someone is taunting you. Think with your brain, not with your heart. That heart is meant for us. Not for trash like him. Understood, My Ice Queen?”

The moment he called her My Ice Queen, it was over.

Glacialix’s rage vanished in an instant.

It was as if nothing had ever happened.

Her murderous aura disappeared, replaced with a deep, flustered red blush.

Her entire body shivered—not from the cold, but from something else entirely.

Her expression shifted from deadly rage to a bashful, almost maiden-like look.

She lowered her gaze, too embarrassed to even meet Arfrotian’s eyes.

She bit her lower lip before finally whispering, “As you wish, Master…”

  Zenian watched this in horror.

  This… This couldn’t be real.

This wasn’t the terrifying guardian of the Eternal Frostheart.

This wasn’t the legendary Ice Phoenix he had once desired for himself.

  No.

This was just… another blushing woman completely tamed by that MAN.

Zenian gritted his teeth so hard they almost cracked.

  He couldn’t take it.

He had planned to make Ice Phoenix his.

  To dominate her.

To have his way with her.

  But now… everything was ruined.

And it was because of HIM.

  That MAN.

Zenian’s body shook in blind rage as Arfrotian suddenly stepped forward.

With every step, Eternal Frostheart pulsed in his hand.

  His walk was casual.

But to Zenian, it looked like the march of a divine monarch.

The walk of a true king.

Zenian’s vision turned red with fury.

  “YOU! YOU THINK YOU’VE WON!?”

  Arfrotian simply smirked.

“Yo, Lab Rat, did you miss me?”

  Zenian froze.

Arfrotian continued, “Like seriously, I literally cursed myself for not thinking about you this whole time. Can you believe that? The mighty Zenian, reduced to a mere afterthought! Damn, I almost feel bad.”

Zenian’s face turned purple with rage.

“THEN WHY!? WHY ARE YOU THE KING!? AN OUTSIDER LIKE YOU SHOULDN’T EVEN HAVE THE RIGHT TO RULE THIS OMNIVERSE!!”

  Arfrotian smirked again.

“Oh, my dear Rat, you still don’t get it, do you?”

  His tone turned sharp.

“The reason I became this Omniverse’s ruler… is because I actually became a part of it.”

  Zenian’s breath hitched.

Arfrotian continued, “But of course, you wouldn’t understand. After all, you only know how to tame and discipline MY Glacialix, right?”

  Zenian choked.

Before he could counter, Arfrotian’s voice grew even colder.

“Listen well, Lab Rat. I didn’t become a King because I wanted to. And it’s not because the people wanted me to be. I took this position because those who matter to me thought I deserved it.

If becoming a King means I can protect what is mine…

If it means securing those important to me…

Then I will gladly take the throne.”

  Zenian was speechless.

  And Arfrotian wasn’t done yet.

“You say you planned for eons?”

  His smirk widened.

“Then tell me, Lab Rat, what do you call it when your so-called ‘master plan’ only led you into my hands?”

  Zenian’s pupils shrank.

“I used you like a test subject. I made you my Lab Rat. You danced in my palm while thinking you were in control.”

Arfrotian leaned in. His whisper was deadly.

  “That’s not my fault.”

“That’s your fault, because you failed to grasp that your opponent might not even know your plan, as if they couldn’t retrospect and introspect you from inside out.”

  Zenian’s mind went blank.

  He had lost.

  And Glacialix?

She was standing beside Arfrotian, her expression one of pure admiration.

Her Master was simply too cool.
