"Hey, Fiif" said Anya, her voice soft and filled with affection
"You need to come out of the box, it's not healthy" she continued and sat on her knees next to a large cardboard box filled with blankets. The box stirred a bit and a low whine was heard.
"I can't begin to understand how all these psychic things work, but I do know that it is not good for your mental health to keep replaying past events in your head" she said somberly while softly patting the box.
"You will need to focus on other things to take your mind away"
Slowly a head peaked out of the box, Faesol's purple eyes locking into Anya's red ones. "How do you deal with these feelings? How are you not affected? Why aren't you scared? You were almost killed" her voice quieting down, barely a whisper in the end.
"Oh, Faesol, I feel happy that you are so concerned about me"
"But the thing is, this isn't the first time I have been attacked by a bear"
"I haven't really told you much about my past, when I was still a Human" Anya said while she gazed at nothing in particular, her mind reliving some of her memories.
"As a Holt, my family owned a lot of land. Most of it were parks and nature preserves, but some of it was for consumption, we grew and cut wood on regular basis. We were one of the largest forestry companies in the world."
"I like nature and I often took walks and tours around our family property, my parents weren't that impressed with me as I had no drive to learn to run the family business, but at the very least they let me go around the family properties."
"One day, A huge bear was reported entering one of our reservoirs, I unfortunately just happened to be camping there at the time too. I was scared out of my mind when I saw IT. The hulking mass of a bear slowly approaching my camp site. Most likely smelling the fish I had been cooking on the campfire."
"The bear, it slowly came closer and closer and I knew I had to do something, my mind yelling that I had to get away as fast as possible, but my body didn't obey at all. I was paralyzed by fear."
"It took my fish and ate it in a single bite, it then started rummaging around my campsite, looking for more food. I was slowly shuffling away, the bear being inside the tent I saw my chance."
"The first proper step I took I accidentally stepped on a branch, I swear it was the loudest snap I have ever heard, the bear heard it too. My heart racing and adrenaline pumping through my veins I ran, I ran as fast as I could not looking back. What I hadn't known at the time was that, bears are surprisingly fast runners."
"I heard a tree crack and the Bear was barreling through the forest at high speed, coming after me, I... Well I was so scared at the moment, the distance I had made between me and it was disappearing in seconds. Just as it was catching up to me I heard a very loud boom from somewhere in front of me, the loud sound causing me to stumble, losing my balance I fell. I thought 'This is the end, I'm going to die' at the moment"

"Waiting for the inevitable, I lay motionless at the ground, not noticing the odd quietness around me, no stomps, no trees nor branches cracking. As if the whole world had gone silent, the leaves didn't rustle and the whole forest felt still."
"Then I heard a voice nearby, it said 'Are you okay missy?'" Anya tried to mimic a gruffy old man.
"I was saved, a hunter sent by my father to track down the bear had shot the bear when he saw it chasing me. At the time I was in a shock and most things after were hazy."
"Next thing I remember is waking up in a hospital, the door was left open and my father was there talking with the hospital staff, I also saw a glimpse of the hunter from the side."
"It took me a while to get my bearings and I even now when I think about the bear, I can only remember the general shape of it, I can't seem to remember any details from the bear itself, only that it was a large bear, even the color of the fur didn't stick in my mind which is quite funny. So in my mind the dangerous bear is this black and white blob." she finished with a chuckle.
"Comparing the Ursaring to the bear of that time, that felt like nothing remotely similar, it felt like something was pushing me to stand against it, I didn't feel helpless like that time in the forest. Something in my body told me that I was going to be okay."
The feline was quietly listening Anya to start rambling this and that, small little things how her life had been. Her mind deeply focused on Anya's words instead of mulling over past 'nightmares'.
The odd therapy-ish session ended with an odd rumble of Anya's stomach.
Anya fell on to her stomach when she tried to get up, she found out that her legs had become numb.

After a filling dinner she went back to her room while carefully balancing a bowl of pokéchow, an unsavory assortment mix of food squished into pellets, at least to Anya. Faesol seemed to enjoy them at least.
Anya placed the bowl nearby for Faesol to eat when she becomes hungry enough, but just barely far away that she would have to extract herself to eat. Alas a purple glow surrounded the bowl and carried it next to the box, where one by one, pieces of food flew into a hole.
"You know, that is quite impressive, even if a bit lazy" her eyes following the trail of food. "I hope you don't make a mess accidentally, I don't want the blanket to smell like food"
Leaving Faesol to eat by herself, she went back downstairs. Where Samuel was reading a piece of mail he had just received. The multitude of mildly irritated humpfs later, he sighed and reached out for his cup of tea, only to find it empty.
He then reached for the kettle for a refill, also empty, his eyes never leaving the piece of paper.
He then stood up and set the paper back on the table, only then he noticed movement, he saw Anya arriving from the upstairs.
"Good news, the construction of the lab is complete" he said nonchalantly
"Bad news, I have to start working as a Pokémon professor and I don't have much time to my other projects and I'll have to put this house on sale. I have been able to postpone most of my work with the reason of waiting for my lab to finish"
The rest of the evening went fast as Anya and Samuel had started packing for the inevitable move.
