Before Cedric prepared for his sed usage of [Diviervention: Dream]. Humanity’s Sacred kingdom is filled with gloom. One of the king’s closest aides, Yasu, has entered a a.

During the one versus three battle against Gratian, the injuries Yasu received from Gratian’s ba had deteriorated.

Even though he has been blessed by Divine Might, Yasu has retly fallen into a a and could no loand up from his bed. When that happens, the retaitending to him quickly ran toward Lacius after pg Yasu in a safe room.

“Yhness, Lord Yasu has fallen unscious!” Ihe throne room, Lacius quickly discarded everything he currently does and turned his head to Hars that stood nearby, “Hars, e and follow me!”

Both of them followed after the retainers and ran into the room where Yasu was resting. Luckily, after giving his title as a city lord to someone else, Yasu has been staying in the pace. So, the location where Yasu currently rested be reached within a short time.

Nodding at the person guarding the door, they quickly e and saw the middle aged man with both of his eyes closed. o the unscious Yasu sat an elderly woman with a thick smell of medie. She pced one of her hands on Yasu as a gentle gloeared on her palm.

“Granny Maude, how is Yasu’s dition?” Lacius asked granny Maude, who’s busy using her power to heal Yasu. Beside Lacius, Hars tried to shook Yasu awake but to no avail

“Don’t shake him!’” Granny Maude swatted Hars’s hand away before turning to Lacius and shook her head. “My deepest apologies, yhness. This old woman has tried everything at my disposal and still failed. I only use my blessed power and hope for the best. Furthermore, lord Yasu’s situation is quite serious and I don’t think he will wake up in the near future.”

When Lacius heard the old woman’s response, he quickly shouted, “Go around the kingdom and gather every physi. Actually, gather ah any experien tending to wounds. I’ll reward nobility for anyone who succeeded in healing Yasu!

At such a time, he couldn’t think of anything except for asking help from others. This situation makes Lacius feels helpless

Outside of the room, both the retaihat brought Lacius into the room and the one guarding outside the door quickly left and spread his will to the others.

Within a day, dozens of physis from Winter City had gathered. One by ohey ehe room and began their diagnosis. On the side, granny Maude observed those physis to make sure nothing untoward would happen to Yasu.

Once all the physi has checked asu, Lacius said. ‘I want everyoo discuss and prescribe a medie to cure him. No matter the ingredients you need, I’ll ask my subordio collect it.

The dozens of physis nodded and began discussing a way to make a cure.

Soon, more and more physis from the surrounding cities started to arrive and checked Yasu’s dition. Led by granny Maude, they prescribed dozens of medies that might be of help.

When he saw it, Lacius nodded and told his subordio collect all the ingredients required. Within a week, all materials required had been gathered and every physi showed their skills to try and wake Yasu from his a.

Yet, even after those physis almost tried all of their cocted medie, Yasu still hasn’t shown any sign of waking up.

Luckily, just when Lacius begins to lose hope, one of the medies seems to be w as Yasu’s coughing voice be heard from the room.

Lacius quickly ehe room and saw Yasu currently sitting on his bed while being helped by granny Maude who has activated her healing ability once more. Soon after, Hars followed after him and also ehe room.

Hearing the sound of the door opening, Yasu turned his head and looked at the two who had turned paler from exhaustioared bnkly for a moment befhing weakly. “Hahahaha! Even though I am the one who has fallen unscious. But, you both look even worse than me.”

Initially, looking at Yasu who has woken up and could even crack a joke already, Lacius should’ve been happy. Yet, a feeling of gloominess preserved in his heart. Especially when he saw the weak Yasu and the expression on granny Maude’s face. That bad feeling got worse and he involuntarily frowned.

Sure enough, when Yasu looked at the frowning Lacius, he stopped ughing and spoke in a low voice. “Yhness, you stop it. There is o look for other means to save me. I know my body the best and it couldn’t st for much lohis might evehe st time I opened my eyes.”

Lacius just silently listeo Yasu and turned his gaze to granny Maude.

She raised her head and Lacius as sweat dripped from her wrinkly skin. stantly activating her healing power has taken a great toll on her and exhausted her old body.

“Urgh, I start to feel dizzy” In the silent room, Yasu’s voice is incredibly deafening. Lacius turo observe Yasu as he slowly fell asleep. On the side, granny Maude’s old face turned even paler as she activated her healing power even faster than ever.

Soon, Yasu fell unscious and stopped moving. On his side, granny Maude pced her hand on Yasu before shaking stopped using her ability.

With an expressionless face, Lacius merely watched everything happening in sile the same time, sadness, anger, and an unknown fear flooded his heart. It all finally amalgamated into a simple sigh that came out of his mouth. “Sigh… Hars, go and collect artisans from Winter City.”

Hars nodded ahe room. Soon, granny Maude followed suit, leaving Lacius to silently watch Yasu’s corpse with red eyes.

After Lacius left Yasu’s room, he rested auro the throne room, waiting for Hars to gather artisans from the city. With the help of those artisans, he po build a graing pce for Yasu.

Yasu’s tomb became humanity’s first mausoleum. Although not siderable in size, it is filled with stone and wooden engraving made by the best artisans. There are also many broatues and accessories decorating the interior of the mausoleum.

After handling Yasu’s burial, Lacius tinued his life meically. He ate, rested, and handled official matters. Until one day he finally rested and dreamed of something for the first time in a long time.

He feels himself asding to the sky before arriving above the clouds.

Lacius observed his surroundings and found himself stepping on a cloud while there were faint mists surrounding him. Above, some golden lights shone on the clouds below him while most of them were blocked by the faint mists. All of those binations give a sacred feeling to the area.

After the location he is in, Lacius found a few other silhouettes that appeared and finally solidated into two figures. One of them is a short and stout figure with a messy beard surrounding his face, just like other humans, he wore clothes made out of animal skin. As for the other one, she is a beautiful golden haired woman wearing clothes made of giant leaves. She held an intricately decorated bronze scepter with one hand while on her head, there was a beautiful ade of flowers.

‘Are they a different kind of humans? There are actually humans beyond the Sacred Kingdom’s rule?’ He khere were slight differences among humans from different cities, whether it is in terms of skin colors. eye colors, or hair colors. But, the difference won’t be too much.

Whether it is the oh a stout body or the woman with sharp ears, both of them differ too much from the other humans that he has seen. It’s as if they’re of different races altogether.

Lacius turned his head and attempted to strike a versation with the beautiful womao him, “Greetings, may I know which city you e from?”

The beautiful woman turned her head and tilted it. She then spoke in a nguage that he never heard before.

The realization that woman actually used a different nguage is quite shog. But, what’s even more important is that the voice that came out of the woman is quite mase!

Lacius quickly moved his eyes and observed the woman once more. While staring at her neck, he actually found a bulge on it, a mark that only male humans have.

That realization shook him to the core and made him freeze in shock.

‘What! Is she actually a he?’

What a pity, the human nguage hasn’t advanced enough. Otherwise the words that e out of Lacius’s mouth would be even more colorful.

While he stood there the feminine man with a sharp ear. The mists in front of them slightly parted and a figure whose face was hidden behind a light appeared. Their bodies stantly ged from tall to short, from female to male, from humans like him to one of simir form to the stout man aiful mao him.

“Long time no see.” The figure said with a voice that seems to be the bination of several voices of varying gender and age. They then sed him and the other two before speaking once more. “Hmm? Well, actually only one of you has seen me as the human race’s representative has just died. So, I’ll reintroduce myself.”

While spreading their arms, the figure said. “I am the creator of the Crystal Cube World. The world where you currently reside in.”

Hearing the mysterious figure’s sentence, Lacius suddenly thought of something and his eyes widened in disbelief. “No way, he is actually real !?!”

The figure turheir head upon hearing his word and asked, “Hmm? What’s wrong?”

“A- are you the god Gratian has always talked about?” Lacius tried his best to be calm, yet he still failed to stop his voice from slightly trembling.

Even though he couldn’t see their faces, Lacius could feel the figure slightly smiled as it answered, “Perhaps.”

While frozen in shock, Lacius heard some voiing from the stout man standing nearby. The nguage that beardy short stout man spoke differs greatly from the human’s and the sharp eared feminine man’s.

The mysterious figure turned his head toward the stout man and seemed to be listening to his words. After the stout man stopped talking, they suddenly said, “This is the dream space I created. When you wake up, you’ll still be at your house. I pulled you as the representative for the dwarven race.”

The stout man spoke once more and the figure replied, “Mmhm, the dwarven race already has knowledge of metallurgy, so I didn’t bother to summon you before.”

“Well, let’s stop the introdu se here, my time is quite limited afterall.” The unknown figure raised his hand and motioned for the so-called dwarven race man to stop before tinuing, “I summoned everyoo share important information for your respective races and help advance your civilization.”

When the figure said that, Lacius somehow felt he would get shocked quite often today. The shock might even be enough to make him fet about the sadness from Yasu’s death.
