Chapter 7:

It's been 2 weeks. I miss my mother's affectionate gaze and soothing touch, it's so lonely.

The mouse nudged me as if to comfort me, I gave it a small smile and it looked so proud. I don't think it's a normal mouse. It's too smart. I wouldn't be surprised if it started talking, this world is magical after all.

I kept walking non stop, and I am in the heart of the forest I think. The fog is thick and the trees are super tall, making me look like a dwarf inspite of having grown 3 inches in just one week.

I wouldn't say that my journey so far was eventful, but it was not normal either. It's almost as if someone is guiding me so that I don't experience any hardships.

When I was about to eat a berry which looked pretty delicious given how hungry I was, I heard a voice, "Don't eat it."

I thought that I was hallucinating but I heeded the warning after looking at how there was a pile of dead ants on one of the berry.

I thought it was a hallucination but.....

I looked at the mouse looked at me with its deep red eyes.

  It can't be, right?......
