Tarsiers and Relative Dimensions in Space-time

Intrasolar Message – Title [none] – Sender [Munch] – Recipients [undisclosed] –

The current colleagues of Munch don’t realise Munch was part of the research team that pioneered connecting “traversable zero-length stable two-way topological space-time nodes between ellipsoidal body unstable Lagrange points co-located through a slice on the four-dimensional future null cone of velocity-gravity space via artificial relativistic rotating negative mass naked singularities” – for reasons Munch doesn’t understand, the term “warpways” has become more common. Munch always works with many Munch, but Munch worked with even more not Munch in that team, yet the efforts of Munch weren’t minor.

However, as Munch and crew are about to embark on a mission of exploration using these warpways, Munch thinks it is for the best the contributions of Munch are not widely known. Munch calculates a very high likelihood of deadly disasters, unforeseen upheavals, and collateral consequences which will be a direct result. Munch also predicts swift retribution on any who are believed responsible. Ironically, the safest place for Munch is here, climbing the warpway tree, as is the nature of Munch, despite Munch being unsure which direction danger will come from.

Above Munch the branches of the warpway tree may eventually encounter the canopies of other warpway trees. If so, as Munch expects Munch will, Munch shall be in an endless warpway forest. But will this be a dark forest or an enchanted forest? Munch thinks maybe both and maybe more. In endless space, there are endless possibilities.

Below Munch lies the history trunk of the warpway tree. Though as new warpways branch off old warpway knuckles these may open paths to the futures-that-will-never-be trunks of the warpway tree. Munch thinks the worst possible threat would be Munch with time to prepare, a dark tarsier in the night. In endless time, there is endless Munch.

  • Tarsiers have the largest "eyes relative to their body size" of any mammal – each eye is as big as their brain! They can't move their eyes but can twist their necks 180 degrees to see around them, like owls.

  •
  • Tarsiers are the only primates that are strictly carnivorous. Their diet includes insects, reptiles, frogs, birds, and bats!

  •
  • Tarsiers boast incredibly long hind legs and feet, their fingers are long with disk-like pads for gripping, and their tails are long and hairless. These features help them leap up to 40 times their body length.

  •
  • Tarsiers are shy and nervous by nature and struggle in captivity. When they feel stressed out they may start to beat their heads against a hard surface and commit suicide.

  •
  • Tarsiers perform complex duet calls, usually at sunrise. These vocalizations help establish pair bonds and territorial boundaries and might offer clues to the evolution of human language.
