He was standing there. Right there. Outside the window. The window on the second floor.Alicia looked away. She tried to ignore him. His body, drowned, doused in blood, and covered in dirt, scars and stab wounds, stood right outside her window. His eyes had rolled to the back of his head, and his skin was starting to rot. Picking a hoodie and some pairs of jeans, Alicia sighed and turned her back to him as she got dressed, then flipped him off as she left. The house was in complete disarray. When her parents died, her grandma moved in, and when she died, her uncle moved in. When he died, she was put into foster care, but when the third set of foster parents and the guy in charge of finding her a pce all died in accidents, everyone pretty much decided she was just cursed. They had no idea how right they were. Luckily, the house was still in her name, and she was 17 now, so she could work to make ends meet for a little while. Long enough, hopefully, to get rid of him.

Movie night at the Lagoon; an old theatre near her work. They were pying one of the original cuts of Empty Threats, a horror movie from the 80's where a guy gets fed up with work, quits, and goes on a killing spree after screaming at everyone he meets for an hour. It's very slow, it's 3 hours long, and Alicia was interested in it because it was a strange horror movie that let you know exactly why the killer was doing what he did, it was just that he was a bad person for doing it.And there they were.Four girls stood in a circle waiting for her outside the entrance of the theatre. One of them, the girl with the dark brown curly hair in thick pigtails and ripped jeans, ran over and gave her a hug."Alicia!" She cried, "So gd you could make it!"He stood in front of Alicia as Kiera hugged her, making a throat ssh gesture.Yeah yeah, Alicia thought to herself. It would only be one night, and then he'd find a way to kill her friends. She knew that. She felt guilty, but... Kiera had forced tonight on her at work when she found out Alicia was going. The other girls would probably be fine, so long as she didn't talk to them much.Speaking of."Okay, so these are the girls, this is my horror club!" Kiera excimed, "We've got Eliza, Heidi, and Faith! Girls, this is Alicia!"Alicia did her best not to look up, but when she did, she saw three of the most beautiful girls she had ever id eyes on. Eliza, the tallest one, had thick bck hair that was shaved on one side, and on the other ran down to her chest where it turned bright green halfway through. She was dressed radically punk in spiked leather, and was adorned with all sorts of piercings and studs."What's up?" She said excitedly, her voice deep and cool-sounding as she waved, "You keen to watch some guy go crazy?"Alicia smiled weakly, "Ah, yeah... it's... gonna be fun."Heidi was a lot more conservatively dressed, in a cardigan and long skirt with cream-coloured pumps, her straight brown hair tied back in a loose ponytail, her thick-rimmed gsses covering much of her face. With Eliza standing next to her, the two were night and day, street tough and librarian."We've heard some good things," She said, "Though mostly it was Kiera dragging us out here as usual. It'd be cool to have like, a proper pce to meet though. Is it true you live on your own?""Oh my god Heidi you can't just ask her that, her parents are dead!" Kiera squealed, "Sorry, Alicia. Still though, if you do join horror club, we'd really love to have you!"He ughed. Alicia didn't."I, uh, I mean yeah, but... I'm sorry, this is just going to be for tonight."Eliza groaned, "C'mon Kiera, you gotta stop putting the pressure on folks, you're scaring them off."Kiera ughed, "I thought that was the point of horror club!"After a little bit more chatting, they went inside, but before she could join them Alicia was grabbed by the back of the neck. The cold, grimy, familiar hands had her in their grasp, and pointed at each of the girls. All of them would die. Not just Kiera.Alicia stopped in her tracks."Um... wait..." She said, and the group turned around to look at her. Kiera's eyes narrowed."You good, Alicia?" She said, suddenly strictly, "Come on. Come inside.""I have a- I mean I- I-"Kiera opened her mouth a little bit in a strange way, showing her teeth gritted in a frown. He let go of Alicia's neck."Nah, you're good girl," She said, still grimacing a little, "Come on. Let's watch the movie."
