Awakening of the system

Somewhere in Japan, in a house as large as a mansion and as elegant as a castle, an unusual commotion shook the walls.

A little girl, her hair disheveled and her cheeks flushed with excitement, was running everywhere. Her voice echoed through the halls:

"Dad! Hiro's eyes... they're all blue!"

In the living room, a man, absorbed in his newspaper, suddenly looked up. The paper slipped from his hands, and he leapt from his chair, eyes wide with shock.

"In your room?!" he exclaimed, panic creeping into his voice.

The little girl, still excited, nodded vigorously.

"Yes, yes! We were playing and..."

She didn't have time to finish. The man hurried up the stairs, his footsteps thundering.

When he reached the door of the room, he paused for a moment, out of breath. Then, with a quick motion, he opened it.

  He saw him.

Hiro, the boy, was sitting on the floor, motionless. His eyes were fixed on an invisible point, as though he was seeing something no one else could perceive. What stood out was the bright blue light emanating from his eyes, illuminating the entire room with an otherworldly glow.

The father put a hand to his mouth, a mix of awe and excitement flooding his mind.

"He's awakening..." he murmured, almost speechless.

Marine, the little girl, silently approached him from behind. She stopped, fascinated, and stared at Hiro, her mouth slightly open in wonder.

"Brother... is he going to become an executor?" she whispered softly.

The father, unable to contain his enthusiasm, let out a nervous laugh.

"Not just any executor, Marine... He will be great. Immense! HAHAHA!"

Without wasting a second, he turned to his daughter.

"Stay here and watch over your brother. I need to make an important call!"

He quickly disappeared, his heart racing. Meanwhile, Marine slowly approached Hiro, captivated by the blue light in his eyes.

"Brother..." she murmured, full of hope, unaware that this moment marked the beginning of a tragedy.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the world plunged into unimaginable chaos.

The portals of hell, sealed for centuries, suddenly opened, unleashing hordes of demons upon Earth. In a single day, one-third of humanity disappeared. Human weapons were useless against this apocalypse.

But amidst the despair, a glimmer of hope appeared.

Humans, chosen by a mysterious entity known as the System, were granted supernatural powers to fight the demons. They were called Executors, the protectors of humanity.

However, among them, a rare category stood out: the Born Executors.

Chosen by the System from conception, these beings possessed immense potential. When a Born Executor was born, every Executor received a message from the System, announcing the birth of a unique hope. The message specified the child's location, considered the greatest hope of their generation.

But this birth came at a terrible price: no mother of a Born Executor had ever survived.

The moment the message appeared, hundreds of Executors around the world looked up, stunned. Wherever they were—on skyscrapers, in deserts, or in the midst of battles—they all understood that a new hope had been born.

Hiro was that Born Executor, the only one of his century.

He instantly became a national treasure, protected by the Japanese government and surrounded by unimaginable privileges. His father, marked by the death of his wife after Hiro's birth, found new hope and dedicated his life to preparing his son to become the ultimate weapon against the demons.

Like the Born Executors before him, Hiro, at the dawn of his seventh year, was about to receive his power, the one that would make him the hero of his generation.

  ---

A few minutes after Hiro's father's call, an impressive scene unfolded in front of the mansion. A line of luxury cars, followed by police vehicles, stopped in complete silence. The sirens flashed, but no sound disturbed the heavy air of tension.

The door of the central limousine opened, and a man with a commanding presence stepped out. It was the Prime Minister himself, dressed in a black tuxedo, walking with confidence, but a glimmer of urgency in his eyes.

Ishida, Hiro's father, was waiting at the threshold, his hands trembling and his face marked by anxiety. He bowed deeply.

"G-Good morning, Mr. Prime Minister... I... I didn't expect you to come in person."

The Prime Minister gave him a reassuring smile, but his features remained serious.

"How could I miss such an important event? This is not just a moment for Japan, but for the whole world."

Ishida nodded, uncomfortable, and stepped aside to let the most powerful man in the country enter, accompanied by his guards and advisors.

"Take us to him. We must witness the awakening."

  ---

Inside the room, Hiro was still frozen, his eyes glowing with an intense blue light, like a flame in the darkness. He saw only the blue screen floating before him, like an unreal projection.

"Is it true... Am I really going to receive a power? Am I going to become a hero..." he thought, his heart pounding faster despite the pain.

The screen recounted the history of the Executors, from their first awakenings to the present. But suddenly, something changed.

The blue light flickered, like a screen disturbed by interference. Then it turned red. Hiro felt an indescribable tension fill his body.

The words alternated between blue and red, as if the System hesitated. The air around him became suffocating. An unbearable pressure crushed his chest.

Suddenly, the platform turned completely red and displayed words completely different from before:

It was then that the scream pierced the silence:

  "DAD!"

In the hallway, Ishida and the others stopped dead in their tracks, their hearts frozen with panic. Ishida rushed to the room, followed by the Prime Minister and his guards.

Inside, Hiro suddenly collapsed, his body convulsing violently. A massive amount of blood poured from his mouth, splattering the floor.

The Prime Minister, usually calm, recoiled, shocked. Ishida fell to his knees, screaming his son's name.

Hiro, in the darkness of his mind, felt his last breath escape.
