  Date and time: ???

  Mason and Nasa catch their breath in the new apartment.

  Nasa: W-What on Earth is happening?! Tsukasa, she's-

  Mason: I wouldn't count her as dead yet.

  Nasa: What Are You Talking About?!! Didn't you see what I did?!

  Mason: Yes, and I've seen it before. Trust me, we're not working by the normal rules anymore.

  Nasa grabs Mason's shoulders.

  Nasa: WHAT'S GOING ON?!!!

  Mason looks at Nasa's hands and he lets go.

  Mason: The Demon you saw back there is named Mephistopheles. He's a combination of two other Demons: Iblis, the flames of creation, and Mephiles, the void of the abyss. Together, he calls himself a time god. He can weave timelines together and stop time. So, he's pretty tough, but he's been beaten before.

  Nasa: If he can stop time, why let us move normally while it's stopped?

  Mason: One of his flaws. Big ego and likes playing with people.

  Nasa: Is that why he hasn't attacked us here?

  Nasa: H-How do we bring back Tsukasa?

  Mason: If Mephistopheles dies, all his actions will be nullified. It'll be like he never existed.

  Nasa: Then, life will go back to normal and we'll forget all about it?

  Mason: Well, you'll remember it, but yes.

  Nasa: What about you?

  Mason: … One of us has to blow out his candle. One of us goes with him.

  Nasa: … So, who beat him last time?

  Mason: *Sigh* An incredible person. Just wish I knew her longer.

  Nasa: You loved her?

  Mason: Not romantically, but yes. Don't worry. I'll get her back for you.

  Nasa: Why do you care about us so much? You keep protecting us. Was it really just a crush, Hoshizora?

  Mason removes his mask.

  Mason: Smart kid... Tell you what, if we make it through this, I'll tell you everything I know.

  Nasa: I'll think of alternate solutions, then. What else can I do?

  Mason tries to move the curtains magically, but can't. He then moves them by hand to see the world warping around them.

  Mason: Yggdrasil's already warped. Gotta rely on wind magic and ninjutsu. Should be plenty.

  Just then, countless copies of Tokyo fill the sky, many buildings being in multiple atmospheres.

  Nasa: My Gosh!

  Mason: Yup. There it is. Need a way to get back to where we were quickly. Skip over some bad guys maybe... Ever seen Back to the Future 2?

  Nasa: What's that?

  Mason: … Sonic Riders?

  Nasa: Oh!
