Chapter 30: Arguing.
Ruina: “Celia, could you please just TRY to not get grievously injured for… at least a few months?!” She pleaded sincerely.
Celia: “Look, Ruina, this is the tenth time you’ve repeated this question…” She sighed in reply.
Ruina: “Yeah, because you haven’t answered me!!!” She loudly exclaimed back.
Celia: “Correct. Because it is funny to listen to you marinate in your anger.” She said with a haughty laugh.
Ruina: “(- _ -)”
Like a hawk, Ria looked all around for any threats, knowing that, not only could she not let Celia get hurt, as she might die, but that occurring would permanently destroy her heart.
After sleeping for just two days, Celia woke up, and then returned completely to normal. She didn’t blame Ria for having to protect her own maid, only asking about what happened to the assassin. And, currently, like as they planned before that event, Ria and Celia were walking to the Adventurer’s Guild.
Carma tried to get Celia to accept being driven there via a carriage, but she refused. In her life, the trip with Tin was the first time she had ever been in a carriage before. From that, Celia developed a disdain for such means of transport.

Unfortunately, these dislikes were from how rough of a ride it was, and Herm’s attack, leaving a stain on Celia’s heart. That carriage was pretty cheap, and the ones that princesses like Celia have access to… were miles better. Celia, in the future, will realize this, and feel like a silly fool.
Ruina: “…”
Celia: “Anyway, I protected Ria… because I am a higher Level than her. If I had known that the assassin possessed a crazy weapon, I would have pushed Ria out of the way, before then dodging it. I don’t have a death wish, silly.” She finally admitted.
Ruina: “Fine… I won’t argue with you about this anymore. Please… just be more careful in the future.” She pleaded once more.
Celia: “Being careful is for the weak!” She exclaimed, smugly.
Ruina: “( o_o)”
Celia: “Which I still consider myself to be. I did almost die…” She clarified, sounding upset.
Ria, seeing Celia looking sad, had the uncontrollable urge to comfort her. And… even though she knew it might bring about her death, the maid did so. Gently, she rubbed Celia’s head, feeling like a mother.
Celia: “Ria? What’s wrong?” She said with a confused head tilt.
Ria: “Nothing. I… just wanted to pat and rub your head, My Lady. Can I not?” She replied with a smile.
Celia: “Oh. Of course, you can, Ria.” She quickly agreed, not seeing a problem with this intimacy.
Celia’s memories of her parents were… non-existent. From this, the girl couldn’t get enough of when the maids, or Carma, treat her like a daughter/sister, pampering Celia all the way. Like this warm head pat by Ria… It was irresistible to the attention and loved starved princess.
Celia: “Ah, that looks like the Guild!” She happily informed, before then leading Ria inside with her, where a surprise was awaiting Celia.
Ria: “???”
Celia: “( ? _ ? )”
