I'm not usually one to call for a meet cute to start or end a bang...especially this kind! The steely hunk that had just made my brief acquaintance had now wanted me acquainted with a pal of his, a pristine handgun. I shivered at the possibilities of what it was needed for whilst still watching timidly as he beckoned my silence. Still, he continued to look past me, to the thin man behind me, whom I had noticed readying himself in the reflection of the polished steel prior, before slowly rising from his seat, his suit swishing silkily with is movement.
Behind me, the thin man coughed again, which abruptly stopped, as he noticed my new friend rising to the occasion. Suddenly, the thin man tossed his suitcase aside, letting it slam to the floor, as he revealed a semi automatic handgun from its interior and leveled it at my handsome partner. The gunfire raged back and forth, ricocheting off the metal cabin walls, and layering holes throughout the milky off-white seats, as I huddled for cover!
The handsome man dipped back next to me and instantly ducked my head further with the rough touch of a smooth palm as he sank down with me, firing off several flurries of blind bullets at the thin man. I screamed, in shock, not proud of my strained and nasally voice in the potentially last moments of my life. However, the handsome man pulled my face towards his, and gave me a warm, and reassuring stare. One that said, we'll make it through this. It was all I wanted to see, but would've preferred to hear in a charming accent as well. It was enough for me though, unless my imagination was feeding me quite the fantasy in anticipation of a quick trip to the afterlife, one filled with overpriced lattes, and horrible people...much like this one actually.

The thin man motored forward, charging our row, as I peered through the slits between our seats, wishing I'd never set foot in Italy, or at least avoided the train. He growled ferociously as he approached, bullets ringing effortlessly past us, dinging metals along the way in blaring cacophony. I'd never been involved in a firefight before, let alone a regular fight. I'd seen the housewives, and that was explosive as it could get. This...was not the type of fight I'd like to view from a nearby table at a moderately fancy Italian restaurant...nor my own personal fancy establishment... Olive Garden.
The handsome man peaked out, a bullet blazing past his head, before he slipped back down for cover. Taking a breath, he composed himself and nodded at me, our eyes meeting in an almost mesmerizing fashion, before he thrust himself outward, diving out into the middle of the cabin, marking off several more shots as he rolled through to the adjacent row across from us. Bullets pierced flesh, as the thud of the thin man's body falling to the floor was assuaged by the lumbering groan of the tracks cycling underneath our car. It was only a brief moment of respite before a siren wailed within the cabin, an accompanying red light blinking furiously in warning. Clearly, others has heard our commotion, and that could only be a good thing...right?
Footsteps scurried loudly from the next car over, as the handsome man exchanged a nervous glance with me, before extending his hand. “They're more of them coming, we gotta go!” His voice was gravely, yet wrapped in smooth masculinity. However...it was not what I was expecting. I gasped. “You're...you're not Italian?!”
“That's your first question!?”
