Buzz—Buzz—
A fsh of lightning.
Curious, Thor vanished into thin air, following the massive presence his powerful Mi had locked onto.
“Huh?” Afar’s face darkened. With his formidable Observation Haki, he could no longer sehor’s presence. Evidently, Thor had gooo far out e.
Without hesitation, he pulled out a Den Den Mushi and dialed the boy’s transponder receiver, demanding, “Thor-sama, where did you go? You promised me you wouldn’t run off before we left!”
He was uandably anxious. With Thor’s Rumble-Rumble Fruit powers, if he truly wao slip away, it wouldn’t be easy to track him down again.
“There’s a huge, glowing creature that just swam by, so I’m cheg it out. I’ll be back soon!” Thor’s voice came through from somewhere over the vast o.
A fierce wind howled as Thor sped along at incredible speed, wings beating as he locked onto the enormous being lurking in the depths below.
“It’s moving fast! If I wasn’t this quick, it would’ve already escaped my range!”
“A glowing creature?” Afar repeated, his shock evident. A thought sprang to mind, and though it seemed unbelievable, excitement lit his features.
“Thor-sama, did you get a good look at it?”
“No, just as it swam by, the sea’s surface lit up all of a sudden...” Thor answered, curiosity in his tone.
“Uncle Afar, do you know what it is?”
“We’ve been searg fiant nternfish that supposedly glows in the deep, but we haven’t found any trace of it,” Afar expined without hiding anything. “If this really is it, that’s a major find. El-sama and Linlin-sama will be thrilled!”
“A giant nternfish?” Thor echoed, stunned.
“Thor-sama, keep following it. Dal-sama and I will catch up to you using your Vivre Card!” Afar ordered without dey.
“No problem!”
Once he hung up, Afar took a deep breath.
He raised his voice toward Dal, who was still fighting Blood Fox Yasuo:
“Dal-sama, don’t drag this out anymore! Thor-sama just took off after something— we o catch up!”
“What?”
Blog Yasuo’s ining ssh, Dal shot Afar a look of surprise.
“Alright!” he agreed without hesitation. “I’ll finish this right now!”
“Heh, so sure of yourself, huh…?” Blood Fox Yasuo’s expression darkened.
Seeing Afar appear, he knew he was a dead man walking. But if he could at least drag someone down with him—or, perhaps, if he could seize this young Lunarian as a hostage—he might still stand a ce.
“I’m not uimating you,” Dal said pinly, “I’m simply stating the facts.”
In a fsh, Dal vanished.
Whoosh—Whoosh—
A storm of silver light engulfed Yasuo from every angle.
It was impossible to see where the attacks were ing from, and the onsught was relentless.
“g—g—”
Yasuo’s hair stood on end. He frantically swung his bde, relying on his Observation Haki just to bloe of the attacks. Even so, deep and bloody wounds tore across his body, leaving him horrified.
“Shift!”
An instant ter, Dal reappeared a few dozeers away, sheathing his bde with an imposing aura.
“One Sword Style: Quickdraw…”
“Die!”
Yasuo braced for an attack, but in the blink of an eye, he felt the world spin.
He tly teleported right in front of Dal.
“Tsk—”
In the split sed that followed, a chilling glint of steel fshed. Dal gave him no time to react.
“Dance of Death!”
With one lightning-fast ssh, Dal reappeared behind him, flig the blood from his bde before returning it to its sheath.
“S-so fast…”
Yasuo stood frozen, eyes wide, blood spraying from deep wounds.
He colpsed heavily to the ground, life snuffed out.
“Hahhh…”
Casting a brief g the lifeless corpse, Dal rose into the air on his bck wings and flew over to Afar, asking incredulously:
“Uncle Afar, what’s going on?”
“We’ll catch up to Thor-sama first, and I’ll expin on the way!” Afar answered, produg a small Vivre Card that drifted in a particur dire. He took the lead and soared after Thor’s location.
“Alright!” Still puzzled, Dal followed.
Meanwhile, out over unknown waters, Thor raced along above the sea, lightning sparking all around him. The thought of making a great discovery—and perhaps being praised by his father and mothers—filled him with excitement.
Gazing down at the roiling o, Thor’s eyes gleamed.
“Could that thing really be the nternfish they’ve been searg for?”
“Huh? It’s hiding at the bottom now?”
Lightning crackled over his arm, and Thor thrust his palm toward the water below.
“Then I’ll smoke you out… God's Judgement!”
Boom—Boom—
Whoosh—
Massive waves frothed, the electric bst electrog tless fish and sea creatures that floated to the surface, stunned.
Deep down, the colossal creature remained unharmed but was disturbed by the turmoil— and especially the intense fshing light.
“Bluuoooh—”
Suddenly, the surface of the sea lit up again.
A gargantuan “mp” emerged, followed by a vast, shadowy silhouette rising from the depths. A huge mouth, lined with razor-sharp teeth, lunged upward to swallow Thor whole.
Buzz—Buzz—
In the nick of time, Thor transformed into lightning and vanished.
“Woah, that’s huge!”
A thousaers above the sea, Thor reappeared in a crackle of electricity.
From his vantage point, he looked down at the leviathan, both startled and thrilled.
“It really is a nternfish! This is awesome!”
“Huh? That’s weird. Who’s singing?”
Using his Mi, he sensed an unusual singing voiing from ihe creature.
Staring in fasation at the colossal, ferocious nternfish, Thor murmured, “Is there someone is stomach?”
