A week had passed since the final confrontation with Respyn and the frog monster. With no home to return to, Rosalie went out to buy some tents for everyone to live in in the meantime.
The day after the battle, Lura had received a call from her Captain, Ziame Tregor. She informed him of what had transpired, and of Respyn's capture. In return he told her that they had found someone with a warp capable ship willing to help them go get her.
Today was the day Lura would finally be able to head back to her home. A large ship lent to the Kitanian government by a planet they were on good terms with had been brought to Earth. They did their best to make sure not to alert anyone on Earth of their arrival, since they didn't want to make a panic for Earth's citizens. The ship parked In space, hidden behind Earth's moon.
Lura's ship had been parked in a large hangar on board that could fit a dozen ships the size of hers. Kitanian soldiers had come down to collect Respyn, since Lura's ship was not designed to carry more people than the pilot.
With everybody on board, the ship began to take its leave from Earth. Lura stood next to Captain Ziame, staring out the window giving one last look at Earth before they left. Ziame had spared Lura from having to do a formal report on what happened until they were back at Kitania and she had settled in.
“You had quite the adventure there. I believe this was your first time on another planet, right? Are you going to miss it?” Captain Ziame asked.
“It is certainly going to be somewhere I'll never forget, but I can't say I'll miss it. I didn't exactly explore the planet enough to get that attached to it.” Lura said, speaking over a commotion happening in the background. “Besides, the part of Earth I cared about is coming back with me.”
Lura and Ziame turned to see Rosalie hounding one of the many Kitanian soldiers aboard the ship with interview questions, giving the soldier no time to answer. “How long have you been serving in the military? How many alien planets have you visited? What kinds of aliens have you met? Would you mind giving me a blood and urine sample?”

“Whoa, I can't believe we're really in space. We're going to an alien planet! Ah, but I guess it isn't an alien planet for you guys, huh?” Will said excitedly looking at Earth from the window. Cosmo was standing to Will's left, and to his right was the now reborn frog. His frog like appearance was the same and he sported bright blue glistening skin.
Will had given him the name Nebula, based on another character from Intergalactic Hero Cosmo. Nebula had been a criminal in prison that had helped Cosmo escape after Cosmo was locked up by a crooked police officer. Cosmo and Nebula became good friends and he would occasionally appear in episodes to help Cosmo.
“Thank you again for letting them come back with us. I had told them I'd make sure they got a reward for their help, but I didn't expect they would want to come back to Kitania with me.” Lura said.
“It shouldn't be too hard to get the details settled. Kitania has been allowing off-worlders to settle there for a long time now, these two are just coming under different circumstances. Besides, it would have been hard to separate those two from the boy, and we can't exactly go back to Kitania without them.” Captain Ziame said.
“I wonder how people are going to react to seeing Cosmo and Nebula.” Lura pondered.
“Well, they are legendary creatures, and an important part of Kitanian culture. I'm sure the boy will be quite popular. The fate of them was being put down after going on a violent rampage, then kept as eggs for centuries. Being able to tame not just one, but both of them will have people interested.” Ziame answered.
“I suppose, but I'll be honest Captain, it didn't seem that difficult for them to be kept peaceful. I didn't see Will do anything particularly special.”
“It was a long time ago, so who knows the whole story of what happened. Maybe all it was was poor treatment after Gil and Iora passed away, and the powers that be just kept them tucked away. Like what you said happened when Respyn got his hands on one”
“I suppose.” Lura said, looking towards the boy and his monstrous friends, then towards the inquisitive woman running around spitting questions at anybody who would listen.
Lura was heading home. Will and Rosalie were going to be doing something they only could have dreamed of, visiting an alien planet. And Cosmo and Nebula are heading to a place deeply connected to them, but they have no memory of.
The ship sat still beside the Earth's moon. Slowly a mass of light began to build up behind the ships thrusting. Then, in a flash, the ship was gone.
