  Arjun took a deep breath & started scratching his mustache but stoped midway instead he taped on his cheeks.

  "oh" in his head he started listing out stuff & counted them on his figure

  "filled the tiffin, changed cloths, filled water bottle, checked stuff & leave, i should also check if i have paper plates" As he was thinking the orange kitten shoved his head into the plate of white kitten, while the other cat had cleaned up there plate.

  "chotu no!" arjun got near the orange kitten directed him gently to other side of white kitten then moved the plate till they touched the paws of white kitten.

  "choti eat", he said & stood there while keeping the orange kitten, chotu & other cats away till the white kitten, choti cleaned up the plate.

  After this he got into the kitchen through the hall, picked up the tiffin from kitchen counter & filled it with in the small section of tiffin & put in large section, both were still hot so much so the steam can be seen coming out of it, he put that in kitchen counter & processed to go through drawers one after another for little bit.

  "No plates here"

  He took the tiffin then came back to the bedroom & put it up on the shelf high on same spot where he had taken plates he had given cats.

  "Let it cill. Lets see if i find them here"

  After going through some drawers in bedroom he thought

  "Bad luck, I will buy them on the way. Lets first change clothes"

  he changed into the black shirt with random math equation sketched all over & plane bluish pants.

  Then proceded to pick up the bag from the table next to bedroom door but the big orange cat was sitting on it.

  "oww, Shera thanks for keeping it safe. ", arjun scratched big orange cat, shera & started pulling his bag. He struggled but was successful at end, then he pulled a half filled bottle out of the bag then as he was going into kitchen, in hall he threw his bag on couch & continued walking, there he filled the bottle full, came back to the hall & put the water bottle into bag.

  Back to bedroom He pulled a handkerchief from hanger near shelf & started folding it while caming close to table where he took the bag from.

  He opened the drawer from that table, immediately Chotu got into the drawer. Arjun had a disappointed face as he should have known & been more careful. While arjun is completing choti sneaked from other side & as she was entering into drawer Arjun grabbed her & gently put her little far from drawer. He then immediately pulled out chotu, laptop & the charger. He put the chotu down then came into hall & put the laptop & charger into the bag.

  "Ok its time, lets check everything"

  Arjun starts to go through his bag & starts listing out stuff.

  "notebook, laptop, charger, water bottle, tiffin?..." After little bit of shuffling

  "Oh! ya on the shelf... "

  In bedroom Arjun picked up tiffin from the self, closed the lid of tiffin & put it into the bag.

  Then He put his hand in pocket & started listing stuff

  "handkerchief, wallet, coin wallet, earbuds & phone...."

  Arjun picked up the buzzing phone from teapoy near couch. It was alarm screen that showed the time. Arjun clicked the stop button & put phone in his poket.

  "got the phone, all set."

  Arjun quickly checked if stoves were off, are electronics ate unplugged, are the drawer closed & much more.

  He counted the cats "shera, spoty, chotu & choti, bye bye"

  After that is done he got out of his house, locked the door & pulled it.

  "Okey locked", Arjun left the premises & arrived at train station & caught the train at last moment.

  It was crowded but Arjun got off the train just after one stop.

  Now out of the train station he continued on his way. After some walking he stoped near a shop. From outside it seemed they sold party decorations.

  Arjun got into store & asked shopkeeper,

  "do you have paper plates?"

  The shopkeeper replied, "yes we have pack of 30,60 & 100, which one do you want?" While pointing toward the pile of paper plate packs.

  Arjun picked up pack of 30 & asked "don't you have anything smaller?"

  "no that is the smallest "

  "oh, then i will have this one, how much?"

  "50rs" said shopkeeper

  "here 50rs" Arjun give money to shopkeeper & put the pack in his bag

  Arjun then continued to walk & stopped at medical store with name plate "Saraswati medical store"

  Arjun stood at the store counter while the storekeeper is done talking with other customer, then he asked "do you have cat food for kitten,around one kg?"

  storekeeper replied "let me check" storekeeper got inside the store, shuffled through some stuff, "we have 1.2 kg, chicken flavoured & fish flavored which one do you want?"

  Arjun replied "fish one"

  shopkeeper bought a big packet of cat food with him & put it in front of Arjun on the counter

  "it will be 400rs", said shopkeeper

  arjun picks up the packet to read label

  "This will do."

  he hands money to shopkeeper & says "Thanks". Then puts the packet of cat food into the bag.

  Arjun continued walking down the footpath. He stopped at the same he had stopped before for a couple of seconds

  "Am i at right place?" Thought arjun and started looking around.

  While doing that he noticed on ground something white was splattered, it was bird poop.

  "oh, i guess i am late..."

  Arjun mumbled then continued walking.

  Now on the road beside the rail track he looked up ahead there was the old lady from before still alone...

  Arjun thought, "Should i offer her help? i mean her grandson was there with her..."

  After he closed some distance between him & the old ledy

  "might as well offer... it will still be good practice for similar situation"

  As he closed some more distance, the young boy approached the old ledy & they started climbing the bridge together.

  Arjun let out small breath of sigh & mumbled "good, i am late for sure now"

  He crossed the bridge & continued to walk till he reached the ally way where he had fed the kittens.

  As Arjun was approaching the hole in metal sheet wall, he pulls out pack of paper from his bag then tears the pack open. After reaching the hole he put 5 plates on the ground in front of that hole.

  Then pulls out the cat food paket from bag, tears it open & starts pouring it into the plates.

  "this should be enough" he mumbles as he poured the cat food into last plate.

  This time two kitten came out of the gap following the smell of cat food from one plate & they start eating from it. Arjun separate them so they will eat from seprate plates while doing this the other kitten also popped out & started eating from same plate he separated them as well so each kitten was eating in there seprate plate.

  "oh ya! the Adult cat", Arjun spoke & put out another paper plate down then started looking around while holding the cat food.

  The adult black cat came. While Arjun quickly poured some food into new plate the adult cat had shoved her head into the plate of kitten.

  He nudged the adult cat to direct her toward the new plate for her

  "hiss!!" she hissed as to show she was still very of Arjun.

  He picked up the new plate & held it right in front of adult cats mouth, As she started eating from the new plate He slowly put the plate on ground & thus was succeeded in directing her away from the plate of kitten. Arjun spoke with relief,

  "sheesh, at least you all get something to eat. Now lets think how to not die... "
