Chapter 75: The Ice Queens Feathery Fate

Glacialix soared through the cold, endless skies of the Icy Omniverse, heading toward Rodentia, her massive phoenix wings slicing through the frozen air as Arfrotian sat comfortably on her back. The journey was swift, the atmosphere silent, save for the sound of icy winds brushing against them. Yet, within Glacialix’s mind, something was stirring—a question that she could no longer hold back.

Without turning her head, she spoke, her voice carrying through the wind.

"Master, I wanted to ask something..."

Arfrotian, already predicting her curiosity, smirked slightly. His sharp mind had already pieced together what she might ask. He spoke before she could clarify.

"Huh? Is it about why we are heading to Rodentia? I mean, after all, it's just a battle between two races—angels and shadow elves, right?"

Hearing his words, Glacialix nodded her great phoenix head in confirmation. But she wasn’t done yet. There was more to this than just a war. She added,

"Master, you said you were going there for something more, not just the fight between them, right?"

A sly, knowing smile crept across Arfrotian's lips.

"My dear Ice Queen, tell me—do you remember how an outside Omniversal ruler was working with Zenian? Trying to use the Eternal Frostheart as a tool to locate Eterna?"

Glacialix let out a sharp screech in frustration. Just the thought of that disgusting omniversal ruler trying to take advantage of Eterna made her feathers bristle with irritation.

"Yes, Master, and let me just say—I would love to give that bastard a solid kick to the gut myself. Please, see to it that I get that chance!"

Arfrotian laughed, amused at her enthusiasm.

"Oh, don’t worry, my Ice Queen. You’ll have your chance. Though, let's focus on why we’re really going to Rodentia first. If that omniversal ruler is truly helping Zenian, wouldn't it be reasonable to assume that he’d send reinforcements for him as well?"

Realization dawned on Glacialix instantly. Her bright blue phoenix eyes widened in understanding.

"So, Master, you mean… outsiders will come to help his faction?"

Arfrotian nodded. His smirk deepened, his sharp mind already ten steps ahead.

"Not just that. The real danger is that he might take Zenian with him—to discipline him into becoming his dog. That way, when the time comes, Zenian will obey his every command. That omniversal ruler will force Zenian to wield the Eternal Frostheart at his will, using it as a tool to locate Eterna’s true form."

Glacialix gritted her beak in anger.

Zenian was doomed either way. He had already lost everything—his honor, his dignity, his pride. And now, if that ruler took him, he'd just become a slave to a higher power.

But then something else struck her.

She turned her head slightly and asked, "But Master… aren’t you the ruler of this Omniverse now? Aren’t you the true wielder of the Eternal Frostheart? After all, you passed its trials, overcame its backlash, and proved yourself worthy… wouldn’t they come after you instead?"

  Arfrotian chuckled.

Before he could even answer, Glacialix cut in, her voice determined.

"Master! If they do come for you, they’re going to have to pass through me first! I won’t let anyone lay a single finger on you!"

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

Arfrotian couldn't help but admire how devoted she was.

His Ice Queen was completely, absolutely, and utterly his.

His gaze softened slightly as he said, "Don’t worry, my dear Ice Queen, that won’t be necessary for now. Remember—I commanded the Eternal Frostheart to freeze itself along with Zenian?"

Glacialix’s mind raced, piecing together the strategy. "Master… do you mean… that you’re going to make it seem as though Zenian was actually wielding the Eternal Frostheart, but it ended up freezing him instead?"

A devious smirk spread across Arfrotian's lips.

"That’s exactly right, my Ice Queen."

The realization hit Glacialix like a crashing glacier.

"Then… Master! That means the reinforcements will focus entirely on Zenian! Their only objective will be retrieving him back! They won’t even care about the bigger picture!"

Arfrotian nodded. "And in doing so, they'll waste precious time trying to break him free. This omniverse is already famous for its ice, so it'll take substantial effort to thaw Zenian and the Eternal Frostheart out of that frozen state."

Glacialix’s wings flapped in excitement as she screeched in admiration. "Master, you're terrifying as always! Like, even if they say broke Zenian and that Eternal Frostheart out of ice, they won't know that the actual command of Eternal Frostheart lies with you, Zenian, he’ll be in such a shocked and panic-stricken state that he won’t even be able to tell them anything!"

  Arfrotian smirked. "Exactly."

He leaned back suddenly, letting himself fall onto Glacialix’s feathery back like it was a soft, comforting bed.

  Glacialix panicked.

"M-MASTER! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! YOU MAY FALL IF YOU’RE NOT CAREFUL!"

Arfrotian, in a sleepy voice, simply mumbled, "Mmm, Glacialix… it’s not my fault. It’s your fault… Why the hell are your feathers so, so… damn soft…? You know, they feel like a divine bed… filled with the royal feathers of a graceful and beautiful bird… like, really… they’re so soft that I might just never, ever want to get off you, my Ice Queen…"

  Glacialix.exe has stopped responding.

  Her mind?

  MELTING.

  Her soul?

  DISINTEGRATING.

  Her entire phoenix body?

  LITERALLY BURNING UP.

If she were in her human form right now, her face would be crimson red and steaming like a volcano.

  She stuttered uncontrollably.

  "M-M-MASTER!! B-BUT STILL, THAT’S NOT A BED!!"

But deep down? She was SCREAMING inside.

He called her graceful. He called her beautiful.

  HER MASTER ENJOYED HER FEATHERS.

  AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Arfrotian, however, wasn’t done with his boldest move yet.

With a smirk, he declared, "My Ice Queen… isn’t your purpose me? Then that means… you belong to me, right? That means this back of yours is now my personal favorite bed, okay?"

  Glacialix’s brain: DEAD.

  Glacialix’s sanity: GONE.

  Glacialix’s soul: LEAVING HER BODY.

Her whole phoenix form heated up from her sheer, overwhelming embarrassment. HOW THE HELL WAS SHE SUPPOSED TO RESPOND TO THAT?!

  But it got worse.

Arfrotian, now getting way too comfortable, murmured, "Mmm… wake me up when we reach Rodentia, okay? Oh, and before I forget… let’s name this bed… hmm… ‘Heavenly Love Bed.’ Yeah. That sounds absolutely right."

And with that, Arfrotian fell asleep, completely at peace, as if this was just another normal day.

Meanwhile, Glacialix was mentally SCREAMING HER LUNGS OUT.

Her Master had officially claimed her back as his personal bed.

  And even worse?

  She didn't even mind it.
