I have finally got around to rewriting this story. Here is the link to it:

  I took a lot more time than I should have, a combination of laziness and not being satisfied. Anyway, here it is. If you are still interested after all this time, then feel free to check it out. I have made quite a few changes, the most significant of which would be multiple POVs. I think that fits more with the story I am trying to tell. Hopefully you will enjoy the story =).
