Our Protagonist, Akuma Tiryns.
Original Inspiration?
Believe it or not, Akuma is based off my younger self. The journey of AntiGod, is meant to represent a personal journey I myself went through. Minus the demons, gods and star powers of course.
Where did I get the name?
As some of you may know, Akuma translates to demon in Japanese. It's meant to symbolize his chaotic nature as well as his connection to the "other world". As for Tiryns, that would be a spoiler. While I'm at it, "Tenshi" translates to angel.

Why is he so scared of wooden objects?
You'll find out next chapter... Sort of.
Why is he haunted by an apparition? And when did they first meet?
I think you'll find that out next chapter as well.
Why is he so hated by the people around him?
You'll find out next chapter too.
Was martial arts always going to be his main powers?
Yes and no. So originally, I planned on introducing his book of "Uncertain" sooner, seeing as those books are going to be VERY important later. But the power system in this world is somewhat complicated and if I'm not careful I could end up info dumping. So since Kata is easier to explain through battle, I decided to introduce that power first.
Bonus question: Where does the "Reincarnation" in the title come to play?
That my friend, is an answer you will get at the end of Arc 1. Think of Arc 1 as one giant prologue that'll perfectly transition into the "other world".
