On the seventh night, Satoru visited Este’s home. She was waiting for him in the tearoom. Both got sited at the kotatsu table and Maru brought them some green tea and a couple of Kikufuku mochi. Este dressed in a light purple kimono and held her hair in a single braid. Satoru dressed in his usual dark suit, and as this was the dream realm, he didn’t use his blindfold.
“Here we are after a long week. Satoru, I’m so sorry about the incident that night.”
“I know there are things you want to know by now. You also talked with Madarajin… my father.” Este has her eyes staring at the teacup while speaking. She couldn’t handle to look Satoru in the eyes.
I have the feeling that she’s gloomy… she reminds me of Yuta and a little of Megumi. Also, I just have seen those two women here with her. There are no other people here or outside. Satoru thought, observing her.
“First, I want you to tell me who are you exactly? And why I keep being drawn to this dream? You know I want to sleep well again.” He asked, this being his pyful self.
“I’m the daughter of Madarajin, the dream king. Precisely because of this, I’m able to be here in the dream realm. I’m also the daughter of a human, what makes me half human…”
“Everything you see in this dream is a space created inside this realm by me using my imagination and my own dreams.” After saying this, Este made a pause, taking a deep breath before answering Satoru’s second question.
“You are being drawn to this dream because we have a direct contact with each other. I’m guessing you touched me with your bare hand…” Pausing for a moment, Este gathered some courage to say what she considered the most important thing in the meeting.
“So, I absorbed all aspects of your psychology, personality, and all experiences you had lived until the moment you touched me… I have those in me.”
She paused and looking directly at Satoru, this time with a bit of fear for his reaction. “I’m truly sorry. I invaded your privacy without you having any acknowledgement of it.”
Satoru didn’t want to believe what Este was telling him. He just kept silent for some time while taking a sip of tea.
“Are you for real? I just can’t believe what you are telling me right now.”
“Oh, I’m real… I don’t want to say this, but you’re in a state of deep sadness and grieving because you lost someone you love.”
“Your one and only best friend, Suguru Geto, he… you killed him st month.” Este was very close to breaking into tears when she said these things.
I’m believing that what she’s saying is all the truth.
“Say nothing else about that...” Satoru frowned, showing he didn’t like the comment.
I’m sorry for going rambling about your memories and feelings. It’s not my intention to make you feel worse, but that you understand how this is a serious matter. I feel terrible myself seeing everything I have seen. Este experienced a mix of feelings between sadness and worry when she thought this.
“You’re feeling worse now because I’m making you feel that way…”
“To put it simple, in exchange for taking all your memories I’m giving you, my feelings and emotions. Now you can feel whatever emotion I’m experiencing.” Este wanted to be honest with him.
“I’m still shocked at knowing even someone like you and this pce really exists. The way I see this, it’s like a curse for both of us.” Satoru’s attitude change and he was a bit concern at this point.
“It’s not a curse. It’s what you can call a genetic trait, just like your six eyes…”
“Also, it’s not important if you are dreaming or awake, close or far away. You’re going to feel everything from me.” After saying this, Este took her first sip of tea, now cold, and kept staring at the teacup.
“Este, dreaming the same dream over and over is already weird, and being in the same dream environment is also unconventional. I know that… it’s just that I can’t rationally understand what is happening here.”
Satoru kept silent for some time, while trying the Kikufuku mochi. It’s Zunda Cream Fvor, it can’t be a coincidence. She really knows about this from my memories.
Este drunk the rest of her lukewarm tea and pour more into both teacups. After, she called Maru and tried to pass the empty teapot to her. But Este lost the grip of it, and it fell on the corner of the table, breaking it. The gss from the teapot then scattered on the floor close to Este’s left side.
Trying to put together the pieces of the teapot to remake it. Este put her left hand on some little pieces of gss and injured her hand. At that moment, Satoru could feel the same pain in his hand and while Este took the little pieces of gss from her hand.
Este yelled, “Sharu, come here, please! I need your help. I broke the teapot and cut my hand while trying to put it back together.” Sharu brought some first aid stuff, kneeling close to Este, carefully cleaned her wounded hand and put on a bandage.
“Thank you, Maru and Sharu.” Este showed a timid smile to them.
Este could remake the teapot. She took all the gss pieces and put those on the table. She converted those into what looked like liquid gss, shaped this liquid into a fine yer. Then made this yer rounded and ft, taking the yer up created all the curves of the teapot. She finished the teapot, making its handle and spout.
Este reserved a part of the liquid gss, and it was still on the table. She took it and pced it over the pce where the lid of the teapot should fit. Then, she shaped the lid, and the teapot was just like new.
Satoru was so surprised about what was happening before his eyes that he kept thinking. She just put together that teapot again. It should be something like my curse technique blue. I’m so excited, this is going to be interesting.
In those moments, Satoru felt Este wasn’t showing any malice, hostility, or bad intentions towards him. So, without hesitation, he asked.
“How can we let of sharing feelings and emotions? How can you forget my memories?”
Este looked to Satoru in the eyes and realized that she didn’t have an answer to those questions. Kept silent for some time and considered what to say.
“Satoru, to be honest with you, I really don’t know how that can be done.”
“In the past, I took my mother’s memories right after I was born and then, with each touch, I had access to her more recent memories. I still have them with in me even when she’s no longer alive.”
When Este spoke, she thought nothing about the fact of sharing such personal information with Satoru. She felt like it was right to say this because, after all, she had more knowledge about him, that he had about her.
“I understand it’s not a simple situation. I don’t think just being worried about something that already happened is going to make us any good.” Satoru said this showing a faint smile on his face.
“Now, do you think we can start looking together for a way out of this situation?” Satoru asked.
“I want to find an outcome that benefits both of us. But I don’t want to fry my brain in the process as almost happened st week…” She said this like wanted to ugh to break from her anxiety.
“Also, Satoru, did you remember what you dream after you woke up these past days?”
“No, I remember nothing while I’m awake. Just when I reenter in the dream, I can remember the previous days’ dreams.”
“Ok, if you don’t mind and you want. I can give you part of my eyes. That way, you can remember your dreams after you awake.”
“This is going to allow you to come to this part of the dream realm any time you like…” and enter with your physical body too… I shouldn’t say this part for my own good. I should talk to Madarajin before saying it too casually.
“Huh… Are my physical eyes going to be affected by it? If not, I think it’s ok if you want to do it.”
“I’m going to give you 0.036 percent of my eyes. This will not affect your physical eyes, not the six eyes either.”
“Essentially, your eyes will hold with a key to the dream realm.” Este said.
Este made the math, considering Satoru’s physical trait. The six eyes, as a miscalcution from her part, could bring problems to him. “Please get closer and look directly into my eyes, so that I can transfer these drops to yours.”
Satoru got close to her and looked directly into Este’s eyes. He saw a couple of very tiny mixed bck and yellow drops entering both of his eyes. Blinked twice and then he felt like normal. His vision wasn’t affected.
“I feel the same. Why exactly I can’t have my six eyes here, or my limitless technique?” Satoru asked with curiosity.
“Your six eyes and technique are inexistent in the dream realm, more specifically because they are a physical trait. So, it’s not like the dream world is imposing on you a restriction.”
The reminder question for Este here was if Satoru came with his physical body to the dream realm, could he have access to his six eyes and limitless technique? She should talk to Madarajin to find out.
“Satoru, you just make me wonder if there are curses in the dream realm. I should ask my uncle Baku about it.”
Este thought this and spoke at the same time.
“I see… it’s an interesting question.” Satoru touched his chin with his right hand. He looked like The Thinker sculpture.
“By the way, what were you doing the night of the incident? I just find incredible that you could invade my domain.”
“What’s more important is you have no secondary effects after being inside it.” Satoru found amazing that Este could survive his domain expansion.
“I have no recollection of what I was doing in the awake world that day, or what I did that night. I have been trying to remember, but I can’t.”
“Also, I realized that you have no curse energy, and you were unaffected by my limitless technique. That’s the real reason we have a direct contact back then.”
“Hahaha,” Este ughed while releasing some of her tension.
“A weakling like me is unaffected by the limitless technique of the strongest sorcerer of the modern age, and his domain expansion.”
Satoru ughed and then said, “Is that so?”
Este stood up and open the door of the tearoom that faced to the exterior hallway. She walked to the hallway and then sited on the edge. Satoru followed her and sat on her right side.
Looking outside to the east, Este took a deep breath, and then exhale releasing all her anxiety.
“From now on, you coming here is going to be your decision, Satoru. That’s also the reason I gave you part of my eyes.”
“You will feel all that I feel for the time being, but I will not interfere with your life more than that.”
“Also, I’m going to keep researching a way to break that bond with you, even if I cannot forget your memories…”
Este felt a sense of responsibility towards Satoru, because, after all, she was the one who invaded his domain. She wanted them both to return to their normal lives. She also knew of Satoru’s great responsibility in the world of the awake. Thus, that was the best she could offer to him as a temporary solution.
“Este, you shouldn’t be so worried and gloomy about this situation. You know my past and all those things about me, but don’t let those things bother you.” Then, he added. “We can’t change the past, but we can think of how better our own present situation…”
Satoru looked at Este’s profile while the afternoon sun illumined her face and continued speaking.
“Don’t think it’s all on you. It’s an accident and you can’t control something you can’t understand. I’m guessing you have been avoiding this kind of situation since you were a kid.”
Este turned his face and looked at Satoru while he continued speaking. “Since the first time I came here, I realized that there were no other people, only you. Then I met your father, and ter those two came into this house.”
“Thanks for saying all those things. I have been in a continuous state of anxiety since I awake this morning. There is a weight lifted off my shoulders now...” She spoke with more security this time.
“I came to live here six months ago after I was tired of living in the awake world. So, I put together everything you see here.”
“Now, that’s impressive.” Satoru replied with a smile.
“I still must adjust, made some changes and add things here and there. Then, I want people to come here to visit while they’re dreaming.” She smiled back at Satoru.
“So, that’s your goal for the near future.”
“I will try to come and meet you while I’m sleeping. I want to help you with the research to solve our situation. So, I’m going to come as frequently as I can.” Trying to cheer her up, Satoru pushed Este with his left arm.
“I know you’re a very busy person and you have a lot on your pte right now. You can come visit any time you like.”
“I’ll advance the research as fast as I can, but I can’t promise you I’ll have a solution soon.”
Este wanted to be honest, and even when she was truth to her commitment to finding how to dissolve their bond. She didn’t want to give him false hopes by pretending it will be easy.
“That’s ok. I’m sure we will manage, and now that I know about your feelings, bond with me. It’s going to be easy for me to understand why I suddenly feel this way or another…”
Satoru left after seeing the sunset in Este’s company that day. He also ate the rest of the Kikufuku mochi before leaving.

Author’s Note
Satoru Gojo or Gojo Satoru.
I didn’t want to get very confused by Japanese honorifics. After, reading the JJK fan book. I realized Gege Akutami left there clear that Gojo will have no problem with calling anyone just by their name instead of their st name. It’s a consequence of Gojo’s careless and uncomplicated personality.
Something to remember about this aspect of the manga and the anime. Gojo calls his male students and male contemporaries by their names. This doesn’t happen with the women Utahime, Shoko, Nobara, being an exception Maki Zen-in. Out of respect for Maki’s wish to be called by her name instead of her st name. Because of her difficult retionship with her family.
Este will always call him Satoru and he will always call her Este. It is important to make clear that Este’s mother and her family side are Hispanic. This is another reason for her name, and I’ll go deep into this ter in the story. I just wanted to show how Satoru can be open-minded and go against all traditions and cultural conventions.
