The next morning came out faster than both Samuel and Anya had liked to, unsurprisingly neither of them had slept at all during the night. The early morning rays shined through the windows taking Anya and Samuel by surprise as they still sat on the sofa, this time the controller was laid in front of Anya and she was using the tip of her cutters to press the buttons, it wasn't that effective but some games could be played slow enough to work around the limitations.
Anya has never been a fan of the old games, her first memories of gaming was when she received a gameboy as a present along with a Pokémon Yellow cardridge. She soon grew out of gaming and had focused more on studying. Only when she was hospitalized for the rest of her Human life had she started to play games again, her favourites were still the Pokémon games, she played them all, all the newest releases up to the Legends Arceus. She knew that Scarlet and Violet were coming out as it was announced few months after Legends Arceus.
Out of all the games Samuel had shown her, she could only play the ones where quick and precise inputs weren't required.
A ring of the doorbell alerted them both, a knock followed afterwards. Samuel stood up and went to the door after patting his clothe, he opened the door and a man in a blue, white outfit and a white cap greeted him.
"Hi, I'm Jock. From the moving firm Mach&Jock. We are on here with a league contract and are supposed to pick up your stuff and move it to other side of town."
He looked at Samuel and held out a piece of paper
"Wait, I think I know you" said Jock
"You are that Professor guy, everyone was talking about a while back. Cool" he continued as Samuel took the paper and started reading it.
"Huh, the league likes to work fast I see" Samuel said
"Sorry about the mess, we have most of the stuff ready. You can start with those boxes under the staircase" Samuel instructed

A bit of explaining and a bit more packing, the work was well on its way, Jock had a pair of Machoke helping him set everything inside the truck.
A small trip later, the truck arrives at the freshly built lab.
The Machoke being professionals didn't waste any time and started unloading the truck. While the others took a small tour around the place. They first arrived at a small lobby, where a curving desk was jutting out of the wall, having similar look to a reception counter.
On either side of the lobby were one door leading to a toilet. Going past the reception counter was a door leading to the first room, it was a huge open space filled with long tables and tall bookshelves. This room was meant to be the main laboratory, spacious enough to fit almost any full grown Pokémon easily with room to spare, the room itself was clearly well lit as daylight found its way easily inside through the windows. Even the ceiling lights lit up the whole room.
Behind the main room were a storage room and a break room.
The storage room had metallic shelves on one side, to easily help organize things. Inside the break room was a small kitchen area, with a stove, fridge and a freezer and a few different storage options for kitchenware. The room was big and could easily fit a dozen or so people. The break room, connected to the backyard and had a staircase leading to upstairs and basement levels.

Continuing their tour around the house they found that the upstairs were a normal household area with a bath, kitchen, 1 master bedroom and 2 smaller ones with an open living room, the basement was just a huge empty storage area.
Samuel instructed Jock and the Machoke to carry most of the stuff upstairs after the tour. When everything was settled it was time for a quick nap and a snack. At this point he had hard time staying awake.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
While Anya and Samuel slept Faesol was awake, as she didn't stay up the whole night, she didn't think games were a thing to loose your naps over. She went out through the back door, using her psychic powers to twist the lock open.
She saw a huge open space limited with a fences next to the forest's edge, while the warm rays of the sun greeted her, the whole area felt nice, she moved around. The uncut and overgrown grass covering half of her body, she was looking for a place to take a nap in the sunlight.
She found a small clearing in the grass, a place where the grass was short enough to lay down. At first she sat on the spot, basking in the midday sun, slowly her eyes grew more and more tired until she too was fast asleep.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
A few hours later, Faesol was woken up by something moving in the fields, it had disturbed the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. A series of rustles was heard all around her, Faesol's tired eyelids tried to look for the source of the rustles.
Something was moving on the tall grass, it couldn't be anything too big unless it was moving underground. Faesol perked her ears, trying to locate the intruder.
Suddenly the rustling became more agitated, faster pacing and heading towards her, Faesol wasn't sure what was going on, she still took a low stance. The rustling getting louder and louder. Then everything went quiet, as if nothing had happened.
The sudden uncanny silence caused Faesol fur to bristle, getting all pointy. The silence lasted longer than she would have liked and in a true feline fashion, she decided to leave, to go back to the house. Looking around, she couldn't find the large white and red building in any direction, she peeked over and over again over the tall grass, finding out that the building had mysteriously disappeared.
She couldn't see as the tall grass seemed to subtly grow taller and taller, overtaking her height. Faesol now had to jump to see over the grass, she didn't have enough time to think as the rustling continued, she was startled and ran away from the noise as fast as she could.
Faesol desperately wished that Anya was there alongside her. "What would Anya do?" she thought out loud while running. "She would... she would... I don't know!" The rustling was getting closer, louder, something was gaining on her. Then again it stopped.
All of a sudden something burst out from the grass behind her, before she could see what it was, everything flashed white.
She woke up still scared, her fur standing up, a nightmare, just a nightmare, she found herself in the embrace of Anya. Who had somehow found her inside the grass field and was carefully holding onto her.
"You scared me" Said Anya "It has been hours".
True to her words the sun was already setting.
"Come on, let's go in, There's some food ready"
As they both got up and left for the house. A while later a creepy laughter was left unnoticed as it resounded in the field.
