Henry was thought this was quite the conundrum.
'That first title seems perfect for Hell right now, but Null's one also weakens the demons significantly, and the Darkness Point boost could be very useful. However, Life's title has one thing that attracted my attention. Instant Regeneration! People drink some ridiculously expensive potions to get that ability, and even then, it never lasts for a minute per activation.'
Hmm...Henry thought for quite a while and ended up making his choice.
'Null's title seems suited for gathering Darkness Points and fights against strong demons, while Life's one could help out more in intense battles against both mobs and strong demons. As for the first title, it's suited for leveling up my Demon Slaying Energy, which I need right now. Thus, the first title it is. Let it be known, I am now the Budding Demon Slayer.'
With this, Henry was done with the titles.
'Now, let's buy the experience crystal.'
Henry opened Null's Shop.
'I'll buy the experience crystal'
Henry pulled the crystal out of his inventory. He put some mana into it and crushed it with his hand.
'Oh, so becoming a Knight with other weapons improves my Mind's Eye?'
'Ah, that reminds me. Wasn't there a new daily quest that popped up in today's list?'
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
'Ah, the sword swings! I totally forgot. Also, a meal? Has this become the Demon Gourmet System or something? Ah, whatever, there's probably a reason behind this strange thing.'
Henry stood up and quickly did the 10000 sword swings. He had finally gotten into real combat after a few days of training, so he felt his grip over his sword had improved.
After finishing the quest, Henry went to sleep.
The next day, Henry awoke before anyone else. He needed half the sleep they needed because of the Dragonkin potion, after all.
He took the chance to do today's 10000 swings then pulled out some of the grain he had gathered.
'Let's make that meal that the system wants.' He left his tent to cook it. He wanted to make porridge with this grain. According to an analysis he had made, these were called Falmub grains. They looked like a blue version of wheat that was also very rough and warm to the touch.
Once he left the tent, he found Pon, a spear wielding member of the Demon Hunter Corps standing guard outside.
"Oh hey, Pon. You can catch some sleep if you want, I'm awake now."
"Really? Thank you, Mr.Hellwalker!" The young man immediately entered his tent and went to sleep.
Henry then put the Falmub grains into some water and boiled it. After it was completely cooked, he ate it. It actually didn't taste that bad, just a slightly spice porridge.
'Such a strange quest. But I'll trust the system. It has yet to guide me to something wrong. On that note, let's check out these new sub quests.'
'Hmm...well, that Hellsword one shouldn't be that hard.'
Henry decided to use this time to learn the third form of Asura's Wrath.
Henry's phantom clone appeared yet again and started using the form. It was a large leap upwards with a powerful fall downwards, but unlike the military technique's Titanfall, it actually made use of the sword, as you would hold its blade towards the ground while you fall, making a powerful, concentrated attack at the are area you fall in, while still creating the aura infused shockwaves.
Henry tried to do it, and he did do it successfully due to it having experience with Titanfall.
"Wonderful. One more tool in the arsenal."
