Rojen's voice carried a weight of solemnity, and his serious expressio no room for doubt. It was a demeanor that atention.
Hearing his decration, Dragon narrowed his eyes.
"You think one move will decide the oute? You're uimating me far too much!"
As one of the stro among the Marines' young first-geioes, Dragon carried a natural sense of pride. He had never sidered himself inferior to anyone.
A faint tremor coursed through his body, and a barely perceptible wind began to swirl around him. It was almost invisible but unmistakably present.
Rojen paid on's as. Instead, he closed his eyes and allowed his mind to extend outward, perceiving everything within and around him.
At that moment, it felt as though time itself had slowed to a halt.
The thunder r in the skies, the waves rising and falling in the sea— they all painted vivid images in his mind. Every detail was clear and vivid, as though the world itself had frozen before him.
Simultaneously, the knowledge and abilities of ''Uchiha Itachi'' surged through Rojen's thoughts, melding with him more deeply than ever before.
Abruptly, Rojen's eyes snapped open.
The three tomoe in his Sharingan spun rapidly. His scarlet eyes deepened, now as dark and rich as freshly spilled blood.
"Amaterasu!"
The low, resonant word escaped his lips as his gaze locked onto the void where Dragon stood.
In an instant, pitch-bck fmes materialized, burning fiercely from nothingness. Within moments, the fmes engulfed Dragon.
"What is this?!"
Dragon's voice was filled with shock as he realized the fmes had already begun ing his clothes.
The intense heat seared his skin, causing it to wrinkle and blister. Pain radiated from the surface of his body, spreading rapidly, and filling him with dread.
Dragon's figure blurred as he moved swiftly through the void, trying to evade the relentless fmes. But to his horror, the more he dodged, the more the fmes pursued him.
Rojen's gaze followed Dragon's every movement, trag him with precision. Wherever Dragon fled, clusters of bck fire erupted, chasing him relentlessly and enclosing him in a bzing inferno.
In a matter of seds, the battlefield was engulfed in a sea of bck fmes. The once pristine beaow burned with a heat so intehat even the sand itself began to melt. Waves pping at the shore caught fire, an impossibility that left Dragon utterly stunned.
"What kind of cursed fmes are these?!"
Dragon's heart raced as he noticed the fire ing his sleeve had spread to his arm within mere moments. No matter what he did, the fmes refused to extinguish.
"This is insane!"
His expression hardened. Activating his powers, Dragon severed the burning sleeve from his arm with an invisible bde. The discarded fabric disied into nothingness before it even touched the ground.
"Phew!"
Turning his gaze back to Rojen, Dragon saw his oppo standing firm. Rojen's crimson eyes glowed ominously, and the bck fmes surged forth like a tidal wave, f an imperable wall of destru.
"This kid… he's terrifying!"
The bck fmes were uing, capable of redug everything in their path to ash.
Dragon tried multiple times to close the distaween them with his incredible speed, but the fmes barred his path like an indomitable barrier.
Even more chilling was how the fmes multiplied expoially. Within just a few breaths, the fire had encircled Dragon pletely, leaving him with no escape.
"Huff, huff!"
Rojen panted heavily, blood seeping from his scarlet eyes. His face had grown pale, but his gaze remained fixed on, who was noed twenty meters away. Rojen dared not rex for even a sed.
Dragon's speed was unmatched, and his devastating power at cle was enough to kill Rojen instantly if given the bsp;
Rojen was certain that a ered Dragon, unleashing his full strength, would be capable of delivering a single, overwhelming attack of unimaginable ferocity.
However, from the moment he begaing his pns in motion—calg positions, fme release speeds, and even the precise locations—Rojen was fident that this final moment would be the oo end his formidable enemy.
"Die!"
With a low growl, the crimson in Rojen's eyes deepewo streaks of blood-red tears burst forth, streaming down his cheeks.
At this moment, his face twisted into a grotesque and almost unreizable expression.
"Weng weng weng!"
In the void, the pitch-bck fmes trembled violently, and an enormous mass of fire suddeed. It surged downward, enveloping the already fme-surrounded Dragon pletely.
"Not good!"
Seeing the massive fireball desding on him and the dense bck fmes closing in from all dires, Dragon's heart pounded with an overwhelming sense of danger.
In the instant, the all-enpassing bck fmes engulfed Dragoirely.
"Huff, huff, huff!"
Rojen gasped for air, his scarlet eyes fading rapidly back to bck. He cast o g the spot just 20 meters away, where Dragon was now buried in a sea of fmes. Without hesitatiourned and sprinted in the opposite dire.
In just a few quients, Rojen's figure vanished from sight.
Fifteehs ter, Rojen had already put a kilometer between himself and Dragon. eling chakra to his feet, he pushed his legs to their limit, running at full speed.
"Run! I o get out of here as fast as possible!"
"I 'must' leave this pce!"
Rear Admiral Dragon, one of the most outstandies among the Marines' young first geion, was not someoo be uimated. Even after using ''Amaterasu'', Rojen didn't believe he could truly defeat Dragon.
Thirty breaths ter, Rojen's breakneck speed began to falter.
Ahead of him, where his ship was docked, three yers of defenses surrou. Three Marines, each bearing high-ranking insignia, stood at the forefront with stern expressions. A quice revealed at least a thousand Mariationed on and around the ship.
The sheer number of Marines encirg the area was a testament to how much importahey pced on Rojen.
While Dragon battled him, the Mariationed in Loguetown and directly under Dragon's and had already cut off Rojen's escape route. Their meticulous pnning and imperable formations demonstrated the effid discipline of the regur military.
"Enemy spotted! Prepare for battle!"
As Rojen's figure came into view, a loud, anding voied from one of the officers standing on the ship. The shout instantly heightehe alertness of every Marine present.
"'Ka ka ka ka ka!'"
A chorus of metallic clicks rang out as tless rifles were aimed at Rojen. A chilling, murderous aura surged forth, sending shivers down his spine.
Narrowing his eyes, a cold glint fshed in them.
Rather than slowing down, Roje out a guttural roar, pushing his speed to its absolute limit.
"'Kill!'"
